Wife and I Decided to venture into This place for the first time since I haven't had a manicure for the longest time. I really look forward to the hand massages that conclude the handiwork on the nails. They did trim the cuticles, they did sand my nails, they did use the hand warmers to losses the cuticles, but the part that was lacking was a weak massage. I prefer a man to really work my hands because I use them for working In The kitchen. The muscles between the thumb and the forefinger is my favorite part to Massage. Very bad experience! My daughter and I had an appointment at the same time, there was only one other client there with employees sitting around and they started an hour late for her. The man that did my nails made the skin around 6 of my nails get all torn up because he was so rough with them, they still hurt 4 days later. I had gel powder and he didn't cover the entire nail on most of my fingers. So most of my nails have 1/5 of the nail on the side empty. He also didnt use the drill under the nails when he was done to remove excess from the process. There was music on in the background and 1 tv was on a basketball game. It was very awkward. Absolutely wonderful! I used to drive to Alpharetta to see Kim's sister, who recently sold her business. She suggested I come see Kim and thank goodness, because Kim was wonderful! Terrible experience getting S&S done. And removing acrylic he soaked me accidentally in alcohol for 30 min before realizing it wasn't acetone. Therefore I then soaked in acetone for another 30+ mins. Very rough removing acrylic damaging cuticles. The acetone & alcohol caused the skin on my fingers to dry up and peel off. A week later the S&S started cracking and falling off my nails. 5 nails I had to cut all the way down due to this. I went into the Salon and spoke with Kim & showed her & explained what he had done. Although she knew, she was working that day. I said to her I had beautiful nails when I came in here, no I will go somewhere and have them done correctly. She said to me, why you go somewhere else ? I just moved to the area and needed to find a new go-to nail salon. I tried Canton Nail Care & Spa four days ago and am extremely unhappy with the experience and the results. First, the staff was not welcoming or friendly. Second, the woman who did my dip powder rushed through the process and didn't seem to know what she was doing. I've been getting SNS/dip for years and her process was very different and didn't seem right. They looked decent right after, but a bit messy around the cuticles. Now, after four days, my nails look terrible. They're peeling and cracking, not shiny...something that never ever happened when I went to my last salon. Typically, I can go 3-4 weeks and they still look new. I paid $86 (including tip) for dip and a pedicure. For $86, I should be very happy with the results. I will NOT be going back to this salon. Unfortunately I just got this pedicure and now I'm looking around to get Another pedicure because my feet, toes, and cuticles don't look ant better. The lady that did my toes was very nice, the place is newer and clean but after she barely used the exfoliator at all. I showed her that my toes still looked rough. (She had spend seconds on them so I thought she would look at them and make them smoother) but instead she Said If she did anymore they would be raw and moved on to painting them. Since my cuticles and dead skin was hardly touched my feet don't look any better than they did going in. I hate leaving a bad review but I feel like after I showed her what I wasn't satisfied with how they looked that shouldn't have been ignored. If I could give them a 0 I would. I tried this place out twice when I used to live in the area. Both times I went I ended up bleeding because whoever did my nails didn't know how to properly cut cuticles. One the they even accidentally stabbed my finger with scissors. It didn't cut me terribly, but it still hurt/bled. They also didn't look great either. read more

I have been going to Canton Nails and Spa for three years. I have always been happy with the services. All the staff are friendly and kind. They do an amazing job on my nails and the pedicures are so relaxing. I have tried other nail salons but always go back to Canton Nails and Spa. The prices are reasonable and well worth it. I enjoyed that it wasn't crowded and no wait both times I came in. Looks clean and well organized. First time, pedicure was great but SNS nails were a big disappointment - the nail tech did her best but the nail tips (colored French) looked very sloppy and the top coat began to peel badly ~10 days later. Bad top coat! Second time, just got a pedicure and thought she did a good job despite the polish looking a bit unprofessional/not as "clean looking" as it should. Next morning, one of my toes is now extremely painful. I think she cut it too short, at least I hope that's all. It hurts so bad!! I will not be back. read more

Been twice. Both times were good experiences. A little pricey but clean. They use bags to cover the tub for pedicures which is what I was looking for and the tools they use are in the sterile pouches. The studio looks clean and well taken care of. read more

I sent a guest we had staying in town with us over to have a pedicure. I'd been back a couple times myself after they reopened after covid and they were short-staffed. Since it had been a month or two I thought they might be back to regular staffing. My friend called and they said to come on in and went in around closing for her pedicure so she was one of the last clients. She said the guy doing her feet was a bit rough and seemed rushed she figured so he could get out quicker. Normally she said she has a really high tolerance for pain but this guy was really hurting her when he was pushing back her cuticles and cut her twice when he was cutting the cuticle skin away. When she said something he essentially continued and it didn't get much better. I felt terrible that I even went her there after she told me that story when she made it back to our house. Needless to say I won't be sending anyone there again nor will we be back. The last couple of times my husband and I went felt very rushed and they didn't do a very good job and while I chalked it off to being short staffed when we are spending almost $100 bucks on 2 pedi's i'd like for it to feel like a relaxing experience. read more

I cannot rave about this salon enough! My friend and I were walk ins and were politely greeted by a receptionist. We understandably had to wait a few minutes, but they have a comfortable seating area complete with snacks and drinks. Terry did an amazing job on my nails. I also loved that he sat my friend and I at the same table during our manicures. This doesn't usually happen, and it was a great bonus! They really care about their customers and it shows! In a time where we all want to support small businesses, I urge you to find a different small business to support. This salon was my go to for pedicures and brows but I can no longer support their terrible business ethics. I received a gift certificate for Christmas 2019; it expired 6/21/20 but as we all know COVID hit in February and businesses were closed and customers were cautious of "elective" services. I went in August 28 and they refused to honor it. Kim said "maybe we could do half". Wow! I'm pretty sure that money my husband spent on the gift certificate went straight into their account and they spent it... June 21 didn't magically change that. My little sister came here to get her nails done. That wasn't accomplished. They made her upset because they sanded too far down making her nail bed and also her cuticles bleed. Then they had the audacity to tell her to come back on three different occasions because they were unable to fix decorations on her nails. They just don't know what they're doing. I've tried to give this place so many tries and I come out disappointed every single time. The last time I went they came out bumpy, uneven and overall noticeably botched. I also picked the SNS color I did because it had a matching nail polish for my toes and they ended up painting my toes a completely different shade of pink than my SNS. This was my first experience at Canton Nails and it was not a good one. To begin, I had a 1:30 appt time for my daugher and after 30 minutes of waiting, I asked someone if they would get started soon. She was then seated in a chair and sat another 10 minutes with her feet in water before someone finally began. They were not very busy at the time but seemed to be short on staff. The mani/pedi took a painfully long time and wasn't done very well. Upon completion, I waited another 5 minutes at the front desk for someone to come and take payment. At that time, I noticed a sign indicating they do not take tips on credit cards. All tips must be in cash or venmo'd to individual employees. The sign included employees names with their accompanying venmo numbers. I have been to many different nail salons over the years and have never encountered this. When asked about it, the person taking my payment said they do this so the salon doesn't have to pay taxes on their employees tips. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I am very aware that the establishment does not pay taxes on their employees tips. Employees are individually taxed on the tips they claim. When I said this to her, she then acknowledged that they do it this way so each employee can keep all their tips. Last I checked, this was called tax evasion! I won't be returning and definitely don't want to support an establishment such as this one! Save your money and go elsewhere! read more
