Took my pup there to do the DIY dog wash. It was very convenient and simple. The owner was friendly and hands off, but if you need help or have questions she is happy to assist. I like having the professional tall dog tub to secure my dog while I shampooed and conditioned her; i also used their different scissors to trim a lot of her hair... they have combs and brushes to as well has nail clippers, ear cleansing products, and blow dryers. I appreciated the different stations to comb, cut and blow dry. I usually wash my pup at home; However it gets really messy and I don't have as much control as I do here with the professional equipment. $18 is a lot less to pay compared to a dog groomer ... Nothing fancy ... but just right for the job! I enjoy spending time with my pup and grooming her so this worked for us. read more

My dog and I use this place for baths only so I can't speak to the other services but we totally recommend coming here. They have large steel wash stations at a comfortable height for me, I'm 5'4. They provide everything you need for a bath: shampoo, conditioner, ear wipes, face wash, nail clippers, towels, aprons, and dryers. They also have a box dryer but my dog hates that. My sister and I just recently visited this place with our dogs. We were so excited to know there was a self grooming and washing place for our little babies. They provide shampoo, conditioner, combs, nail clippers and scissors. And this crazy industrial blow dryer for your animals. The lady at the front was so helpful and extremely sweet. We got in just in the nick of time to be able to get our little babies all cleaned up. What I can say it's a lot harder to groom your dogs than I actually gave past groomers credit for. This is such a poorly run business and Ronnie the owner should be ashamed of what he did to Dirty Dawgs. The tubs are small and the gal who is there has no common sense and severely lacks any customer service skills. They give you 1 skimpy towel to dry your dog before you have to go to another station to dry your dog. I asked her to help me lift my dog into the drying table and her response " I was told we can't do that, which was the same response when I asked for another towel with the exception of her saying I can give you a small towel. I've waited 48 hours to write this review. I NEVER write negative reviews. My parents instilled in me: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything. HOWEVER... Our golden retriever Molly needed a close cut for the summer...a field cut, down to about an inch or two and cutting her feathers and under belly. We ended up with a completely shaved dog. That doesn't bother us so much, because it is summertime and the hair will grow back. Unfortunately, the shaving was very sloppy. Choppy, inconsistent, and worst of all injured our girl in several places. She has red/pink wounds. Every other grooming over the years has taken at least 2 to 3 hours. This one took only one hour. Chop shop. I am becoming more and more angry as the days go by. Never again! I warn you away from Dirty Dawgs on North Campbell. I posted several graphic photos. We tried to schedule an appointment for mobile grooming but found out that "due to staffing", they are unable to service any of the south side of Tucson, but they do have adequate staffing to service even further away in Green Valley, Vail & Sahuarita for an extra $20. I've always have had a great time until today. The girl at the front was on her phone so she pointed for me to go back. Then she went outside on her phone while the two other customers and I had to find everything we needed. When I went to look for her to get clippers she was still outside with Facebook open on the computer. She came in to help me while still on her phone. Eventually she got off and was nice. Then when I was leaving she was writing a note that said she was going on a break. I will return but hopefully the new employee will have better customer service and be present. read more

I brought my Siberian Husky here today for his first dog wash! The place is very clean, organized, and had plenty of room. I do recommend this place and I will be coming back again for his next wash! The worker who helped us today was extremely nice! You can tell she is an expert with dogs. She knew my dog's breed very well so my dog's behavior didn't surprise her. He had lots of energy and was very vocal throughout the wash and grooming. The worker frequently came back to check on us and made sure we weren't having any troubles. She helped us unclogged our bath, made sure we had plenty of towels, and that we had all of the supplies to dry and groom our dog. She gave us the best customer service! The only bad thing was a couple of customers who we encountered. This had nothing to do with the service I got from Dirty Dawgs. We had a couple of elderly customers that wouldn't stop being judgemental. Our dog is a Siberian Husky... Huskies talk a lot. It is a characteristic of their breed. And these elderly couple wouldn't stop making rude comments towards us and our dog. They made us feel so uncomfortable and angry that we quickly groomed our dog and left. All I want to say is that when you come here, you are here to wash and groom your dog, so don't judge others and their dog's behavior. Worry about yourself. My boyfriend and I are very heartbroken to see our much loved baby like this, such a special little dog that we both got as a sign of our love. I feel very sad for letting "Dirty Dawgs" put their unprofessional hands on our baby. When i went to go pick up my dog from this dirty and unsanitary establishment i almost shed a tear and was out of words. She wanted to charge us for picking up our dog 20 mins later "i thought i told you guys to pick him up at 12:30" Ronnie."we have no room for him" Ronnie. Her hospitality is awful, and the place was empty anyway. The cealing and fans are full of dog hair, the waiting area is extremely gross. Why hasnt sanitation given this place a visit???? His nails were not clipped, and she still charged full amount. He is now left with patches of hair in his whole body, this is totally unacceptable as she is a "certified" pet groomer. The tail was completely ruined and he didn't even smell like shampoo or any dog perfume. I have no words to describe the service it is beyond awful and bad, PLEASE I TELL YOU DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR LOVED PET. OUR DOG WAS VERY UNEASY AFTER THIS, WE DONT KNOW WHAT RONNIE DID TO OUR BABY. OUR BABY IS SO UNRECOGNIZABLE. She also complained that she lost patience with our dog which does not make sense because our dog is the most gentle dog ever and he is a therapy dog. If she lost patience like she complained then she is in the wrong profession, and nobody pet should be near her. Also when i picked up my dog he was very anxious as if he were to be harmed. It is not his first time getting groomed. She starting to defend herself by saying that Riley our dog had never been groomed before, when he gets groomed once a month. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I have been taking my black lab to Dirty Dawgs for the past year or so. I usually bathe her in the backyard, but it's simply too cold to do that in the late Fall/Winter months. The spa is very clean, pretty, welcoming, and functional. The owner is always incredibly friendly and helpful, and it is clear that she understands and loves dogs very much. The bathing areas are ample in space and very easy to use. I love that they carry natural dog wash products, and you can choose between peppermint, tea tree oil, and eucalyptus shampoos and conditioners. There are always clean towels and ear wipes available near the bathing stations. Because I have a black lab with a very thick coat, I really value the large blow dryers that are available at Dirty Dawgs. The blow dryer is the difference between Cola smelling like a wet dog for an hour rather than half of the day. Although $15 might seem like a lot to pay to wash your own dog, the facilities, products, and friendly service are well worth the cost. read more

The bath tubs here are tall, and my human didn't have to bend over that much. My human is really tall, and I'm really short, my human liked tall bath tubs. The human who owned the place made sure that my human knew what he was doing and showed him towels and the bubbly stuff they rub on me. The water temperature was perfect for me, and I was relaxing while he did all the work. He even used the stuff that makes my fur really soft. My human was happy because he didn't have to worry about all my fur going down the water hole. He looked like he was enjoying the radio while he dried me with that big thing that blows air. I got dry really fast, and didn't have to run and roll around after my bath. I smelled different and my human was happy and smiling! Thanks Oslo for your review on Dirty Dawgs! I will for sure bring Oslo here again. Like Oslo said the professional baths are tall and you don't have to stress by bending over. The owner was there to make sure that I was settled in and made sure that I had everything. It's super comfortable, especially for a tall guy like me. They had plenty of options for shampoos and conditioners for various purposes. One of the nicest things is that I don't have to worry about Oslo's fur clogging up the drain, that is one less thing. The dryers were nice, he was dried in minutes. Oslo came out of there clean and smelling good. Oslo seems ready to head out the door again and get pampered. Very sadly my shih tzu has been diagnosed with heart failure and I wanted a one-on-one, no-interruptions grooming service to cause as little distress as possible for my dog and found Dirty Dawgs and Ronni. She was wonderful about setting up our first appointment and I opted for the mobile grooming. Ronni suggested I get her cut short all over because of the summer heat and I agreed. It was a bit of a shock to see her cut that short but she LOVES it! I walk her in the mornings but it's still hot and the change in her ability to handle the morning heat, is remarkable. Although she was working on another dog, she took the time to explain everything to me. I honestly did not know what I was doing. After about 5 minutes, I asked if she could clip my elderly dog. Looooved my experience at Dirty Dawgs! It was my first time here, I came on a Thursday afternoon and I had no idea what to expect. Right away I was greeted by a young man who was helping another customer get set up but he quickly came over and asked if I was here for the DIY wash and if it was my first time. I said yup! He took me to the tubs and offered me so many choices of shampoos and conditioners and helped me pick the right ones for my 2 pups. He showed me how to work the dryers (which dry your pups so fast) and brought towels out, everything is pretty self explanatory, so it's easy to get right to it! Right next to the washing tubs they have baskets full of awesome extras like leave in conditioner, tear stain remover, nose/paw lotions (among sooo many other things that are included in the price!!). There were plenty of different brushes for all hair types and aprons, like literally I can't think of one thing they didn't have. I've been to more expensive dog washes in town and this place blew them out of the water! You have to remember it's DO IT YOURSELF, so you have to just be comfortable to explore the space and look at all the extras, don't be shy. I think my favorite thing was that they sell treats from Dogs n' Donuts which is one of my favorite local businesses. It's great seeing local businesses support each other. Love this place it's so cute !!! I had such blast with my little poodle and Maltese. We saw the reviews on yelp and decided to give it a try, best decision ever! Me and my sister had so much fun washing the dogs and everything you need to groom and clean them. I loved the place set up with each little station reminded me of builder bear when I was little and it was sooo much fun! Pricing is very fair especially because you have everything you need and don't have to worry about your fur balls not having a good experience.
