Very good place for a last minute large brunch group. We were a party of 12, and we wanted brunch after the kids finished their soccer games. We were able to walk up to Canopy Road Cafe in Lithia without reservations, and they got 3 tables close to each other (on the patio) without any fuss. To add to it, the waitress was a doll, and the food was served in a very timely manner for the size of the party. The menu is big and full of brunch favorites. It wasn't all junk, either. I had the blackened salmon benedict. Was it the best quality salmon? No. But the hollandaise was tasty, the salmon was a generous portion, the spinach was nicely sauteed, and the poached eggs were appropriately runny. I liked that the standard side options included salad, fruit, and potatoes. There were healthy and unhealthy options, which was great. They have a decent kids menu, and we parents appreciated that the kids were given crayons and could play tic tac toe among themselves while the adults talked. The prices were fairly standard for a small chain brunch restaurant. Not a bargain, but nothing more than you'd expect to pay for a clean and pleasant suburban brunch experience. read more

Was looking for a breakfast spot and found this canopy location. The service was fast and great but not so much the food OR cleanliness of the restaurant. You're able to sit wherever you like and it was my fault for not really looking above the table I sat in. I ordered the pancakes with eggs. The pancake was dry and not tasty, the eggs weren't fully scrambled. Some of it was still uncooked...eeyuckk... anyways while waiting for the check I decided to really look up at the ceiling and seen all the dust accumulated on the lights, it was nasty. LOVE Canopy Road. We have a few breakfast/lunch restaurants in our area. Canopy Road is easily my favorite. They have the best black and blue burger in the area. Love, Love, Love the Cobb salad. Service is always wonderful and friendly. The restaurant itself is open, light, and comfortable. I am not a breakfast eater, but my wife and girls are. They love the breakfasts here. Canopy Road is far better than some more well known places in FishHawk/Lithia and is my go to spot. I like is so much more, I will actually make an issue of not going there with my friends if they want to go somewhere else. Can't say how much I love this place. read more

Decided to go to one of my favorite places for breakfast. I have never had a sub par meal from them until today. I ordered the meat lovers omelette with home fries and 9 grain toast. Visually the omelette looks great but after cutting into it the omelette was sitting in a puddle of grease. The omelette tasted fine but the greasy puddle kind of turned me off. I've had several omelettes from this chain at other locations with no problem. Don't know if I'll be back to this location again. This is a good breakfast or brunch option in Lithia! Came in for a last minute weekday brunch and was seated quickly. The inside is quite small so I imagine it gets pretty busy on weekends. I ordered the Palm Beach Club ($14) on sourdough instead of a ciabatta roll). It was really yummy and had a lot of avocado and bacon which was nice considering a lot of place skimp on that. The fries that came with it were great too, especially with an extra side of the garlic aioli to dip in. My friend went for the BLT Benedict ($15) which she really liked too. Another friend got the Eggs Benedict ($13) and she enjoyed those. Another friend went for the Cafe Smash Burger ($14) and thought it was yummy too, especially with the sweet potato fries on the side (+$1). The only thing that soured the meal a bit was our waitress who rolled her eyes when we asked for some side sauces after she asked if we needed anything else. We also ordered a to-go meal and she never told us it was ready so we were sitting for an extra 15 minutes while it was ready to go. If you're in the fishhawk area, you definitely need to try this place out. Yeah it's small. Yeah it's in a Publix Shopping center. But guess what this place is phenomenal. First things first let's talk about the coffee. I was so surprised at how good their coffee was. It's actually better than first watch. The avocado toast, which was very tasty. The goat cheese, and pico really brought out the flavors. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy which had great flavor. However, I will say the gravy was lacking sausage. The grits were cheesy and gooey and just the way I like them. I highly recommend coming here if you're in the fishhawk area looking for a bite to eat or just passing through great spot. read more

Come get your breakfast on! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Inside is small and can only seat groups of 4. Have a bar area you can sit at as well. Many options from pancakes, omelettes, skillets and more. I had the Beaumont skillet. 3 eggs to order on top of home fries or hash browns. This one also had ham bacon and cheese. Went to the new canopy road, the food was really great and we were pleasantly surprised! They have a vast menu with all kinds of appealing entrees but I chose the most basic omelette, it was really good! I feel like sometimes places don't do omelettes right and I can say that it was the perfect mixture of eggs and filling. I really liked that they don't pre-butter the toast, but rather provide everything you need on the table (creamer, butter, jam, condiments). I also really liked the home fries, perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside - soft in the inside. The only thing I think this place was lacking was the variety of coffee. It seemed them just iced and hot, nothing crazy. It was good and pretty simple but seemed lacking with such an extensive menu. This place has gone down over the years. It used to be our go-to breakfast spot, but ever since they lost access to the outdoor patio seating they've either changed chefs or something but the ambiance and food are no longer that great. On several occasions, some of our food came out cold and had to be sent back and there was no offer to provide fresh hot sides. So now my waffles r piping hot but my bacon and eggs r cold. This last time, my pancakes tasted undercooked so I sent them back and when they were remade I realized they just have a weird raw floury taste to them bc nothing changed. Actually heard about this place on yelp, my go to when I don't know where to eat. My wife and 2 children went on Sunday and we really liked it. Huge portions, great atmosphere, very friendly staff! So I finally made it out to Fishhawk's newest restaurant and I'd like to congratulate the ownership and its staff. All businesses go through growing pains, but Canopy Road Cafe is in a good spot. Personally I liked the BLT Benedict and I thought the hollandaise was very good and the basted eggs were perfect (unlike First Watch, which struggles with eggs and I still like the place). My only comment for improving is about prompt delivery of food from the kitchen as I felt some of the items, while tasty were luke warm. I'll be back for sure and I wish Canopy Road Cafe loads of success. read more
