Must try! This restaurant is tucked away in a quaint little town and was absolutely fantastic. Live music, free tequila shots and delicious food. I would we weren't just visiting so I could be a regular!

The restaurant was beautiful. Loved the woodsy decore. They had margaritas to die for with all kinds of flavors. I went for the jalapeño that had the perfect spice. The poblano egg rolls were piping hot (beware) and the perfect amount for our party of three. We did have a bit of a wait because the waitress didn't know we were assigned to her. She made up for that will great service. The only drawback was just before our food arrived, there was a bad smell of burnt plastic coming into the dining room. It was bad enough that when my son's tacos came out, he could barely eat one and felt bad the rest of the evening. I did notify the waitress and I heard it being discussed by the bar. I'm sure it's a one time thing. My food was excellent and I got over the smell when the front entrance door closed. I don't know if the smell was coming from outside or the kitchen.

Omg, where should I start? Ok the drinks, on point! The salsa, guac, and queso, also on point! The tinga chicken and flank steak, as a bowl, tacos, or burrito, you can't go wrong! Service was fast! And food came out even faster! You gotta go to this place in the little town of Green Mountain Falls. Beautiful old building with original timbers inside.

We found this place by accident and were very happy we did! Amazing tacos and salsa! It is a cool old building on a quiet street. It has a very relaxing vibe inside and an amazing view from the rooftop patio. The staff is very friendly. Chips and house made salsa are complimentary. They have various heat levels of salsa by request. The taco plates were large portions and easily shareable, making it a good value.

With the roof top patio full, we still enjoyed a delicious meal inside their beautiful dining area! The ambiance was perfect, calming, cozy and yet upscale. Would be perfect for a date night! The service was great! Friendly and timely and paid attention to water refills etc The food did not take long to be made and tasted delicious! We had a wonderful first experience!

My husband took me to Cantina Verde for Valentine's dinner. Their prime rib special was fabulous. Huge portions, perfectly cooked and delicious! Chef Molly does a great job. So check them out for not just Southwest cuisine. All their specials great!

My husband and I have wanted to try this place since it opened. We live in WP and had friends from the Springs to join us. I made a reservation for the rooftop not sure if you have to but I was guaranteed a table. The staff is very friendly. Homemade tortilla chips and house salsa are brought to our table complementary. They make everything in house which we love. You cannot get any better than that . We ordered drinks and a salsa flight. You can choose from 3 out of 5. We chose Verde, a cream sauce. So good! Pineapple was also a favorite. The tomatillo did not have much flavor. You can also choose from the house that comes with your chips and it's really good then a spicy salsa. We all order the stacked enchiladas per the owner recommendation. We each ordered a different one. The rice and beans were fresh not sticky. It was all very good. I hope our waitress gets paid more than the other servers since she is running up and down the stairs all night. We all loved the food and service. Cannot wait to go back and try something different. Stop by and Enjoy!

Lovely rooftop with peaceful views, friendly staff, great jalapeño margarita, and decent steak tacos! Perfect place to have lunch after hiking all morning. Dog friendly, too!

We were immediately greeted by friendly staff, who seated us promptly and gave us 2 generous baskets of chips along with 2 types of salsas. A crispy relleno is what I order at all Mexican restaurants to gauge how much I like the food, and this place didn't disappoint! One of the best rellenos I've had, and the green chili was fantastic. The rest of the party was very happy with their meals, as well, which included shrimp Enchiladas, tacos, combos, and nachos. All fresh, authentic, and delicious! And even the kids hamburger was a nice, thick patty with lettuce and tomato. Our party also had the house marg and the Sanchez, and both were well-balanced and not over-priced. Highly recommend! On top of it all, Santiago, our server, was so amazing. Friendly, very attentive, and patient with us all as we practiced our Spanish. Couldn't have asked for a better Mexican restaurant.

For two people, ordered a set of 3 tacos (2x barbacoa and carnitas) and then another 3 tacos (asada, carnitas, and pastor), birria egg rolls, and a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. Not a big deal but they put all the tacos in one box and I was able to differentiate which 3 tacos that I ordered. This place is super stingy with salsa. They gave me 2 tiny containers for salsa and then when I asked for a couple more, the lady said she could only give me two more. :( Excited to try the food and started off great with a simple bean, cheese, and rice burrito but outside of that everything else was very meh. Not sure how but all the meats were so dry, I ordered braised/slow cooked meats (barbacoa and carnitas). Asada and pastor were okay as well. Everything lacked seasoning and the salsa didn't add much to the tacos either. Birria tacos were also dry and consommé needed salt to be added. Value was not bad at $37.64. Tacos were about $3-3.20 per

With that said, Tommy's is legit! Super festive exterior and interior. The restaurant itself is very tiny, seating about 20. Super super clean. Selection of bottled and canned sodas and juices. A salsa bar. Tommy and the gal working there were over the top nice. He is really taking pride in his shop and the food he serves. Now the food... quite possibly the best California Burrito I've had in Colorado! No joke. It was just right. The carne asada had a little char on it. The burrito was made with fries (i.e. the proper way), adding another layer of texture. And for $12 it's a couple bucks cheaper than most comparable places in town. All of the salsas were excellent. A variety of red and green salsas. They all had a decent amount of heat. The creamy avocado salsa was perfect on my California Burrito. My friend had the fish taco plate (2 tacos, rice & brace). While I was savoring every bite he wolfed everything down. He said it was excellent. I will definitely be back! I've already been telling friends about it.

I placed an order for rolled tacos, an Arizona burrito, and the 3 mini taco plate with adobada, carnitas, and pollo. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! I didn't try the rolled tacos but was told they were good. The Arizona burrito (California burrito but with sour cream instead of guac) was super good. Tortilla was nice, carne asada was good and tender, well balanced. The 3 mini tacos all came with some grilled up onions and a charred pepper.. my favorite taco was the adobada for sure. Tons of flavor! The pollo was a close second, very well seasoned meat and well cooked. The carnitas was my least favorite and it was still pretty good. I'm used to more shredded pork carnitas and this was more chunks of pork, but nice and crispy. The rice and beans that came with the taco plate were very good. I tried every salsa in the salsa bar only cause I've never been there before and wanted to try them all. I don't know the names of them but their green and a thick creamy green were both my favorite, and I'm normally a red guy. There was a chunky red (with some hatch maybe?) that was also good. But the other 3-4 were also still good! I would 100% go to Tommy's again. I hope they get some more business too so they stick around because the folks were nice and the food was great.

That should have given me a clue as to the heat temperature! I couldn't finish my meal as it was too spicy for me. The sweetness of the honey helped to soothe the sting. This location is in a strip mall and they have done a very nice job of decorating it. It looks clean and well maintained. You will need to order at the counter and then they will bring your meal out to your table. It seems to make sense that you would offer meals for all people, even ones like me that cannot manage the spice. I have to give them a lower rating only due to the fact that I know I won't be able to go back since they don't have a non-spicy option for their meals.
