My Sheltie's coat was DESTROYED due to negligence of the shop and they initially blamed it on me. Until, I showed them photos of the past cuts they've done. The original groomer is no longer working there and, apparently, wrote down the wrong information regarding his cut on the history card. Our Sheltie's mane was shaved off! It will take, at least, a year to grow back. If it grows back at all! When I called to complain, the manager blamed me without a second thought. She said I asked for that cut. NO WAY IN HELL WOULD I HAVE A SHELTIE'S MANE SHAVED OFF!!! After checking with her staff, she realized it was 100% their fault. I spoke to the owner afterward. She accepted responsibility, refunded the charge and said to bring the dog in to clean up the cut they did give him. Later that afternoon the manager called to let me know the charge was reversed and that SHE didn't want us returning to clean- up the cut. Was I livid? Yes! Was I ever insulting or raised my voice? Wish I knew about this place earlier. They are well priced, friendly, and usually have short notice availability. We were going to Petco for a while but it was only because no where had availability during the pandemic and the follow year. Our dog was NOT a fan of Petco, she would pull on her leash and just generally be scared. She doesn't love getting groomed but she will tolerate it fine at home. Brought our 5 month old Poo-Chon puppy for his first groom. They were professional, sensitive of his comfort levels, and all around seemed patient with an uncooperative puppy. I recently took my 65lbs bernedoodle to just grooming and they did an amazing job! My dog is very skittish and timid and they reassured me it would be okay! these people mutilated my dog. he has cuts in his ears, and clipper burn. i asked them NOT to do a "Boo cut" on my Pomeranian and told them i like his hair longer but trimmed. when i picked him up I was horrified. then they kept telling me "you said two inches". TWO INCHES off his hinds in the back which i pointed out to you was long. never had i said I want it cut all the way around. i have NEVER had a groomer tell me "he was matted" so they have to shave him down like that. my usual place charges me extra and BRUSHES it out because they aren't LAZY. they even CALL EVERY TIME BEFORE CUTTING to CONFIRM WHAT I WANT. there is absolutely no blending, his head looks like he is wearing a helmet. i am literally sick to my stomach i trusted these people with him. taking him to the vet this afternoon to have him looked at. which they also snapped back and said they will refuse to pay his bill. if you want people with no talent and just a pair of clippers to cut your dog, this is the place for you. and had the nerve to beg me not to post a review on Yelp. you guys screwed up and wouldn't even own up to it. EDIT: my dog was last groomed 8 weeks ago, so your statement is wrong. his coat was not matted, just behind the ears which is not unusual. and that is STILL not an excuse to shave him DOWN TO HIS UNDERCOAT!!! People keep asking me "why is he grey?!?" you guys do not even know how to correctly groom a pomeranian! anyone with actual education KNOWS THEY SHOULD NOT BE CUT DOWN LIKE THAT! enroll in some continuing education courses or something because you have done 18 years of taking clippers to dogs apparently, with no actual skills. please google how a Boo cut is damaging to pomernianas. a well educated groomer KNOWS THAT. also, i can post my vet bill if you would like with his antibiotic spray that was prescribed. you have my address, feel free to send me a check for the $92 exam and medication bill. when i came in, you guys made me sign something saying you aren't responsible for injuries during grooming and that should have been the FIRST RED FLAG. never have i had to sign something like that anywhere else i have been. please also learn the definition for the word "baseless", as i have provided all the accurate documentation of what you guys did on this review. read more

I brought my 13 month Havenese to be groomed, buzz cut. The dogs are kept in cages after dropping them off by 10am: Pick up is 330- 4p. After using this service for 2 years with 4 dogs this time was different. The volume of dogs seems to have gone up, the grooming skill down and the price skyrocketed. 85- 95 dollars a dog. 85 for a buzz cut for my 4 pound Yorkie. Upon Pick-up; Joey came to me head down tail dragging. I picked him up and he tightly clung to me. His right eyelash was shaved right off. His white muzzle looked as if it was never washed. I spoke to" Liz" identifies as the owner-hauty and defensive claiming the buzz cut I asked for included buzzing off his eyelash was as ordered. Most important after she became verbally combative, she agreed to wash him over if he was dropped off in the next 2 days. There was no empathy for " Joey" who seemed to be traumatized this time by the experience. It is inconvient for me to return and I just felt my pup was speaking volumes of his experience. Honestly, I opine its now about the money not your dog- and despite this visit being the first of several- I had an issue- it was enough to NEVER return! read more

My 11 year old Husky/Malamute is not an easy dog to groom. He's well behaved, but has SO MUCH long white hair. Tried this groomer since I'm new to the area and it's close to where I live. They did a fabulous job and we will be back.
