We were lucky enough to take obedience classes, fun workshops, and the "University" day school (combo of personalized training & doggy playtime/daycare) with our golden retriever, Midas. All the instructors and assistants are fantastic! Supernova has a gorgeous facility and all instruction is based on positive reinforcement and helping your dog to make good choices. They do an excellent job explaining what each baby step is meant to solidify--so that you as a human aren't tempted to skip a step and then wonder why your dog hasn't consistently followed through with their obedience skills. Classes are usually small (and/or have assistants to help) so that your dog gets 1-on-1 time to help with any issues you're working through. While training and practice is a lifetime thing, we have noticed impressive success with Midas' training and get compliments on his behavior considering his young age. We could not have done that without the help of Noelle, Kim, and the rest of the Supernova team.

Margie told me to come in at 5:45 PM so we could do my cat Tofu's sanitary trim together, as he is sensitive about his hindquarters. I arrived exactly on the dot, only to find she had completely gone back on her word and tried it without me. I walked into the salon to a horrifying scene: my cat had a metal grooming leash tightened around his neck and was thrashing so wildly he was on the verge of choking himself to death. He is a gentle Ragdoll, but he was forced into a blind, life-or-flight panic by being unsafely restrained. While she eventually let go of the loop, the damage was done. The second I grabbed him, he immediately calmed down--but because he had been pushed to such a terrifying limit before I got there, he completely ripped his nail out in the struggle. On top of that, the paw pad trim I explicitly requested was never even done. To make matters worse, I was charged $108 for both cats ($54 each) for an incomplete job and a severely traumatized, injured pet. For comparison, my brother brought his cat here previously for the exact same full service and was only charged $40. Margie may be kind on the phone, but her handling was incredibly unsafe, she went back on her explicit word, and the pricing is entirely inconsistent. I will never bring my pets back here. I'm completely traumatized on what I walked into. My heart is completely broken

Not only that, but my dog really enjoys seeing them and will often sit at their feet while they're giving me the rundown at the end of the exam. The staff has helped us out many times, from lipomas to UTIs to ear infections and beyond, and they have always shown that they truly care about your pets and their well-being.

I tried to inquire about why my original appt wasn't being honored and why the vet couldn't see us before the exam but she cut me off, told me our medical records would be sent via email and shut the door on me. Upon exiting the facility I asked the name of the medical staffer and whether she was licensed and was interrupted by the same woman who refused to provide her name. I was given private number to call. never abused that privilege.until I had a bird that needed emergency care. she recommended going to college for better care. she was not available. on the way I was recommended to go to go fund me for money to pay for vet visit I was overwhelmed by the generosity of people to help me pay for vet visit. There was talk along the way to vet. people asking why my vet sent me to college. also there was talk of sending money to my vet for care. so my vet name was mentioned. some people had negative thingsto say about my vet . I defended my vet. an ex employee of vet was on that chat. she was telling my vet I had negative things to say about them. I defendEd them. that was not mentioned to my vet. Anyway, because of conversation, I was banned from that practice. I was devastated that after so .many years. she dropped me without even talking to me about what happened. I was shocked. I think her techs need to stay out of situations. it's been almost 10 years since this happened. still she holds a grudge and yes I do now too, because she didn't have the trust in me to talk it out. for all the years she provided excellent care. it took one incident to end it.

In the past I had taken…read morehim to the 'big store' groomers - Pet Smart - and they told me he needed to go to a private groomer because he was too scared, they couldn't lift a bigger dog, and made all kinds of disappointing excuses for a pup who is known to be gentle and sweet and easy to get along with. I took my buddy to Clarence Groomers and not only did they do an incredible job getting his fur trimmed and shampooed, his nails filed, and other excellent services to get him comfortable and ready for summer, but they were patient and gentle with him, and said he was a sweetheart and easy to work with. When I picked him up he was so handsome and really happy. Heidi and Ashtin were wonderful. You won't regret taking your best furry pal here. They really love animals and take great care of them.

I get texts with pics and even videos showing me what my pup is up to.....usually playing with other dogs or going for a walk or getting some cuddle love. I think Simba likes Amy's more than home.....he is scrambling to get out of the car as soon as we turn onto her street! Oh....did I mention that you get a "report card" of how your pet did while at Amy's. My Simba got an A+ on his last stay....that's my boy!
