CVVC has offered veterinary care for five dogs and two cats for us over the past twenty years. We have found them to be completely trustworthy, up-to-date on advances in the field of veterinary medicine, easy to communicate with, and reasonably priced. When we have needed specialty care elsewhere, they have worked well with the specialty vets in caring for our animals. We love their staff, and always feel welcome and like a member of their extended family. Also, our dogs love their staff! Extremely helpful with my pet cat. Great at answering all my dumb and useless questions. I'm a hypochondriac when it comes to my cat. I always worry about him. Which stinks. But they are always willing and able to help with those questions. Got him the care he needed and then some! The vet techs called me ahead while having him in their care, before running more tests on him. However they tried to offer us different food to see if he was allergic to the food we were giving him. As we had mentioned previously that he was having weird problems with the dry foods we were trying to give him. The vet techs also gave us a sample of something to help get his pills down more easily. They are just really great staff! I'd really suggest going here if you want the best care for your pet! Only downside is not getting an email or print out of the visit itself. Like banfield does. But that's not the end of the world! As long as my pets getting the best care possible; not getting a few papers back about the visit isnt going to bother me or stop me from coming back! read more

We have had many misdiagnoses at this vet. They don't care very much and give up too easily. One of their vets blamed ME when I brought in my dying cat and they made us wait for 20 MINUTES. I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

I have used this clinic for my cats for many years. I currently have six cats--strays appear at my door and I keep them. I live in the country so they are indoor-outdoor cars. Recently my newest cat developed a complicated bladder problem but is doing fine now because of the skill and attention of the staff. The clinic also makes house calls which is less stressful than transporting six cats to the clinic for routine yearly checkups and vaccinations. When I have had to have a cat with incurable illness or age put down, they come to my house. I trust them completely. read more

Cannon Valley Vet has left me feeling satisfied with my visit. My cat is looking much healthier. I would recommend any doctor, but Doctor DuBe was very kind and took the time to listen to my needs. They offer boarding and playtime as well, which I have found to be very helpful. I have received the best of service. Their store has many products and accommodations for animals of all kinds. We love Cannon Valley Vet! When we got our white German Shepherd pup in March, this place was recommended by my bother in law. Our dog has received all of her care there and they also have great animal boarding which we have used on a number of occasions. I have seen all three vet there, Dr. Tollefson, Dr. Bisel, and Dr. Passe, and they all are excellent.All the vet tecs are outstanding as well. For the last 3 1/2 years my cat has received fantastic treatment from Dr. Tollefson. It started when she was willing to neuter and treat my cat when he was a feral cat. He then got liver failure and Dr. Tollefson saved his life by quickly and accurately coming up with the right diagnosis and treatment plan. My cat is a fighter and he has been seen there numerous times for cat bites. He also got a urinary tract infection and had some teeth problems. The prices are reasonable and I never feel overcharged, just relieved and confident that my cat will get the best treatment possible. The office staff is always friendly and helpful, as are the people who work in the associated retail store. This is a great vet clinic! read more

This place is overpriced and not sensitive to animals or their ownerscomplaints. I brought my dog in for a nail clipping after being told on the phone it would cost 17 dollars. After they clipped my dogs nails they asked me for 40 dollars! I asked them why it was so much when I was quoted 17 over the phone. She replied " your dog was scared and it was harder to do.". I've had my dogs nails clipped multiple times by our groomer ( for 8 dollars) and have even held my dog for the clippings. Yes, the dog gets nervous but she does not make it any more difficult. The vet should have told me she was having a hard time and told me it was going to cost more before she did it. When I told her I was shocked by the price and didn't agree to that, she rolled her eyes and said "that's the way it goes". I paid the money and then wrote an email complaining about the cost and the service. The only response I ever got was I had been added to their mailing list for junk mailings! Save your money..go to another vet. read more
