I traveled from Plano to support his business very friendly staff great prices. When he passed someone else took over I became a disabled NP surviving on less than half of my monthly income. Now I am on Social Security. The price of my small 11 pound dog went up $11 with no notice sent to me. I was shocked at the increase. Previous staff except for 1 person had resigned. They shaved him completely and claimed he was matted but that was not the case. They were being lazy and did not want to attempt detangling him. On top of that when I arrived at 5:30 they were still not done. I watched a girl named Kelsey grooming him from the window and she was being very aggressive with my small dog. She was yanking his small arms and being unnecessarily aggressive when turning his head and body. I went in and complained and they gave me my dog back unfinished and still made me pay full price because "they would've finished the job but I didn't let them" this place is horrible don't recommend!!!!! Don't believe the reviews that say this is a good place to take your pet. We tried it a couple of times just to be sure the bad vibes from the first wasn't a one-off bad day (which happens to the best of us), but each experience has gotten worse. The first time I dropped her off, then next it was my girlfriend - with basically the same results. They may not kennel the dogs, but when my dog got home she drank water like she hadn't had ANY while she was there, and that's not like her. Then she immediately went outside to do her business, again, like they hadn't given her the chance AT ALL. I can't say they actually mistreat any of the dogs there, BUT it definitely appears like they aren't getting the quality of care this place advertises. The customer service is basic at best, but I've still had better experiences at the DMV. They'll smile at you, but it definitely comes with some extra attitude and little patience. The pricing is above average for the results, because their work isn't "bad" per se, but it certainly isn't good either. You can get the EXACT same quality and care from Petsmart or Petco, for FAR less. If you're a regular customer, It's possible they just treat you better and so you might get decent service here, but I'll never spend another dime at this place to find out. This grooming salon might look unassuming and slightly shabby but they consistently do an excellent job. You can tell they treat the dogs well too because normally my dogs are scared of grooming salons but they run right into Fuzzy Tails. I was nervous at first because they don't kennel the dogs while they wait to be groomed, they let them hangout with the other dogs in play areas. But my dogs LOVE IT and I don't have to feel guilty bringing them to the groomers anymore. Also, the groomers here actually take the time to brush out small mats instead of just shaving all their hair off. read more

Oh. My. Gawsh. These folks were AMAZING start to finish. We recently adopted a pugapoo who hadn't ever had a proper cut at 10 months old. He also had a crappy interaction with a very aggressive vet two days after we got him. Needless to say we were hesitant of who would touch our newest family member. I looked into several places who all wanted to kennel him the entire time he was there aside from the actual cut. Here he was free to play with other dogs and get some air. After waiting two weeks for an appointment, I was expecting to be blown away. I'm underwhelmed. $115 total for both small dog cuts. Can't tell you how much each coast because my receipt says "large dog grooming". Foxy looks like she barely got a cut- I requested a "lions cut" which is typically completely shaved with a mane left. It looks like they ran a clipper over her slightly shorter than her actual coat. She doesn't really look like she got a haircut at all. Parker gets a "lamb cut" which the guy behind the counter seemed to know what I meant. He said short lamb cut but what I've received is a long lamb cut I guess. His haircut looks like how it would after it has grown out for a month or so b it also if the legs were kept way too long in the first place. They also don't smell amazing like they normally would after leaving a grooming salon. Needless to say, I won't be back end will be calling to discuss this with them. read more

Moved to the area and needed a new groomer for my dog. He's less than a year old and it was only his second time at the groomers. Although I was a bit worried at first seeing all the dogs roaming about in the store, I was reassured that my puppy was going to be fine because he was able to adjust to his new environment and apparently he did very well at his new groomers. Came here once before and it was alright. 8/10 cut with alright pricing ($55). Tried to schedule again but my voicemail was unanswered. I called and left another voicemail that also was never answered. The span between these 2 voicemails was about 3 weeks. I left a formal inquiry on their website with my email and phone # and still no answer (about 3 weeks now). Either their staff is incompetent or I am blacklisted for an unknown reason. The staff were awesome! I had called in before I took my miniature schnauzer Sammy in because he hates being in kennels and he's a bit of a drama king. One of the workers who answered reassured me that he was going to be fine and they don't put the dogs in kennels they're actually socializing with other dogs, which convinced me to take my dog there.
