My long-haired Dachshund can be temperamental and is afraid of new people. I explained to Crystal how he behaves and let her know my concerns. I wanted her to know what to expect before we got there. When I dropped him off, she made sure my dog was comfortable and we talked about what kind of cut I was looking for. I don't know much about dog grooming so I had some questions about standard cuts for this breed. Crystal was very knowledgeable and I could tell she takes great pride in her work and genuinely cares about animals. I came back a little early and my dog wasn't quite ready. He looked relaxed and calm...I was shocked! She did a wonderful job keeping him happy. His cut was super cute and his shedding has been much less after he was combed out so well. Crystal took the time after to show me what kind of brush would be best for his coat and also some techniques for keeping his coat in its best condition. I have been to some of the big box store groomers but never had such great service. There is no comparison, Crystal is way above in skill and customer service. Ryker can be a bit of a baby, yet she was patient and kind with him. He was relaxed when I picked him up, smelled and looked great. They did a great job de-shedding him without damaging his coat. I brought my Maltese mix here for a grooming appointment because I saw this place had pretty good reviews. I was able to get an appointment easily and dropped my little guy off to get the works. I asked how long it would take and was told maybe 2 hours. Every other groomer I've been to takes longer than that but maybe it's because they do things differently here? I thought it was strange that it would be that fast but I left him anyways. About an hour later I got a call that he was done and I was shocked that they could have washed and dried him, cut his fur, trimmed his nails, cleaned his ears, etc. When I picked him up, he looked pretty much the same except his fur was shorter. My issue was that his fur wasn't even trimmed evenly. They did such a sloppy and rushed job I'm not sure why I paid $50+ to groom a small 15 pound dog. I will definitely not be returning. read more

This was a wonderful experience for us and three of our dogs. Our wire haired dachshund came out gorgeous. Our Pomeranian is soft as silk and beautiful. Best of all is our Pekingese. She's pretty old (came from Craigslist so we don't know how old) she's on steroids and pain meds for server arthritis in her hips. She could barely get around. After she took her hair down, she looks adorable and acts like she's younger. Full of vim and vinegar (whatever that means). Based on Yelp reviews, I tried a new groomer for my 9-year old Beagle. When I called to set up the appointment, Crystal was amazing! When I met her in person the feeling was the same. My dog is very anxious but she immediately felt comfortable (enjoying the window seat once her grooming was done). Crystal used an exfoliating mask to reduce dandruff and shedding. My dog looked great when I picked her up...so soft and shiny with very little shedding. I already set up my next appointment a month out. read more

Just had the worst dog grooming experience ever. Dropped off my 3 little dogs and went back 4 1/2 hours later and only one had been groomed, and she wasn't completely finished!! Chrystal was no help when I asked her what was taking so long? She said they had no dog washer to help out. I responded then why did you have me bring them in at 1 o'clock knowing it would take you sooo long to groom the dogs. These are small breed but very old,12-14-16 years old and all suffer from arthritis. To have them stand around for that amount of time is hard on their joints. Not much understanding from them, they just made excuses. Save yourself time and trouble and avoid them!! I understand what you attempted to do by getting another groomer but even after 4 1/2 hours, only one dog was groomed. That is unaccepted and that is why I took the other two dogs home without being groomed. I would be there till 10 o'clock waiting for all the dogs to be groomed. read more

Great salon. I used them for my three dogs, two big and one 7 lb.er. None of my dogs had previously been groomed and I was totally reassured when I went to pick them up. They were a part of the whole gang. They were glad to see me but really, the stress less environment was obvious. My dogs smell so wonderful. Highly recommend this salon. read more

Pugs, if you know them, are MAJOR hair bags. It's a wonder how much hair those small dogs can hold and mine is no different...until now. I went there for the first time and didn't have really big expectations, just a wash and dry and trim nails (best of luck there...again, if you know Pugs). What I got back was a de-haired, soft, happy little Pug-girl! Even the nail trimming wasn't a problem she said, once Leeloo settled down and knew no one was going to hurt her. I LOVE these people! Really, my simple (?) Pug has been transformed into a real beauty. She's sooooo soft and really, no shedding to speak of...AMAZING! What I like best is the dogs are not left in cages, they run around socializing and partying. These folks LOVE dogs and it shows in their work, their attitudes and how happy the fur kids are running around all smiles (really, dogs smile) Now, my little dog has a place to go for a real spa day with the girls, too! LOVE Crystal! She was all around awesome! I have two pups, a minpin with a crazy nail growth issue and a pit/lab mix who is hyper and crazy. First of all I didn't know my pups hair was so white!? They smelled great and neither seemed to mind being there (as opposed to history of petsmart) my minpins nails have been an issue as long as I can remember. Even having the vet cut them they just bleed and are still so long! Crystal used her dremel and her nails now look normal and only one bled a little bit. We will most definitely be back! read more

I took my sweet Pomeranian for a first visit and found her to be an extremely knowledgeable and gentle groomer! Recently, my dog had been losing hair on his back and she assessed it and suggested that I have his thyroid checked. I took him to the veterinarian the following week and the vet confirmed that his thyroid level was very low and prescribed medication. The groomer was absolutely a game changer and truly pointed us in the right direction! She did an excellent job with my Pomeranian and he looked just like a show dog! Because of Crystal's positive reviews and after going in to talk to her about my dogs and check out the facilities (very clean), I took them in for a grooming and she did an amazing job! i wanted to give my 5 stars for Crystal and Canine Couture. Finally i found someone who knows how to groom a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She corrected the poor jobs from previous groomers who cut his hair incorrectly. As a result he was a big fluffy mess as his undercoat had grown so thick. I use to come to this shop cause my dog was treated pretty good. But... What this place does lack is owner and client confidentiality. Lack of integrity. I could not believe my business was being discussed with a stranger. Two stars are for the decent bath my dog received. Will never ever eveeeer refer or come back to this establishment. I can understand and fully agree with my missed appointments. I completely get the options that were given. However, having another business owner in that plaza joke about YOU dropping me as a client was not appreciated and also is not accurate. I told you I did not appreciate you talking about our business and you still, a second time, did it. Crystal there is no doubt about your skills as a groomer, you are great at it. Just lacking professionalism. You trying to justify my missed appointments for this review and your second hand apology is insulting. Thank you for responding.
