Lee is wonderful. She takes her time to make sure you are happy and satisfied. Her husband rushes and does piss poor quality work now.

My go to nail salon. They always take care of me and my little girl. Great place and fairly priced.

I live in Los Angeles, the land of…read moremovie stars and the fanciest salons on the planet, and I still come home and reshape or repaint my nails. When visiting my family, I usually stay long enough to need to get my nails done. No matter where my sister has taken me, regardless of how nice the salon technicians may be, I am never satisfied with the sub par work they do on my nails. My sister and I walked into Essence Nails a couple of years ago before they were under new ownership and they were so nasty to us, we walked out furious before they even finished our nails. I vowed NEVER to step foot in their establishment again, but my sister informed me that they now had new owners who were great so, I decided to give them a shot even though I usually get a lot more stuff done than my sister does. (And she isn't as picky). I am so glad I did! Hana and Tony are super sweet and fantastic nail techs. Hana did a great job on my powder gel nails and Tony gave me one of the best pedicures I have ever had. I highly recommend making an appointment ahead of time because they are the only technicians there. The fact that I left the salon actually happy with absolutely NO complaints says a lot about the quality of service I received, because as I stated before, I am picky AF about my nails. Whenever I come back to Marietta, I will only let Hana and Tony do my nails.

After the pedicure was already started, I found out that fills are by appointment only. How do I know that I would have scheduled both for the next day . so I got my pedicure and made an appointment for a fill for tomorrow. i took my socks off and three toenails no longer have polish on the same day... they literally came off fully like it was peeled off. Very disappointed to spend $84 and not have three toenails polished just several hours later and no real foot massage. It will say, though, Tony and HANNA have the most awesome personalities. I definitely don't think the pedicure was worth that money.

This is a follow up review to the review I left on GOOGLE reviews under the name Daise…read more Unfortunately, Google only allows you to write one review per business. And I have had 2 terrible experiences there! This review is to warn future clients how this business treats new clients; with or without diabetes, recent breast cancer survivors, or people with autoautoimmune related diseases. My husband and I went for pedicures on 8/21/2026. I scheduled my appointment at 4:30 with Susan (the owner), after previously showing her pictures and my receipt from my first visit. We arrived at 4:20 PM. I told Susan I didn't mind waiting for her to finish with her current client. Her husband showed us to our chairs, and a tech started my husband's deluxe pedicure right away. He ended up with cuts on his toes. And one point, she was punching his legs. After 15 minutes, Susan came over and said an "experienced" tech would do my gel pedicure instead of her because she didn't have enough time. When the tech sat down, I proudly shared that I had just celebrated 38 years with Type 1 Diabetes and I was treated for breast cancer Jan-Dec 2025. I always tell technicians this so they know to be extra cautious. I explained to her that I could not get a deluxe pedicure that day because I had just gotten a breast cancer ribbon tattoo on my ankle 10 days prior. So, I paid extra to have the gel pedicure done instead. She barely cut my cuticles & didn't use a hot towel or even massage my other leg. Not exactly what a gel pedicure should be. Unfortunately, this technician kept getting white polish on the skin under my big toenails. I kindly asked her several times to remove just the white polish from the skin, explaining everything else looked great. Because of a language barrier, communication was difficult. She only needed to use polish remover on a brush, but after the third time of her using a sharp tool scraping and pushing really hard into the skin under my toenails, I called over an English-speaking technician for help. Instead of helping, the second technician hastily stripped all the white polish off every single toenail. She was incredibly harsh, clipping the skin around my toenails, and she punctured the skin on the corners of both big toes. When she walked away, I asked the first lady to put an ointment like Neosporin on the large scratch, so that area wouldn't get infected. The two technicians looked at me across the room and laughed before the first nail tech came back with the ointment. She then tore off a piece of a cotton ball and used that with a sharp nail tool to push the ointment deeply into my broken skin. It hurt so badly that I began to cry and asked her to please stop. She stopped using the tool and immediately dug the tip of her thumbnail through the cotton as deeply into the cut as she could. She kept pressing hard into the open skin while smiling at me until I pulled my foot away. The marks from her fingernail going into my toe are clearly visible in my photos. The big cut on my right toe still has not healed. I was crying heavily and told her she was done hurting me. The owner's husband glared at me the entire time I was crying and never once asked what was wrong or even offered to help me. As I paid him, that same woman ran up to me and tightly wrapped a bandage around my right big toe and handed me a small tub of the ointment she used. She told me to take that home: Mentholatum Ointment. She told me to apply this 4 to 5 times a day and keep it tightly bandaged. The next day, after applying it twice and experiencing a terrible burning sensation, I looked up the product on Google. Mentholatum is used for chest congestion, cough suppression, and muscle relief. Using it on broken skin causes severe irritation and chemical burns. By pushing Mentholatum into an open cut and sealing it tightly with a bandage, she trapped camphor and menthol inside the tissue, forcing rapid absorption into raw flesh. This is incredibly dangerous for anyone, but especially for a diabetic where foot injuries can lead to severe complications. The pictures that were taken after I returned home 8/22/2026, the following morning , and on 9/24/2026 show the exact damage to both of my big toes. You can actually see where the tech drove her nail into the corner of my right toe. There was white polish on the skin under every single toenail. This is the WORST pedicure I have ever had!! A pedicure should never, ever hurt! I will never return to this establishment and I STRONGLY warn others to stay away.

However this morning I was in a pinch and needed to get a quick manicure before flying out to a wedding. My nails were decently short to begin with but the white tips were showing. I was never asked about shape, or anything really. Next thing I know she's putting the finishing gloss on and this was the finished product. Filed down so short and bulbous. The polish doesn't even cover the sides of the nail in some cases. I was on a phone call while checking out but called the manager as soon as I could to explain the situation. I sent photos and he tried to convince me there was no issue. So when I explained the issues, which to me were obvious... he came up with two solutions. 1) I go back in and they try to fix them. How? There is no more shaping because you've filed them down to nubs. 2) he offered 20% off the next time I come in. Come again??! There won't be a next time. Had they simply refunded the $50 I grossly overpaid for a crappy manicure, this review would not exist.

Get ready to spend at least $100plus on nails that others would be at least 20% cheaper. They have a nice aesthetic and seems clean enough... just way overpriced Also when I asked about pricing and a breakdown it was almost like I was being a nuisance for asking questions on why they charge what they charge. I didn't like that feeling. I want to know what I'm spending on not just getting charged for arbitrary add ons for nails that last 3 weeks
