What a great lunch spot! My sister and I were in town and decided to stop in for a quick lunch - we were not disappointed. We both ordered the lunch taco special - two tacos with beans & rice for $10. I ordered the barria, and my sister got they carnitas. They were both delicious! The restaurant was pretty empty, but we were there later than the typical lunch rush. I could tell that this is a rather happening place during peak hours. The decor was so pretty and it gave a great vibe.

The best thing I ate were the churros which were subpar to be quite honest. The birria tacos that I ordered were not slow cooked long enough and had no seasoning. The shell was soggy and I could've made them better at home with the trader joe's items. The corn was okay but had kind of a sour taste I am not sure if it was the mayo but it tasted off. The churros were the best but the chocolate sauce tasted weird and so did the whipped cream. Since it was covered in either one or the other it made the experience less than enjoyable. Service was fine and then restaurant looked absolutely amazing inside but the fact that there was only us and two other parties in the whole restaurant on a Sunday says something. Food isnt good.

Since we really enjoyed the meal last time, we decided to have dinner here Friday night. Again, such a great experience & the food was even better this time so they have earned 5 stars from me! Our server was such a sweetheart. She was patient, checked in often without hovering, & handled special requests quickly. We ordered the exact same thing: build your own bowl, beef burrito, & chicken enchiladas all served with mexican rice & pinto beans. Everything was so flavorful, saucy, fresh, & delicious! For under $25 for two, this was a great choice for a fun date night out!

My husband and I were craving Mexican food while we were out and about near the Daytona Speedway and Cantina Louie caught our eye. Located across from the Daytona Speedway, Cantina Louie is at the end of a plaza and behind a Checker's restaurant. It's brightly colored sign is hard to miss and is just the beginning of the pop of colors that await you inside. This large restaurant also has an indoor bar with TV screens that follow the latest race or sports event. Our server was friendly and was able to provide recommendations, but seemed to disappear for a while at some point. For my meal, I opted to try a few different small dishes: a Mulita (think of it as sort of a grill cheese sandwich and fajita that's dancing together), hot surfer chick taco and Gordita (think of it as a puffy taco) - all with chicken - and a side of black beans and rice. The portions are bigger than I expected. My favorite out of the three was the taco as it was the most flavorful. The Gordita fell apart almost immediately (even when eating out of the wrapper) and the main taste was that of the corn tortilla. The Mulita was pretty good - I just couldn't finish it due to the amount of food. I also couldn't finish the rice and beans, but the beans lacked flavor. My husband ordered the steak fajitas and said they were the best steak fajitas that he ever had! So, there were a few snags, but we'll definitely be back to try the other dishes!

We dined here during Jeep Beach and had a great experience. The food was great with huge portions (the largest burrito we've ever seen). The chips and salsa are noteworthy as well. The atmosphere is nice with a well decorated bar area and some unique wall art. Definitely would go back.

Wow! Just had their quesadilla as an appetizer. One of the best I've ever had! Then, I had the avocado enchilada dinner. Wow This place really rocks. I can't speak more highly of it. Luisa was our waitress. What a honey . She did a great job of taking care of us, was friendly, spot on, and our food came really quickly, which is always a plus. Just finishing up now. Can't speak more highly of this place. Our new favorite Daytona Beach restaurant, for sure.

This incredible Mexican restaurant located just outside the track of Daytona international. We had low expectations but wow were we wrong! First off, the place is just straight open COOL! The mural painting, decor, vibe, everything they nailed it. They even tied in NASCAR legends into their legends which I appreciated. The food and drinks (margs) were very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Get the Guacamole! the queso is equally as wonderful. Kids meals are great portions, could easily be shared. Our server Cary M. was an absolute gem. Incredibly personable, helped guide us on selection and was wonderful with our littles. BONUS** Happy hour - bogo house margs and they're GOOD. Not your normal sugary gut rot kind. These are fresh and light! They only thing I regret is that I didn't know about it sooner. WELL DONE!

We stopped here on our way back home from the aquarium. Of the bat when you enter and you get seated, they bring warm delicious tortilla chips and salsa!Let me tell you, we lived in Las Vegas for 5 years and this place, flavor wise is as close to those home tacos you get there. Customer Service was amazing, the food taste absolutely delicious! The Birria Tacos, The Al Pastor tacos were flavorful. We had an Horchata and it was by far the most flavorful Horchata I have had, We also had a Mexican Coca Cola and Jarritos for the kids!!! I do recommend! Visit this place if you want that Mexican authentic flavor!

I will forever think of the Spicy Shredded Chicken Tamales when I think of Cantina Louie and until these become part of the everyday menu I will only be a participant on Sundays, these chicken tamales are food for the Gods so I completely understand that they are only available on the Sabbath although I disagree - I can state with confidence that this is their signature dish even without having tried every dish on the menu and it pains me to reveal this information because I know there will be more competition to score this limited menu item. I really enjoyed this restaurant, the setting was unexpected as are most of the newer restaurants that seem to jockey for position near the Daytona Speedway. I found it odd that I easily found parking directly in front of the entrance and only after I entered did I realize the restaurant was nowhere near capacity so I'd expect parking to be a little more of a challenge on a day when an event would be on the schedule at the speedway, so this turned out to be a perfectly timed visit. The staff here was extremely accommodating our server according to the receipt was server #4 being we were seated a table #28 I honestly missed her name but she was a gem, very out-going and professional. She was a happy person who didn't mind making recommendations and sharing her personal favorites and the chicken tamale was definitely part of her favorites. We decided to order à la carte and also an order of their skirt steak fajitas to get a flavor of what's coming out of the kitchen. The complimentary chips and salsa were plentiful and delicious the original salsa had a beautiful texture and a spiciness that finished well, we also requested a taste of something a little hotter and the habanero version provided all of that and more. We also decided to try the Queso which was equally delicious and so rich and creamy. I can recommend the Surf and Turf street taco which was pretty good but honestly a little on the salty side (I noticed others have commented on the saltiness as well on certain dishes), the Americano street taco was a little bland for my taste and was mediocre at best and finally the fajitas was more about the veggies than meat for sure and if you order this I hope you love tomatoes because they cover the steaming hot platter and the steak portion seemed more like an afterthought, somewhat flavorful but also a little underwhelming. You may find me here on any given Sunday getting my fill of the chicken tamales and an ice cold Dos Equis or two...

    Mango Margarita- Frozen
    Mariah B.

Cantina Louie is one of my favorite Taco Tuesday spots in Daytona Beach. Their tacos are $2.99, and margaritas are $5.99 making it so easy to have an affordable meal and enjoy the good vibes in the restaurant. The decor makes the restaurant feel cozy, with mural walls, bright paint, plants and unique Mexican art that also touches Daytona Beach too. I've experienced quick and kind service while seated inside, out, and at the bar before. On to the FOOD! I found my favorite go-to tacos: surf & turf, chimi chimi bang bang, and sriracha shrimp tacos. I usually always enjoy a frozen margarita which are the perfect addition to their meals. Maggie is one of my favorite servers, but the whole team is amazing and one of the nicest restaurant establishments in the area in terms of service.

This is the new one in daytona. Been to the one in jax and Neptune beach. This one just opened up in daytona. Good food and good location by the track. Wish I would have gone on the weekend because the tamales are fantastic but available only on the weekend We both ordered 3 item combo plate. Soft shelled taco enchiladas and beans and rice. Fast service and food was hot. Margarita for candyce and she said the bartender didnt skimp on the tequila. Good margarita. I had a negra modelo. Great beer with dinner We'll be back. At anyone of them. They are good and good selection on the menu

Very pretty restaurant with excellent chicken enchiladas and tacos. Got more than I could finish with the pick 2 combo--refried beans and Mexican rice delicious, too! Awesome service. Loved the chips & salsa.

    Burrito Supreme with pulled chicken
    steve e.

Service was excellent, I had lunch on Sunday at 12:30 and was able to get in and served in a very timely manor. I had the Burrito Supreme, with pulled chicken, very tasty and HUGE. I just wish it had been a bit more spicy for my taste. I am sure they have more heat upon request. My server was spot on and timely with my chips and salsa as soon as I sat down, took my drink order and got it to me quickly and offered suggestions of items on the menu. Good value for the dollar. They did a good job spacing out the customers and I didn't feel threatened with other patrons sitting to close, excellent job social distancing. As soon as a table would become vacant, they were clear it and sanitize it for the next patron. All the employees were wearing mask

I love a good coconut marg, and theirs was $14. I had no idea what was about to come my way but it was HUGE!!!!! My husband ordered steak and it had to be sent back for undercooking, but otherwise, it was a really good meal. The service was not responsive. Had to ask for chips, drink refills, and waited a good bit to see the server to tell her to take the steak back to be cooked again. The chips and salsa were tasty, and with as large of a table as we had, they refreshed them for us, which was great.
