My son started attending Little minds infant and toddler when he was one. We loved our experience here. From the start when we decided to enroll him the school director was really helpful and answered all the questions we had. My husband and I were nervous since this was the first time our child was going to be away from our care. She reassured us that he was going to be in great care. And he truly was. I'm so grateful for all his teachers that showed him love and patience. My son has learned so much, numbers, shapes, colors and so on. There were time when he would get hurt nothing to crazy little bumps or scratch (wild child of mine) and we would always be told about it. They would send us a text message or tell us at pick up. Occasionally we would get pictures of him in his activities. Those were always nice to see. They provided nutritional food for them he was there for breakfast and lunch. If he was running low in supplies (diapers, wipes) they would send us a text before he ran out. I also really appreciated them making us aware if he would be doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing. Because we got to also work with him at home in correcting those bad behavior so he wouldn't do it anymore. He is now three and it's time for his new adventure at little minds learning center. First off, the director is very rude in how she talks to not just her staff, but the children! While going for a tour with my husband, we approached the school door, before knocking all we could her was her tone, talking down to idk exactly but it was not comforting. You can't even go inside the classrooms to pick up your child. You have to wait outside, all while you can hear kids screaming and teachers not being able to control the children. read more

I was very scared and hesitant going back to work and having to put my babies into daycare but this place is amazing. They are very caring and very patient. It took my boys about a week or two to get use to it but now they love it and run to class. Miss Naomi is very professional and is great at communicating with parents. Miss Virginia is amazing my son loves her! I feel like she was a big part in making him love day care. There is another teacher in the infant class room I have not gotten her name but she is a blonde teacher she is very sweet! She is very caring! My little one loves her! I've also noticed my 2 year old has started talking so much since daycare. He's learned all his colors how to identify and say them. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a daycare. read more

There are far better options available for your child out there. Our experience was not good. The staff was friendly sometimes but mostly very short & my personal opinion is that they are there to do their job and go home, no extra love, no extra effort. When it comes to early childhood development & engagement, there is EXTREMELY LOW effort put in at this place. No activity schedules for sensory learning or ANYTHING were posted anywhere. It was really a SAD place. Here are some incidents that we experienced: I picked up my child one day and noticed hair was tired up excessively tight. NOT OKAY I picked up my child, and there was a dead bed bug attached to our blanket. WHAT IN THE WORLD! Mosquitos everywhere .... I would get bit while signing him in & he would come home with bites. Often. Pest control is there on a bimonthly basis. They need more help. One morning, I heard a "teacher" yelling at a child to get away from her phone now!!!! (SUPER ANGRY) To work in child care, you must have the temperament, a love & true passion for children and a want to protect and serve them in the best way possible. This place is NOT it. I pulled my child out of there as soon as I could. Please note, I brought these things to the directors attention. Side note: When we were looking to tour this place, we ended up at the older kids center down the street on accident. When we walked up to the door, I heard a "teacher" yell at a child, "Get away from my door!!!!" And when she saw me standing at the door, she looked SO SCARED! These places are connected, maybe owned by the same people, not sure. But I also bought this up to this centers director, to which I was told it would be addressed. Finally, this is out of the centers control, but it must be considered. This location is dangerous as vehicles crash into it often. We live around the area and have seen it for ourselves and experienced it during drop-off. The area closest to the street is the infant playground. Scary. Also, please take a drive and look at the house with a connecting fence to the center. No judgment. However, you need to decide for yourself if you are okay with your child being around that environment. read more

My daughter attended Little Minds for about 2 years and I was asked to write a review. Here is my honest opinion about the experience my family and I had: Pros - There wasn't a wait list and my child started right away - Open from 6:30a-6:30p - Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided - Occasionally we received photos of our child - Some of the staff (those that have been working there for years) were professional, friendly, and overall did a great job of caring for my child - The tuition price is reasonable compared to other centers in the area Cons - Writing a check was the only accepted method of payment and caused a lot of inconveniences especially if we were out of town - Staff turnover is high, there were a lot of new people quite frequently and it makes you wonder why people keep leaving - Some of the newer staff members weren't friendly and/or didn't seem qualified for the job but were probably hired to meet the staff/child ratio - Upper management wasn't always responsive, I sent a few emails about concerns I had and never got a reply - Safety and security is an issue here, there were plenty of times that the gate door didn't properly lock or was propped open for anyone to walk in - There were no curriculum schedules posted so you never really knew what your child learned/did each day - The lunch menu was posted but wasn't followed, I was told more than once that it changes everyday so my guess is that it's posted in case a county worker shows up to do an inspection of the facility - My child sometimes came home with minor scratches or bruises but an incident report was usually never written up about it Overall a lot of improvements need to be made at this center for it to really thrive. I would recommend reading reviews, scheduling a school tour, and asking a lot of questions before making a final decision on a child care center. read more

First of the daycare is super clean and highly organized. They make the child what to go to class with the many activities they have planned throughout the day. I've seen so many benefits in my son's development with being dependent on himself. All the teachers seems to care for the kids like they are their own children they put so much effort into feeding them a well balanced breakfast, lunch and snack with lots of fruit and veggies. I would recommend trying the center out for your little one the teachers are the best for caring for your child. They even send you pictures of your little one every once in awhile if it was a rough drop off or is doing something cute as well as all of their ouchies explaining what happened to keep you updated on what is happening. read more

Little Minds Infant Toddler is amazing! Both of my kids started attending this daycare a year ago and I have no complaints! The teachers are warm, loving, and amazing, especially Ms. Ivonne. Whenever I do have any type of concerns, I feel like I am being heard and acknowledged. The Director, Ms. Noemi, is very friendly and accommodating. Both of my kids love going to daycare and ever since they started attending LMIT, I see a big change in their manners and vocabulary. This daycare needs to be investigated! Cases of abuse have been surfacing and they still have no excuse to keep their cameras off. If your child goes here please watch your children closely for signs of abuse. Especially your little children that can not speak yet. The police department has not done anything because they need physical "proof" but best believe there have been more than a couple complaints! Somebody is doing something foul to these children and no serious action is being taken. They keep getting away with this because their defense is that their cameras were "off". I Absolutely LOVE Little Minds Infant Toddler School ! I first enrolled my daughter when she was 4 months old & being a first time mom I was super nervous ! But the staff reassured me that my daughter would love daycare ! Shes been attending LMIT for about 2 years now ! She will be 3 years old this August & it's amazing to see how much LMIT has been apart of our lives ! My daughter has grown to love every single teacher and all of her little friends ! My 2 year old child went to little minds infant toddler for about 10 months. I needed something quick and close to my house. My mom found this place and went to check it out for me. Unfortunately due to my work schedule, I was unable to look around myself. Anyway, I decided to give it a try. Below are 6 reasons why I wouldn't even give this place one star but it wouldn't let me post anything without at least picking one star....... In the 10 months my child attended little minds he would cry often on drop offs and say "no school" in the mornings when I would get him up and ready to go. I kept in mind that this was his very first time attending a daycare and he is probably still adjusting to this new change but after about 6 months he would still get upset about going to little minds. So my 1st reason is in the time he attended little minds they changed the director (who also work with the kids often) at least 3 times. The change in staff faces could of made him uncomfortable because he was finally adjusting to who was already there working with him. When my child left, there was only two staff members left that were there when he started. (Ivonne and Socorro) 2nd reason is I noticed they did not have any cameras on the infant/ toddler side where he was and for me cameras are very important because my child is behind on his speech and can't properly communicate to me if something was to happen to him. Cameras can give me peace of mind if I ever have any questions on what happens when I am not around. So that brings me to my 3rd reason; my child got incident reports of incidents that happened to him that left marks on his body, I would say way too often then it should of been. In the picture below is the worst one (it was worse and bumpy in person) and I still question what really happened? They said a toy fell on him? So if they had cameras they could have proved it to me, right? When I asked why no cameras they said they do not have enough funding. 4th reason is because of Vivian, she was the director when I pulled him out of the daycare, she would watch him alone with other children for his last few hours of the day. On a few occasions not only did I notice but so did my sister and my mother about my child being in a highchair every time they showed up for pick up. He was often in a high chair (and only him) as if she was restraining him from playing with other children or so she wouldn't have to deal with him. I did bring it up to her and she said because he ate or was going to eat a snack, but neither of us ever seen food on the highchair. She talks way too much and always talks over you whenever you have a complaint. She tries to convince you she is going to work on it and fix everything, but that wasn't the case for us. Not only did it get worse but she would complain to me about my child on different occasions saying things like "what didn't he do!", when I asked what he did if she says he was misbehaving. One time she even called me asking to have someone come pick him up saying "she can't handle him anymore" ? Umm what? She said before that they were short staffed at the time and to me sounded like she was overwhelmed and couldn't handle the kids or hours. Yes my child can be a handful, but what 2 year old boy isn't ? That was the last straw for me, I told her how upset I was, I told her I was taking my child out of the daycare and am writing reviews on my horrible experience at this daycare! I told her to have her supervisor call me ASAP! Annnddd that is my 5th reason.............. The owner of this company, who I have never met or spoken to before called me about 10 min after I hung up with her. He was very very rude, first thing out of his mouth was asking if I said I was going to write bad reviews and threatened to kick my child out of the daycare if things didn't change with my child in the next 2 weeks... He didn't want to give me his last name or email address when I asked for it. Then he threatened to get his legal team against me for defamation if I write any bad reviews about his company. He clearly didn't care about my concerns or my child at all. 6th reason...... One morning drop off I was signing my child in and a rat just walked right by my feet!! YUP! A RAT!!! I couldn't believe it! The teacher (Mrs. Ivonne) then seen it after I did and rushed the other children outside to the next classroom.. I then started to notice some rat traps around the outside of the facility so they obviously have a rat problem !! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE TO ANYONE! So even after all of that , I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so I waited to see how my child would do at his new daycare to see if he was the problem but my child has now been at his new daycare for a month and he is doing AMAZING! I can see such a difference in him and his attitude, he runs up to the door every morning and is excited and happy to go to "school". I am beyond happy I moved him!! read more

So my 17month started here a few weeks ago, we came from another daycare that he started at from only being a couple months old so with the change to a new daycare had me so nervous and unsure... but I have to be the first to say they are amazing the staff is so welcoming and they give u so much assurance that your child is safe n will have a fun filled day. They went over the daily curriculum with me and they provide meals, being a mom of three trying to get all there meals together can be a pain so it is a big pulse that my son will be provided with healthy meals and snacks threw out the day. I think it's so awesome they have there different age group play grounds because I know like any other mom how the older kids can be playing n the little ones may get in the way... I have to say Ms.Crystal the new director is such a pleasure to talk to and I fill the love she has to my kids n all the children and staff she is always smiling and has so much good energy, she's so on point with making sure the kids safety is number one just because when it was my first time picking up my kids n she had just started there, she took the proper steps to make sure I was who I said I was n not in any rude way she was very professional about it n I respected her for that because I could have been anyone n other daycares I have been too I was never questioned who I was n to see her take the kids safty first was such a blessing! She also has set up so many fun activities for all age groups and fun little parties for the kids witch is so so awesome... because all the seem so happy with all the arts in crafts they do daily... I bring my one in a half year old son here and I love how much the teachers and director really care about the children. My son knows and sings to new songs and he is well fed and always clean when I pick him up. His teachers are very understanding and friendly! My son has been coming here for a few months now and he is so comfortable when I leave him I feel safe having him there. Crystal is the director and she is AMAZING! She really listens and works hard to get everything in order and she makes sure the parents and teachers are engaging with their children and they have lots of activities and learning crafts for them to do! I'm happy my son is at a preschool I feel he is safe at and being well taken care of while I'm working. I absolutely love this daycare/infant school for my little one. He is now turning 3 years old soon but he has been coming here since he was 4 months old. The teachers here definitely become your family, and I'm so sad to see my son's transfer date fast approaching to the other little minds preschool for bigger kids. My son has learned so so much coming here every week while I'm at work. Cleanliness is a huge deal with this daycare and they stay on top of it all.. They have taught him at a very early age on how to be verbal with the teachers there and to take that home as well. My son learned a few words in sign language so he would better be understood by everyone on what they need. Ms. Ivonne and Ms. Daysi have been the GREATEST teachers for my child. He is so attached to them and believe me it hurts just knowing he will be moving up with the older children. Ms. Blanca has been amazing at assisting the potty training for my son and she is insanely patient lol which I could not ask for more from the staff here. Ms. Naomi who is the administrator at that location is always on top of any question or concern us as parents may have, she is so sweet and makes a point to build that relationship which each parent there. All in all I could go on with every single amazing thing my son has learned here and how much I adore all the staff who are like my own family 3 years later.
