Her vocabulary has taken off, she's genuinely curious about the world, and most importantly, she's confident in who she is. She absolutely loves going to school. The teachers are warm, passionate, and deeply care about the children. They create an environment where learning feels like joyful discovery. The curriculum is thoughtfully play-based and beautifully rooted in nature and the world around them. Marco Polo has played such a meaningful role in shaping who our daughter is becoming. We couldn't ask for more.

This was so bittersweet, as we all wished that she could stay longer (as long as possible) in Marco Polo! We didn't want to leave! We were a part of such a tight-knit, warm, supportive, and welcoming community - the teachers, fellow parents, all the students - that I truly believe that the bond forged and positive effects gleaned (both academic and non-academic) will last well into the future. We felt that the Reggio Emilia approach worked so well in helping kids of different character traits and temperaments grow according to their own pace and strengths. We loved all the teachers that have taught our daughter, as well as others we saw every single day in their various supporting roles (admin, front desk, meal times, science, subs, etc). It took a village, and boy was that village awesome. We could feel that the teachers (and everyone else) working there truly were there because they loved kids, and they loved helping kids thrive. The Preschool and Pre-K programs were particularly notable and instrumental in their roles in helping our daughter get more than ready for her kindergarten year (and beyond). Under the relatively new leadership of Ms. Kimberly, I saw notable improvements in terms of the variety of interesting new subjects, activities, and a stronger sense of direction, leadership, and community. We can't possibly thank Marco Polo enough for helping shape our daughter, for encouraging and loving her, and for supporting us throughout. Ms Amy, Ms Venus, Mr Erick, Ms Paris, Ms Fatemeh, Ms Destinee, Ms Kimberly, Ms Jing, Ms Caitlin, Mr Ruben, Ms Lisa, Ms Janet, and everyone else - you truly made Marco Polo such a wonderful journey for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This is a very much overdue review! My daughter started Storybook daycare a few weeks after she…read moreturned 2 and she's been there a full year now. I cannot express how much I appreciate the staff for the care my daughter receives. I have seen growth in her skills and knowing she comes home telling me what she's learned or showing me things she'd made melts my heart. She looks forward to attending daycare most of the time which makes me feel comfortable leaving her while I have to work full time. I love how the staff has a warm friendly family like energy. They communicate very well and listen to any concerns one might have. Another bonus is the traditional schools year style they have which means the kids take their yearly picture along with spring pics and Santa pics which all come out amazing. The staff puts a lot of effort into the events that they have for the kids and families to attend which makes my daughter happy that I'm able to see her "school and teachers" as she says. I think a lot of the staff has been there for a good amount of time and they're care for children is so great that I've had parents tell me their siblings went there or another child of theirs so they've been knowing about this amazing daycare for a long time Also, I toured about 6 other daycares and my daughter was shy and timid when seeing them with me but when we went to Storybook for the tour she warmed up right away and said she wants to go their so that was a big sign for me. Thank you to all the staff at Storybook for making this new mom feel comfortable about sending her daughter to daycare which I was terrified of and now I plan to send my 1 year old as soon as she turns 2.

My daughter often talked about her school, her teachers, and her friends. Most importantly, the education my daughter received exceeded my expectations. Her learning, development, and discipline are all thanks to the dedicated staff. I am incredibly grateful for the care and education my daughter received. I highly recommend this school; it is affordable, clean, and well-organized, with accessible parking and great breakfast and lunch options for the kids.

Calvary is deeply rooted in Christian values, and you truly see those values lived out daily through the way teachers care for students and how the community supports one another. One of the things we love most is the strong sense of community. Families are welcoming, and there are many opportunities for parent involvement, which makes you feel connected to your child's education. We strongly believe parent involvement plays a huge role in shaping our children's future. The school also offers many field trips and hands-on learning experiences that keep students excited and engaged. The teachers are experienced, caring, and genuinely invested in each child's growth--academically, spiritually, and socially. With over 50 years of history, the school has a strong foundation and clear mission. We also appreciate the diverse student body and the emphasis on mission opportunities. Academically, we love the focus on spelling bees, speech meets, and foreign language instruction starting in first grade. We couldn't be happier with our experience!

I appreciate your response, but I want to be very clear: no one from Calvary has ever reached out…read moreto me directly to discuss my experience. There was no follow-up, no attempt at reconciliation, and no effort to understand what I personally witnessed. What I shared was not based on "emotion" or misunderstanding. It was based on what I saw with my own eyes. I witnessed Mrs. Morgan yank a first grader by the back of his hoodie and yell at him to sit down. I witnessed her grab another student by the arm and push him to the ground during a class field trip. I witnessed her publicly embarrass a student in front of his peers, telling him he doesn't listen. These were not secondhand accounts. These were direct observations. Additionally, when I brought a serious concern to administration regarding a student telling my son she "didn't like Black people," the issue was minimized rather than meaningfully addressed. That was deeply concerning. You may state that investigations were conducted and documentation exists, but my experience as a parent was that my concerns were not handled with transparency, accountability, or care. Instead of focusing on defending reputations, I would hope the school would focus on reflection and correction. You consistently teach Christ-like love and character. My experience did not reflect those values in practice. This was my lived experience. Dismissing it as a difference in "perspective" does not change what I saw or how it was handled. I stand by my review. My phone number nor my email has changed.

As a mom of three, I've experienced several daycare settings over the years and I can honestly say…read morethat the infant classroom here has been one of the best experiences I could have hoped for. Leaving a baby at daycare is one of the hardest things a parent can do. When they're so young, they can't tell you whether they feel safe, loved, or happy during the day. You have to trust your instincts and the people caring for them. Even when they're just a few months old, I've learned that you can absolutely tell the difference between an environment where a child feels secure and one where they don't. My daughter truly thrived here. She was genuinely cared for, loved, and accepted, and that gave me so much peace of mind. During drop off she would try to get out of my arms to get to her teachers. Maybe she was excited for breakfast, but more than anything, it was obvious she was excited to be there. She'd light up when she saw them and would often start dancing with them before I even left. As a parent, there's nothing more reassuring than seeing your child genuinely happy to walk through those doors. She's now moved on to the next classroom, and while I'll miss the infant team, I'm incredibly grateful for the love and care they showed her during such an important stage of her life. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will be cared for with kindness, warmth, and genuine affection, I would absolutely recommend this KinderCare. The ONLY downside is that the parking is tough to find during peak drop off times and that can be a little frustrating but I know the director has been looking to alleviate that issue. Still, a small inconvenience when you know your kid is with genuinely good people.

Everyone does a great job of communicating through email and the KinderCare app. We looked forward to the daily reports and photos that showed us what our child was doing throughout the day. We were pleased with the way teachers took his milestone goals very seriously. If he struggled with something, they took time to speak with us at drop-offs or pick-ups. We took advantage of the parent-teacher conferences to discuss our child's learning habits and social interactions in more detail. Above all, we were impressed by the patience and caring from teachers and staff. When our son first started, he wouldn't eat. They noticed that he gravitated towards a particular teacher's aide so she sat with him every day until he felt comfortable around the other kids. When our son couldn't fall asleep during naptime, the teachers helped him feel safe. They always encouraged him to open up at his own pace. To everyone at South Coast KinderCare: THANK YOU so very much for the positive impact you have made on our child's life. Sincerely, the Le Family.

This review is based upon my experience in the infant room at Kiddie Academy of Santa Ana. This…read morefacility is dangerous. The teachers do not pay attention to the infants, instead they spend hours on their phones while toddlers comingle with infants whom cannot crawl nor walk. They do not follow California laws or protocols. They do not report injuries to parents. The administrative staff cover up the illegal actions of the teachers instead of correcting them. The owners Joseph and Sonia Haikal do not properly oversee their seven Orange County facilities. After witnessing children step on my daughter, the common response from the staff was "children get hurt". In what world is it acceptable for teachers to neglect a four month old infant to the point where my family had to spend more time overseeing the staff than working? We submitted hours of video to California Licensing due to the lack of response from management and not a single response from Mr. Joseph Haikal, the owner. The facility kept my daughter in a Baby Merlin sleepsuit for hours a day. My daughter was behind on development because rather than interact with the infants, the staff kept them immobile so they wouldn't have to focus on anything but their cell phones. My daughter along with several other children were left to sleep on the floor for hours because the staff were too lazy to transfer them to a crib, also breaking state licensing laws. I tried to send the owner of a video of a toddler dragging an infant (non- mobile) by their hair like a caveman without any teacher realizing it, in fact two were on their phones in the video. I tried to let them know that there were four infants in a room without a teacher at one point, crickets. The only person that shed real light on the situation was Sonia Haikal, after I transferred my daughter to their Huntington Beach location (another review to follow). Her statement was "I can't fire teachers unless they do something really heinous", she obviously doesn't believe that child endangerment is a concern. I had to pull my daughter from this school after a month and a half. I have approximately 40 hours of recorded video showing the staff not washing hands, chewing fingernails and wiping saliva on infants, leaving infants to sleep on the floor, and basically not changing diapers more than two to three times in an eight hour day. Here are some California Licensing Reports to read before you consider this location: https://www.ccld.dss.ca.gov/transparencyapi/api/FacilityReports?facNum=304371225&inx=4 https://www.ccld.dss.ca.gov/transparencyapi/api/FacilityReports?facNum=304371225&inx=5 https://www.ccld.dss.ca.gov/transparencyapi/api/FacilityReports?facNum=304371225&inx=6 Bottom line, Joseph and Sonia Haikal do not care about your infant, they care about the financial bottom line.
