I just went back this week and I had such an AMAZING time! I had to write a review because this is my 4th time there!!! They just renovated the venue and it looks so clean and modern and has such a lounge feel that really set the mood! It's so much better than before and trust me it was already great the way it was. The show and performances were amazing and the DJ that was there was lit! Apparently this is their in house host and DJ. I got a chance to meet and take a pictures with the owner who was super friendly. Honestly, no matter where you sit in the venue and you will have a great view. The best part is they have about 6 super friendly staff members walking around the entire time making sure everyone is doing good with their paintings, dancing with everyone and keeping the energy up. You are allowed to bring in your own drinks and snacks and they fit comfortably at each table. You don't need a group to attend. There was a woman there by herself and we made friends with her and she had a blast. You do want to keep the snacks and food light (chips, finger foods, etc.) because you're going to be up an out of your seat for the most part, singing, dancing and letting loose. They do provide you cups for your drinks, and all the materials for the painting. I will mention that unlike other studios they have a very good quality paint. I don't know what it is but I've been to many others and the paint you usually get at other establishments is usually very transparent. They have a very thick rich paint that makes for bright beautiful colors on the canvas. The lighting in the venue and decor was really well thought out. It was very refreshing to see their growth and yo see their new paintings available online under the tickets link. My friends and I favorite part is the diversity that is much well needed. They pour so much passion and love into their events and you can definitely feel it. As always, I will be back!!! read more

Made our way back here after a couple years and boy when I tell you I didn't think this place could get any better! We had a group of 7 and for some reason the layout seems bigger and more spacious. The staff was grade A and super friendly, thank you Nana and Nila. They greet you at the door and walk you to your seats which is great because you don't have to worry about rushing in or fighting for seats. Now they have four GIANT and I mean HUGE tv's that show you exactly what the instructor is doing and they can zoom in super close so no matter where you sit you'll have a close view or the artist and technique. We had Javi as our instructor and he was hilarious. He kept us laughing the entire time. I don't want to ruin a lot of the surprises because I know so many people still try to get in here and it's always sold out but let me tell you, the owner, the staff and the DJ play everything. If you want Hip Hop, R&B, Latin, Reggae, Soca, Pop, even country, House music, Old hits, New stuff and even some unexpected songs I thought I didn't know the words to but did, they got you covered. I don't know how they managed to fit it all in but they do. The best part is you can feel the love and hard work they put into these events. From beginning to end. The painting part is well paced and it gives you freedom to customize your art work and still dance and karaoke all throughout the event. The staff is there to help, chat and dance along with you through the night and it's just so personable. Needless to say, my painting came out great! Really amazing experience. They recently remodeled the place and it's so much better. I've been here twice now for my aunts birthday and my mom's birthday and I'm getting my first together for the new show which is phenomenal by the way. I live that they always switch things up because last time I was here they played new songs and they really cater to the group that was there. They played a some good Latin bops, R&B during the wind down and then turn it back up with hip-hop, reggae, Afro beats and other dancing / singing music. My painting always comes out good to which I love because some other studios don't help you at all. The owner and the staff is super fun and friendly and they really pass on their own energy and dynamics with each other to the public because you can tell they enjoy being there and we're really focused on other people's enjoyment and that is the most refreshing part of their experience. I heard Canvas & Grapes is the most famous paint and sip lounge in the tri-state from a friend of mine. It was an amazing experience! From my understanding, they expanded and now are larger than before. The staff is super friendly and they treat you like family. The best part is the story behind the owner. I didn't know how many of these paint and sips are not owned by artists. This one is and you can feel it. From the types of paint and materials they use not that watered down paint I seen before and their brushes are always clean. The music is amazing and the sound quality of their production is great it's like a show/concert and a paint and sip all in one. An amazing time especially since there are not many places that cater to minorities. They really put love and thought into every part of the experience. I hope they open more locations because I haven't seen anything like this before and I've been to so many! Love it! read more

It is now my fourth time here and they are amazing as always. They have expanded and added new things which is awesome. Every time I've been they always switch the entertainment up which is great because it always feels fresh and new. The owner and the staff care about their guests so much you can literally see people giving them hugs and they take time to get to know everyone. It just feels so genuine. The owner and the staff put on a great show and they are actually artists in every sense of the word. I love that they are actually a minority owned business because they really bring the energy and vibes I'm always looking for. The music, the dancing the shows and the painting instruction is always on point. One thing that is not often mentioned is that they are very clean and you can tell they put a lot of work into their production. If you're looking for a fun, high-energy paint and sip experience, this is your sign! From start to finish, the class was packed with performances, dancing, and even karaoke. We had an absolute blast, and the staff really knows how to get the party going. The BYOB and snacks policy is a huge plus -- especially since you can even bring glass bottles, which isn't always allowed at other places.
