Cafe Con Leche -- ABSOLUTE WOW Okay... this place is AWESOME. Like already thinking about when I can go back awesome. I had the chorizo tacos....bold, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and honestly mouth-watering. He ordered the burrito, which came with crispy home fries, and we added a side of rice and beans to share (which was 100% the right call). Then came the pièce de résistance... Banana tres leches Holy. Smokes. Melt-in-your-mouth, not-too-sweet, rich without being heavy. The kind of dessert where conversation pauses because everyone is busy having a moment. The vibe: Not fancy. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the magic happens. The people are so kind, the food comes out with love, and it feels authentic in the best possible way. Bottom line: Comforting, flavorful, crave-worthy food made by genuinely nice people. I'm already craving it again... and that says everything. This is the kind of place you tell your friends about...then bring them with you next time.

We loved this little place really enjoyed all the food. It was fresh and hot and very reasonably priced also. I would recommend it without compunction.

Our favorite place! We come at least once sometimes twice a week. We love the food. Patty and Daniel are so kind and caring they are always so welcoming. The food and service is 10/10! If you haven't tried this place it's a must! I haven't had a single thing I didn't like!!!

Holy schmoly this place is great! We found this little place on Yelp and I am so glad we did. As soon as we walked up the smell would captivate you. The empanadas are amazing, the Cubans are the nuts, and the iced coffee is to die for! Try it, you'll thank me!

The food here is fantastic. The prices are great. I wanted to try so many things. The breakfast tacos were my favorite but we loved everything.

Little out of the way unassuming restaurant. According to ChatGPT, the best Cubano sandwich in the Daytona Beach area. We arrived around 4:30 and was greeted with very friendly service. Took our order, we both ordered the Cubano, and we had a seat inside waiting for our order. Took about 10-15 minutes and both the sandwich and fries were fresh and delicious. Tried the roast pork by itself and it was very flavorful. Not much to this little place outside of great service with a delicious Cuban sandwich. If you're in the Daytona area, stop by for good food and friendly service.

Came here for lunch while in the area. It's a casual restaurant -lots of locals which is a good sign. You order at the cashier's and they bring out your food. We ordered the fried pork chunks (masitas) and tacos - al pastor and carnitas. The masitas was over fried - very crispy on the outside. Flavor was ok. Tacos had a lot of cilantro and onions. Flavor was good. Nothing really stood out. It wasn't bad but it didn't hit me with a Wow! This is fantastic kinda feeling. Not sure it's worth a return visit for me.

I was nervous to get enough time to eat and it worked out perfectly. I had even asked for a to go container and didn't need it. The food was so good and the Horchata, heavenly!!! They not just take pride in the food and service but the decor and ambiance so endearing. So sweet and took us to a little Mexican Restor'an, right here in Daytona. The space is much larger than I thought and the bar area looked like a nice place to meet friends and enjoy the food, drinks & service. The gentleman who took care of us, was so precious and intent on us being happy. I have to also say the menu is amazing and we will be back to try it all... We arrived in good time, as we watched it fill up with others who knew how wonderful it is there... Plenty of parking and would be a great space to have a party!!! The service is excellent and the employees are very friendly. My one complaint still stands. They make you now buy bottles of water instead of just giving you a glass of tap water. I think that's very unfair because people who eat here sometimes have to save a little bit of money. So sometimes they don't buy drinks because drinks could add 30% or more to your bill. This is the only place I know where they won't give you a glass of tap water because they want to make money off of everything. That aside I love the food here and will obviously continue to eat here but I won't buy drinks here for that specific reason. To me it takes away from the Integrity of a restaurant that will not offer tap water but make you buy bottled water. If I buy a bottle of their tap water for a buck 50 I can go next door to perrine's and buy a whole case for four bucks.

Another table came in, got drinks and had to wait to have their order taken because waitress went out back door for about 10 minutes to be on phone. Wanted tamales originally and was told they wouldn't be ready until the evening. Then the bills came. Put my friend's meal on my credit card when she gave her cash for her meal and took her forever to get her change. Worst service ever and will never ever eat there again. Will return to Dahlia's on Dunlawton where you get 1/2 price tacos and includes your unlimited chips and salsa and depending on what tacos you order it includes your rice and or beans. I could have gotten 3 lunches at Dahlia's compared to the crappie one meal to eat in and one meal to take out. Can't understand how they have been open so long. I wish there was a negative number below 1 to rate that place.

It is conveniently located on Ridgewood Avenue close to the intersection of Ridgewood Avenue and Dunlawton Avenue. I guess that one would not expect good Mexican food slung out of a side window of a gas station, but the food here is pretty good and the price for most of the items is pretty good, though a single taco is a bit gigh at around three dollars ($2.99 to be exact). While the price is decent, the taco was a bit light on the meat and I believe that it was an additional dollar to upgrade to carne asada. I had a chimichanga, which was the daily special. The chimichanga itself wasn't bad, but the rice and beans were terrible. I could swear the black beans the chimichanga came with was straight out of a can. Their sauces and salsa were mediocre, as well. The service was friendly and they had a few outside tables to enjoy your meal. All in all, not a bad meal. However, it was nothing spectacular, either.
