I have been using Canine Carrousel for years and would not go anywhere else. Once you are a customer, Lynn books you ahead for the next month and during the holidays, she books you several months so you are sure to get in each month. She takes really good care of her customers; she loves the dogs almost as much as we do. When I lost my first dog, she cried with me. Now, my two dogs know exactly where to go when we walk into the shop, and they come out looking so pretty. She really knows her dogs and has often pointed out areas of concern for me to have checked. If you are not a current customer, she can only take you by referral so she can continue to take great care of her current customers. I love this place , Lynn and Paul are absolutely phenomenal with my little girl , they really love the dogs they groom and it shows. I will never take my little one anywhere else. As one reviewer said my baby loves going there she gets super excited when we pull up to the groomers ,I took her to a couple of other groomers before finding Canine Carousel and that never happened she was always full of anxiety and didn't want me to leave her and of course I felt anxious leaving her there, I never feel that way leaving her with Paul or Lynn, plus she always looks super adorable. Yes its hard to get in if you are not a regular, but that's because no one ever goes anywhere else!!! They are the best, hands down !!! There is no better grooming salon for your dog than Canine Carrousel. The best grooming at the most reasonable prices while treating each dog with great care and kindness . I have been a customer of Canine Carrousel for about 10 years. They have customers who have been taking their dogs there for over 30 years. Lynn's customers are very loyal for many good reasons. First, everything is done to make the dogs feel comfortable and secure when they are in for grooming. The staff are very gentle and kind with each and every dog they groom. The dogs are treated as if they were the owner's own pets. This is the only groomer I have found who doesn't make me drop my dogs off early in the morning and pick them up 6-8 hours later. That works well for many people, but for several reasons it would have been a terrible strain for my two elderly dogs. On the day of my appointment I would call for the best time to bring in my two dogs. When they were done, I got a call to pick them up. This way they were there only as long as it took to bathe and groom both dogs. Those two sweethearts are gone now and I have a younger adopted Bichon. She also enjoys the kindness and consideration given at this shop. This is just one example of how great it is to have a groomer who loves animals and sees the dogs as far more than just an object. My Bichons, past and present, always looked/look fabulous. Many groomers do not even know how to groom different breeds. If you want a show dog look for your dog, this is the place to go. If you want an easy-to-care-for look that is still adorable, this is the place for you. The grooming expertise is beyond compare. The staff are all great and very accommodating. Lynn And Paul are very talented groomers. You need to book in advance with them because they are busy. They are busy because they are GREAT. Our dogs absolutely love them. They treat our dogs like their own. They were the first groomers to successfully groom our Cockapoo, who was scared to death of other groomers. Our dogs are super relaxed and beautiful when we pick them up. Hands-down, they're the best groomers I've had in the Dallas area. read more

Only take new customers by "referrals" . I called to get a first appointment for my small dog. They would not accept new customers unless we were referred by one of their current customers. Very disappointing read more

The lady here is incredibly rude and tacky. She offers unsolicited 'advice' that is offensive. She doesn't know when to stop talking and states information that is false. She kept referring to our dog as a labradoodle when she's a goldendoodle. We continued to correct her and she got snotty and said she knew. She tried insisting on telling us 'facts' that were inaccurate. I trust the breeder far beyond her on the facts of goldendoodles. She couldn't answer a simple yes or no questions without rambling. Paul, however, was great!! He was nice and professional. It is such a shame he is in business with her. Paul open your own place!! We won't ever be back to Canine Carousel. The overall groom seemed fine, we will see how she looks over the next day or two when her hair is back to normal. read more

I had tried several places in Rowlett and Garland which had good reviews but as soon as I saw what they'd done to my little furry baby I was horrified! Lynn really knows her stuff when it comes to grooming all kinds of breeds. She provides a calm haven for the dogs which I had not seen anywhere else. I thought she didn't have any other dogs in the shop the first time I took Gracie. Be sure to call in advance and make an appointment because she has a lot of repeat customers - we all love Lynn! Once you're on her schedule you won't have to worry about getting in to see her. Since I've been taking Gracie to her she has not only provided exceptional grooming care but I've also called her with questions about shampoos and other products for Gracie's sensitive skin. Lynn provided recommendations and now only uses a special shampoo which has helped keep our little baby's skin and hair soft and moisturized. I could never imagine taking Gracie to anyone else - it amazes me how much love and caring Lynn has for all of the furry babies she sees you would have thought I'd known Lynn for years!!! Lynn is like a doggy guardian angel looking after all of those furry heartbeats that she comes into contact with. She has a special touch that calms them and not only does Gracie look beautiful the day we pick her up, the cut she gets grows perfectly! She never looks shaggy or unkempt! I called to get my 6 pound pup groomed which only takes 45 mins and the lady told me that she couldn't get her in until April May or June. smh Seriously, I can go somewhere else then. read more

I am a 1st time dog owner....I have a purebred SHIH TZU....that is a PRINCESS !! I went to other groomers in the area and was not happy at all.....and then I found Lynn at Canine Carrousel !!! There are not enough words to tell you what I think of her and her work !! She loves my dog almost as much as I do !! The haircuts.....are PRICELESS !!! Everywhere I take my dog, people comment on her beauty......when you go to the shop it will always be very QUIET ...my dog is not upset or stressed to go there.....you may have to wait to even get a new appt., that is how busy she is !!! I trust her soooo much with my dog.....and that is saying alot considering that dog is my DAUGHTER and a PRINCESS !!! WONDERFUL!! I am so pleased that I was referred to Canine Carrousel! Lynn and Paul are the best! We moved to Garland and it was too far to go back to our old groomer in Dallas that we'd used for 15 years. We tried another groomer. We have a Westie so he has a very particular, precise cut. I called and asked if they had Westie experience and they said 'we can do a Westie'. I should have known better since they didn't answer the question. They butchered poor Riley! He looked horrible. I had to let him grow out about 6 weeks and in the meantime was referred to Lynn. I called her and immediately liked her on the phone. I've been taking Riley every four weeks for the last several months and they are just now getting him back into shape. I am VERY pleased with the way he looks. They are very caring and he loves to go. He knows when we pull up in front and he can't wait to get inside. I appreciate the fact that they don't keep the dogs all day.
