Eh, just okay. We had our dog go here a few times and they always seem to have to shave him rather than give him a short cut and it's always the same reason, he is too matted. So we took him to another place and they were able to comb him out and NOT shave him. Makes me wonder if this place is just lazy or what. Like I mentioned above, it's just OK. We were recommended by someone who has been going here for years and years so there are people who love it....just not us. I don't think it's a place for small dogs but that's just my opinion. read more

Since my last review, I no longer go here First of all, they were constantly in need of decent groomers and Quincy was often just shaved Secondly and more importantly, they told me they actually lost a dog and then found him, scary! Finally, our dog came back with Kennel cough from this place, and David argued with me and even called my Vet!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. We have taken our goldendoodle here for a couple of years for her grooming. She was groomed yesterday and woke up in the morning and wouldn't put weight on her hind foot. They didn't mention anything when they dropped her off and I just assumed that her nail was cut too short. Boy was I wrong!! I called to let the owner know that I wasn't happy that we weren't informed of her nail being cut short and he stated "Oh I forgot to tell you, her entire nail was ripped out. You should probably take her to the vet." Apparently her foot was caught on something while in their care and her entire nail was ripped out! I can't tell you how terrible I feel for trusting our beloved family pet with such careless and callous people. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. read more

Terrible! Never, EVER take your pet here. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I had similar, but more mortifying, experience as Diana. I have a Great Pyrenees, which basically resembles a small polar bear with long fur (she is 5'1ft on her hind legs and 120lbs), which you are never suppose to shave!! Their coat keeps them insulated and cool in hot weather, and because the fur is so long, even if you brush them ever day, their hind legs get a little knotted. The first time they shaved her it was because "[only] her legs where matted", the second was in the summer and they "thought it was what we wanted". The first time they shaved her and we picked her up afterwords, we didn't even recognize her, she looked like a giant white Labrador. I have also never seen an animal depressed before, or look so eager to get out of a place. For an entire month after that she would not go on walks, and her tail was between her legs constantly, not even treats would cheer her up. The second time it happend not only was she was shaking so badly that we could barely get her in the car to go home, and it was the second time she got a skin infection after being groomed here! We had never seen her in such a state so we took her to the vet the next morning, who said the only explanation was that they must have not let her sit down the entire day, and she never fully recovered afterwards. She was in perfect health otherwise for a dog her age (11). I don't care how nice the staff seems, or how reasonable the prices are, I would never, ever, recommend this place. Not to mention the cost for antibiotics (after getting skin infections after each visit) and vet trips, essentially tripled the cost of getting my dog groomed here each time. They are lazy, unsanitary, and cruel. read more

We took our Aussie here on July 3 on 5 mins notice because we couldn't get him in anywhere else. The owner was super friendly and got us right in! We were a little cautious due to the bad Yelp reviews (and I worried all day) but when we went back to pick our boy up, we were so happy. Merle was in a great mood, obviously had a good time, was super clean and fresh and even had a 4th of July bandana around his neck! Granted, he didn't require any shaping, but his nails were well done and the fur in between his pads was cleanly clipped and he's ready to party. The shop has been in business 40 years and I can see why. We will definitely go again for Merle's spa days! read more

Horrible!!,Terrible place to board you dog.!! If their was less then 0,they wouldn't even deserve that. We boarded our pug for close to 2 weeks , left emergency numbers for them to call if there was a problem , when we picked him up and asked if there were any problems ,the response from the owner was no. The dog was bumping into walls, we called the vet within a 1/2 hr of getting him home,,had to immediately take him to our vet ,who said the dog had severe corneal ulcers to his eyes caused from something splashing into his eyes!! He then had to be seen by special eye vet to try to save his eye and vision , with little to no success.The owner then denied taking any responsibility for my expensive visits to the eye vet or our vet, ignored numerous letters for expenses from myself or our lawyer. Not only did the dog loss any functioning eyesight, our disabled daughter lost the companionship of her beloved pug due to their gross negligence!!
