Great staff and for a medium size selection everything is pretty good. I mean Montana isn't known for Chinese buffets but with traveling throughout Montana and with having a buffet option it's worth the money. It's definitely in the top 5 Chinese buffets within Montana. read more

We eat here sometimes, buffet usually and its okay, nothing to write home about. Once in awhile we order off the menu and for the most part the food is fresh and hot. Tonight not so much, cold old food. I am rather pissed, $40 worth of food in the trash. read more

I honestly don't like the majority of the food here and its pretty disappointing cause I usually LOVE Chinese food and this is the only place in town sadly. Thus far the only dishes I can say I enjoy out of what Ive tried are the beef and broccoli and the orange chicken. The chow main was horrible to me. The noodles were soggy and slimy and had a funky taste to them. I didnt care for the fried rice though I admit that one is due to personal taste as I dont like crab in my fried rice. The last 3 times that we've gone to Canton's, it's just been bad. Hardly any flavor to the sweet & sour sauce, Orange chicken, general's chicken. Egg drop soup was chunky. These three visits were within about a six-month period. We figured it would've gotten better. It did not. It got worse each time. This last visit, the waiter didn't check on us, didn't ask if we needed more water, nothing. He barely made eye contact. We won't ever eat here again. read more

The only reason I'm not giving four stars is because of the small number of items on the buffet for the $10.95 price but other than that it was great. Clean, fresh food, and a good staff I say fresh food because all the food on the buffet seamed to be lacking that frozen, bagged taste that a lot of asian buffets seam to have. This kinda made up for the lack of selections. Over all I was surprised to say the least, I went in expecting the worst and walked out wanting more so I guess if I'm ever in the little town of Havre Montana again, I'll go back. read more

The rest of it is uninspiring and average to below average standard Chinese restaurant fare you can find in any small town in America. Restaurant staff is friendly, but the restaurant itself doesn't feel clean. Buffet is decent, not great. Walnut shrimp is OK. Cashew chicken is below average. Chicken or beef and broccoli is OK. I am from a large city and have had access to the best Chinese food. I now live in a small town on the Montana Hi-line and getting even half way decent food is a treat. I was in Havre and tried the Canton, as I love Chinese. It was so good I ordered a bunch to take home to my hubby, we live 2 1/2 hours away. Needless to say, he loved it and now every time one of us is in the area we bring food home. read more

I have eaten the buffet three times and all three times I have thrown up afterwards. The food did not taste bad but did not set well in my stomach and was very greasy and salty. I would not recommend the buffet at all. My service was very terrible every time I have been in with the wait staff assuming you would have the buffet and acting very upset at you and refusing to bring chop sticks when you wanted to order off the menu. At this point you may be asking why I gave them three stars. The terrible buffet and terrible service could not cancel out my love for some of the menu item foods at Canton's. The Almond Chicken is the best I have ever had and I have eaten Chinese food in five different countries and over 40 US states. The BBQ pork and the pork chow mein are delicious as well. Even though I have had terrible service and thrown up on several occasions after eating there I will still continue to go back as long as the Almond Chicken recipe does not change. read more
