I was charged $546.93 after being told I required a gum treatment before they could clean my teeth. I agreed because Dr. Saranya Sakthivadivel REFUSED to do my cleaning if the treatment wasn't done first. After the treatment was done the hygienist began scaling but did not finish the cleaning, and polishing was never performed. I was instructed to return in one month to (1) verify whether the gum treatment worked and (2) finish the cleaning at no additional cost. The front office coordinator, Molli Scissel, confirmed this when I checked out. At my follow-up visit, instead of evaluating my gum treatment or finishing the work I already paid for, I was immediately presented with a new $193 bill for another cleaning. I showed my original receipt, and the receptionist AGREED I had already paid until Dr. Saranya Sakthivadivel entered and insisted it was "separate." She refused to proceed unless I paid again, and still did not perform the gum treatment follow-up she was supposed to check. I later filed a BBB complaint, which the office ignored completely. In response documentation, the dentist falsely claimed I used "inappropriate language," which never happened, an attempt to discredit me instead of addressing what actually occurred. I have call logs and voicemail screenshots showing their claims about contacting me were untrue, and that my voicemail was never full. This review is not about disliking a procedure it is about: * being billed for services not rendered, * being told verbally that something would be included only to be charged again, * medical follow-up being skipped, and * false statements made about my behavior. I am pursuing this matter with my bank, the Georgia Board of Dentistry, and the Attorney General. I am also prepared to pursue this matter in small claims court if it is not resolved. This was a deeply unprofessional experience, and future patients should be aware.

I go for my cleaning twice a year and they would give me a small goodie bag after with toothpaste and a toothbrush. Before my scheduled appointment, I get a reminder close to the date and I can check in through my phone. I also usually never have to wait long at all before being seen for my appointment. They are located in a fairly busy area with other businesses right next to and all around it. I've never had a problem finding parking. I like the genuineness and care provided there, and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to go there.

The office is closed and although Google and their website states they're open today. After calling 4 times somebody picks up and says "were in a meeting", no greeting!! I state ok, but I'm outside, I have a 10am appointment, she says okay and then hangs up. I sent a text and tried to call back but no answer. This was the part that made me upset, it was totally unprofessional. Maybe I made a mistake with the date but you can still be courteous when answering the office phone and communicate you'll follow up with me or something. I heard Dr. Buckley is nice but she needs to look at replacing her staff because it's impacting her business. I guess the hunt for a dentist continues. He's gentle (no pain!) and friendly, and plays awesome music - rock, blues, country - instead of the mindless New Age crap you often hear. On the last two visits, I've heard Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, and Bruce Hornsby. (He plays entire albums.) Second and third are Nancy Green and Lori Miller, dental hygienists extraordinaire. I had to be numbed in my mouth and when she gave me my shots, I didnt even feel them. Normally I feel a large pinch, but I didnt feel anything. I would say I have definitely found my dental home.
