I can't recommend canine couture enough. My husky especially needs frequent deshed baths and they really put in the extra work to get all the undercoat off. They also have such loving staff that do the most to make sure your dog is comfortable and having a good time. Both my dogs are anxious so this makes me feel so much more at ease. Very happy with service here, and so close to home! I decided to try somewhere new, and found this place on Yelp. Reviews were few, but good, so I decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! The way things work with this salon is they have a window from 8-10am that you can drop your pooch off and then they will call you when he/she is ready. I like that idea, because it gives you more time should your morning be a bit hectic. The staff was nice, and my dog seemed happy when he left. They also did what I asked, as far as trimming him quite short for the summer look. He smelled good, and he had a cute bandanna around his neck. My boyfriend thought he looked girly, but I think he looks cute. I would say I've found my new to-go salon, AND even better, it was seriously $15 less than what I was paying at the other salon. We have been coming to Canine Couture for about two years and always have had a pleasant experience with quality service. Our visit today was extremely disappointing. My husband requested a different cut to our normal and they kindly explained that there would be "lines" in our dogs fur. My husband said he understood. When I picked our dog up later on that afternoon I was surprised to see her shaved not with noticeable lines but with noticeable uneven patches. I brought her back and explained that we would just like to have her trimmed down further to cover up all the marks. They very sweetly explained it would be an additional $30 on top of the increased grooming price of $90 that I had already paid to get her coat to where we wanted it. I was extremely disappointed that they did not just take care of it mostly because her coat clearly looked blotchy and poorly groomed. Sadly we will not be returning. I understand time is money but I feel that pride in your work and going the extra mile for return costumers is the best way to keep and grow your business. Run from this place. Extremely rude staff including front office ,the groomer and the owner itself. There is extra fees for everything!!! Unnecessary de matting fees, extra fees for dropping dog few mins late. Inconsistent pricing. It seems each visit has different set of pricing to make the ticket larger. We started with this place few years ago and with new management everything is about money. On my recent visit upon inquiring about the exuberant total bill, all three of them started arguing with me, literally fighting with me. They have no customer service and don't care if their customers stay. Please find better dog grooming place and save your time and money. read more

They took way too long to groom my dog. He was at the facility for almost 5 hours for a wash and hair cut. Additionally he has minimal matting on his fur and they shaved off all of his beautiful fur all the way to his skin.. I did not appreciate them shaving off all his hair like a sheep. read more

We have taken our dog for grooming for over 3 years here. We've had minor issues that were resolved over time. I have to comb her out to eliminate matting, as they won't. They'll shave her or leave the matting. However, my last visit is truly my last. I normally pay $75 for a mini groom. Which is reasonable. When I went to pick up my dog they charged me $100. Remember I comb my dog out before she goes. I was shocked. I said you must of had a price increase. A person behind the counter said Yes. I asked may I have a copy of your new price list? She said we don't have one. I asked when they increased prices and she said today. I asked did you do anything extra today? She said no. After 3 years of being a customer I should of been told of the price increase when I dropped off my dog NOT after the service was provided. I won't be back. So unprofessional. read more

Do NOT go here...... ridiculous new pricing, sketchy management, zero customer service/care. Notice that the majority of reviews under the former owner were mostly positive. Big change in reviews now under the new owner. Many are negative. * Prices have sky-rocketed with no warning to long-time customers. * When I, a customer for many years, called to make an appointment last week, no one mentioned any changes. (Zero customer care.) * In the conversation, the lady asked if I wanted my dog's teeth cleaned. I said NO and even explained why. When I picked up my dog, she was charging me extra for teeth cleaning!!? What????! * And they sucked a few more dollars out of my credit card because of "matting". I have NEVER been charged for this. Yes, the dog gets tangles and "mats", but that is precisely why I get her shaved. You shave her entire body and charge me extra for a few snags???! NEVER in 10 years. * Customers used to just pick up our pets by 4 pm. Again, now no customer warning of new policies, no customer care. At 1:30 pm I went swimming, planning to check on my dog when done. Out of the pool an hour later, I look at my phone and there are 2 messages. #1 said my dog is ready. #2 said something like if I don't pick my dog up within an hour, I'll be chaged an additional $10 per hour that she is there!!? What???! So I immediately towel off, jump in my car and race to CCG. Fortunately I didn't have to go by any cops. No warning on raised prices, no listening about cleaning teeth, no warning about additional hourly charges. Bad customer care. Bad customer service. Bad. Bad. Bad. I'm new to the area, so my neighbor referred me to Canine Couture. My "pup" is 115 lbs and very sweet and mellow/lazy. I've had several groomers tell me she was just too big for them to groom, or they want to charge me $115 + (...a dollar a lb???). The first time I took her to Canine Couture they were very nice and she came home clean and happy. Went back a 2nd time and had another great experience. They charge me $80 for a bath, full shave, and nail trim which I think is a reasonable price to pay for such a large dog. Very happy with the staff at Canine Couture and will definitely be going back. read more

In my recent experience with new mgt although sweet and friendly the groomer literally trimmed to being barely no locks. Little did I know. I would never agree. I was shocked at checkout to see him like this and could not express my thoughts at the time of checkout. My family and friends are extremely disappointed too. I vividly rem previous owners would not even cut his fur length short considering the kind of breed he is. I am slowly coming back to terms that his fur will grow back. Instead of sending texts that I get $5 off for writing review. Kindly, keep customers honest with such breeds as it may not happen on other breeds that requires minimal grooming. This makes me so sad! I'm not someone to usually do a review and only if it's a positive one but this broke my heart. I've been coming here for 3+ years and was in LOVE with this place. The ambiance, care, quality of service and staff were top notch and it was always a great experience for me and my pup. Sadly, since change in ownership it has been awful. I 'pamper' my dog once a month (he doesn't need it but I give him a 'spa' day and take him there for spoiling). Last month was the first time I noticed the difference. But gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking the new owner wouldn't change much and that the experience wasn't great because they were still trying to transition. Not only is the atmosphere ENTIRELY different and 'cold', but the staff aren't the same and even the products are different (and not in a good way). Completely changed everything! ZERO spoiling and it feels like it's just a 'get your dog in and out as fast as possible' vibe. You can't even see the dogs being groomed anymore. Don't get me wrong, the staff are ok, not mean or negative, but not the same 'energy' and love as before and really just 'ok'. My dog used to smell soooo good and was so soft and shiny. Now he's just 'clean'. Quality of products seems very different too. Not to mention the price went up almost $10 last time I was there last month and then when I picked up my pup the 2nd time I found out it went up even more! Almost $20 spike in just a few months! No mention of price change or signs of prices anywhere! I was blindsided at the cost spike ONLY when I picked him up and had to pay for service. The staff aren't the same and the care isn't the same either. I miss the old Canine Coutore!! It doesn't have the same love, care, or quality and not worth the new hefty price tag. I'll find somewhere else to take my 'baby'. I think they forgot that these pups are our family. I'm sorry to the owner for a bad review, but maybe this will help change a few things before you start losing more customers. read more

I have three wonderful girls in my life at home. Number one is my girlfriend of 44 years. Numbers two and three are named Muffin and Peanut, and are a Pekingese/Shih Tzu mix and a Yorkshire Terrier respectively (photos proudly posted on my personal). Both four legged girls are rescue princesses. All four of us cuddle up together each night for sweet dreams, Muffin sleeping on my feet and Peanut curled up between my wife's pillow and mine (so she can kiss my nose when she feels like it). My girls all like their hair and fur just so. Being a well-trained husband and daddy, I take them all to their favorite beauty salons.
