I called back around 3 pm and the lady said the man UV light broke that he was waiting on another one to come and waiting on a part... not in 10 minutes go by and the man calls to say I would have to pay $2,000 for a part and 1,000 for labor. He never said anything about a leak, moisture etc... I picked my car up and he charged me $95 for the dye and Freon and then I took it to Toyota where I purchased the car and they tested that there was no Freon in the car or dye detected anywhere and there was no leak or moisture. Today when my father went back and asked the cardonas what's the deal he said well I put in the Freon and dye in for free. completely incompetent service department and management. i…read moredrove my truck in for service and was told that the problem was too complicated and that their mechanic and service department were uncomfortable to even diagnose the vehicle. i was told that i would need to have my vehicle towed in-order to pick it up , after i had driven it there. they said they had to push it into the service bay. i told them i drove it in wtf ? i had them bring me a jump box and i started it and drove if off the lot. they were too stupid to check the battery , boost start it , and complete a diagnostic. and the branch manager is too incompetent to manage the mechanics and service department and still says that a completely stock truck that i purchased factory re-certified is too complicated and that its somehow ok that their manufacture certified service department is too "uncomfortable" to jump the battery on a completely stock vehicle and diagnose a different issue , after i drove it onto the lot. and they charged me $730 to do absolutely nothing incompetence , theft by deception , false advertisement of having manufacture certified service , negligence , and absolute zero accountability. things were stolen out of my truck including tools - and that makes zero sense because they dont know how to use tools to do so little as jump a battery. the manager and the service department are thieves and liars . if you are capable of jumpstarting a vehicle you are more qualified to work on vehicles than this dealer is , what a frickin joke . wtf

There were no pushy salesmen running around hassling my son and I as we looked around. To me this made the environment extremely welcoming... I was not even planning on purchasing a vehicle that day. I was hanging out with me 9 year old son, running some errands, and we had stopped by the dealership to ask their service department a few questions. The gentleman that helped us out at the service desk was extremely helpful. I wish I could remember his name but I'm sad to say that it has slipped my mind. Nonetheless, the service I received was nothing less than outstanding. All my questions were answered and I left there with a print out of part numbers and other locations of where I could find these items when I was ready to make my purchases. I wasn't hassled to make my purchases there or told that I could find the parts anywhere else. I only received awesome customer service and we were even offered cold beverages. As we were walking back to our car, my son and I noticed a truck that caught our eye and we decided to go have a look at it. It was a used F150 FX4 and it looked pretty great from the outside. I asked my son if he wanted to see the inside and, of course, he said yes. So I went back inside the dealership to find someone to help us out, as there were no salesmen outside on the lot as I had mentioned before. When I went inside I told the first person I ran into that I was interested in seeing the truck. He immediately called for a sales representative and asked if we wanted anything cold to drink. This was the second time we had been asked which felt absolutely welcoming. At this point Max Gonzalez, the sales representative, walked up and introduced himself. I let him know that my son and I wanted to see the F150 outside and he took us out. As we walked out toward the truck I let Max know that I was only interested in looking at the truck and that I was not looking to buy. Now, in my past experiences purchasing vehicles or even just looking at them, once a salesman finds out that you are just looking, they start treating you differently; like you're wasting their time. Not here though... Max began to tell me about the truck, its service record, and about the previous owner. It felt really good to be getting information without having to ask for it. He gave me details and pointed out some discrepancies without me asking. This made me feel like I could trust him and that he wasn't trying to hide anything. I asked if we could take it for a spin and he said "Jump in". Awesome... The test drive was great and when we returned I asked Max to find out how much they would give me for my Explorer that I was driving. I made sure I told him once again that I was just curious and that I wasn't in the market to buy. Even then, he was continued to be extremely polite and helpful, and never made me feel like I was wasting his time. He was simply providing amazing customer service. I was extremely impressed, not just by Max, but by all of the staff at Griffith Ford of Uvalde. The staff in the sales department was amazing. The staff in the finance department was amazing. The staff in the service department was amazing. Everyone at Griffith Ford of Uvalde contributed in making my son and I feel welcomed, comfortable, trusting, and even honored to be doing business at this dealership. They really went out of their way to answer all of my questions, take care of any issues with the vehicle I was looking at, and take care of me and my son. To make a long story short, I left Griffith Ford of Uvalde with an F150 that I was not even shopping for. We love this truck and have enjoyed driving it back to Georgia with no issues whatsoever. The folks at Griffith Ford of Uvalde are really second to none. Their customer service goes above and beyond. I will definitely tell everyone I know about them. Took the car to another Ford dealership in San Antonio and we needed $6,000 + worth of engine repairs. Talked to The man that sold us the car and he then told us he had not had certification/serviced the car per their usual standards as we had wanted the car in a hurry. In a hurry?!?! We had already waited 5-6 days for the car and waited another day to pick it up as they had to have their mechanics look it over and make sure it was the 4.5 - 5.0 rating. Was also to be detailed. The dealership we ended up having it serviced at said no way did anybody check the car out or they would have immediately noticed an engine problem. Took them less than 5 minutes to know that once on the computer. If we would have NOT bought the warranty not only would we have paid $30,000 for the car but then an additional $6,000 in repairs. I feel ripped off but now the car running my grandson has fallen in love with it. The people at Uvalde are nice enough but this car should have been repaired by them and not having to use the warranty to get the car serviced. Took us another 2 months to get another set of keys from them. Car definitely not detailed. Won't tell you what we found in the seats, etc. I originally left Griffith thanking them and so happy I could present this gift to my grandson but now so disappointed in them. We have been told there is another problem so next week headed back to the dealership locally to have it looked and hoping not another expensive repair. I should have immediately taken the car to another dealership to make sure we were not hoodwinked but I did feel the car was new enough and had very few miles per age of vehicle we could trust them. Go with your gut instinct at any dealership buying used, have the car checked out.

Forget F&F, they charge three times more than O'Reilly's. Forget Main Auto Supply, they stock about as many parts as the Cheese Shop had cheese in the classic Monty Python sketch. (For those that have not seen the sketch, the Cheese Shop had no cheese whatsoever). You need a flashlight to navigate the empty isles because the owner only turns on the lights behind the counter. O'reilly's is the only choice. They sell quality parts, have a vast inventory, and offer a lifetime warranty on most parts. If auto repair is your business then buy here. The biggest problem with this store is they can only hire idiots because they will not pay for a knowledgeable sales staff. They hire untrained staff that do not know the difference between an alternator or a brake shoe set. A good parts counterman is worth $25.00 an hour. This store manager pays only $7.00 an hour. If you have a good automotive background, this is the place to shop. They probably have what you need in stock at a good price but you will have to look the parts up yourself or they will try to sell you the wrong parts. If you not a trained auto mechanic, you deserve all the bad advice you will get here and all the parts they sell you that you don't need. Believe me, you will get bad advice. Most of the sales staff are former McDonalds cashiers. While they can tell you what beverage compliments a Big Mac, they don't know what spark plugs compliment your Dussenberg.
