I've been to Canvas and Grapes experience twice and had a great time both times. The first time I went was in 2019 and it was my favorite experience out of the two because some of the team members put on a performance for everyone. The second time I went there wasn't much of a performance from the team members. I guess it depends on which of the team members are working and which ones feel comfortable performing. Both times I did the LIVE KARAOKE PAINT N' SIP W/ DJ. Which gives you the opportunity to do some karaoke your own self if you are feeling enthusiastic. It is also a BYOB and you can bring small snacks. Overall it is a fun experience and definitely a go to paint and sip experience I would recommend trying.

I've been here 4 times already!!! Love this place, it's a vibe. Tucked away in Edison. Parking lot is small but accommodating. They do have a place to hang your coats. It's a byob they do have a cork screw and cups. They also now offer water, soda, and Red Bull. You can sign up for just the DJ or the karaoke. Watch when you are booking. Tables seat up to 5, we had a party of six but were seated together.

My friend Vanessa took me here today for my birthday and it was so much fun! Brandon was the artist and host that made this experience even better! It was a small group but we all had a blast. It is BYOB and you can bring food/snacks too. We did the early paint party and the music and smoke machine were great! The karaoke party must be fun too.

I've been to canvas and grapes twice. Once with a friend & another time with my mom and grandma. Each time I really enjoyed it. My favorite thing about Canvas & Grapes is the variety of paintings that's a bit different from other places. I can't paint another tree !! And here there are more options than just trees! The karaoke is fun too. It's interactive and engaging. The staff is friendly and helpful!!

Not your average paint and sip! This place brings you a unique experience all around. Booking was a breeze. The birthday guest sent us the link and guided us on what to input in the notes section. I made a payment and an email was sent with further details to my arrival. The booking to our party was about a total of 20 people, 4 tables of 5. We took up the entire right section. The left section was open to the public. Regardless of where we sat we all had access to the instructor and the TVs projecting the art work that was being demonstrated. The instructor was informative, detailed and personably funny. All staff members were just as great and talented as they helped out when needed. There's a coat rack before entrance. So no worries on bringing your coat into the art room. Brining in a wine bottle? They got you with a cork opener. Let's not forget the DJ. He worked very well with the instructor and played just the right music for the crowd. The karaoke was on point! The scheduling of painting, dance breaks, karaoke and more painting is just right. Keep in mind, lights are dimmed throughout the paint experience. Have fun!

I had a blast!! The host was amazing and he was funny. He was helpful when explaining what we needed to do. He hyped up the crowd

So I went again last night and it was a lot better this time. I went to a private event the first time I left a review. This time it was public. Different set of employees and the vibe was way better. The painting was more involved so it wasn't long periods of down time. It was a really great experience.

I came here to celebrate a birthday. Let me start off by saying this is NOT your average sip and paint. The staff are so helpful and kind. While I was there one of the parties was being disruptive as the instructor was trying to demonstrate and the owner got on the mic and let them know that he will not tolerate their behavior and being rude to the instructor. I love that he stood up for his employees! This sip and paint is a BYOB (wine or hard seltzer) however I did see people with actual liquor. Their behavior throughout the night did sorta mess up my experience. They also do karaoke sign up and it's such a vibe! I think this is a perfect spot for a girls night out. The only suggestion I have is maybe enforcing a policy that large parties with 10 or more should have a private event. Outside if that I love what they stand for here, inclusivity and diversity. **Sidenote: they will only let you in 20 minute's prior to the class start time. For example , class starts at 5 you can enter at 4:40pm.

This is anything but your average paint and sip! From the instructor, assistants, ambiance, and karaoke everything was top notch! I will definitely be spreading the word and making a return visit

If you are looking for a fun filled time...this is the place. Went on Saturday with my friends and we had a BLAST!!! We will definitely be returning. The pictures say it all.

Do you know how fun a place has to be to get me to let loose and go onstage to sing in front strangers??? Super Fun! The entire vibe was great, the energy was giving, and the drinks were flowing. We had a blast! Great music, cool introductions, and cool hosts. Everyone had a niche. The main hostess had great energy, and the helping hosts did too. It was karaoke night, and it was super fun. Everyone mostly participated from advanced to entry-level singers, so it was easy to feel confident. We painted flowers on a vine, and we tried our best. Overall, even if you found out you weren't the Picasso you'd hoped you were , it was worth every single cent. BYOB always makes it extra fun. Others bought charcuterie boards, chips, snacks, and loads of wine. For the first time in life, I felt under prepared with my one bottle of wine lol but now I know for next time. Great music playing over head, a great mash up of genres in the Karaoke section. Small but well utilized space made this experience unforgettable!

This place was CUTE!! Attended a birthday event the team was welcoming, funny HELPFUL and it's not just painting. We saw a performance. We SANG, they allow you to get up and move around so you can do your little 2step and then there's KARAOKE! the songs were lit! I'm even surprised at the playlist. We STAN!! Will return again. Thank you

We had blast! Our first time and definitely will not be our last!

There's no bad seat in the room as they had a stage with camera where the instructor showed step by step on painting.

So how did I wind up back here? Bit of a story but if you read my first review you'll see how I met a friend that I met online 13 years ago for the first time and this was the place we went for dinner after an event. Well, now a year later, her and I were traveling together north to Parsippany and this was the closest restaurant that looked appealing. It was not until we enter the parking lot I said out loud, this is where we had our first dinner. Anyways, enough of that love story. I really want to give this two stars for service but the food really pushed it over the top. So all in all I will keep it as a four star review. I want to address the food first, I had the short rib tacos, and my partner had eggplant caprice flatbread. I had a bite of hers which I absolutely enjoyed, eggplant had a nice crisp to it which really made it enjoyable. The short rib tacos... holy crap! Mind blown. I did not expect such great flavor in such a small bite. Everything about the tacos packed a punch. I would much rather have had six tacos and no chips and salsa. As for the service, this is where I got frustrated and my cash tip hopefully reconcile with my server. We dined on the rooftop which was completely empty minus a couple at the bar. We seated and ordered our beverages. I did not get my lime with my lemon water. After we ordered our meals, and received them, a server never came back to check in with us. I wasn't a big fan of her attitud either. It started to get busy I noticed that the host kept seating everyone around us when there was an entire floor to sit people at. Not sure if they're trying to keep people in one specific area but for how slow it was they certainly could've given everyone more privacy. I'm pretty sure the couple that was seated next to us got up and left for that reason. Cannot say I will not be back but who knows when I'll be traveling through again.

The standout for me was definitely the coal oven wings. They had the perfect char, super tender and juicy, and came with a great variety of sauces on the side. Easily one of the best things on the table. The St. Patrick's Day Guinness-battered fish and chips were also really good crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and not greasy at all. The brisket sandwich was solid and came with a generous side of fries. We also ordered the fried calamari, which was delicious light, crispy, and not greasy. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. Overall, a great spot for a family meal with good food and a lively atmosphere.

I was so surprised that the place was pretty busy on a Saturday at 930am. The demographic was quite diverse from families with kids to people with friends and to couples. Lots of people brought their own clubs too. (Don't worry, they provide clubs and label them with large beginner ones too). The bays were comfortable. They had heating when it was about 50 and drizzling outside and I felt comfortable and warm. The games were easy to set up. I feel like I didn't fully grasp how to play and was just swinging the ball out there for the fun of it (still somehow ranked 2nd place among my friends :P) Our attendant was super helpful and checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu wasn't as expensive as I had imagined which is a plus too. The food did take a little bit of time to come out. Wish they provided water for the bays and napkins. I appreciated my time and can see the appeal. I'm glad there's one opening closer to me so hopefully I can go again and get a better grasp on the game!

Service was tied with the food for first place! Starting with the friendly and helpful hostess, every single employee offered a greeting and a smile. Our server was Elijah, he was wonderful! Warm, friendly and professional. He was attentive and perceptive. He didn't hover but anytime we needed he re-appeared. We were greeted by two out of the three managers, 10 out of 10. Now for the food! We ordered the rice balls, maple wings a Pepper pig pizza and for my cocktail I had the blue Hawaiian. Every thing was delicious hot and freshly made. The outside and inside are visually appealing. I would describe it as modern meets industrial with a nice dose or rustic, very nice.

To make matters worse, a server took away one of the pizza trays while my dad was still actively eating from it--I'm not exaggerating. It was only 9:04 PM, and we were simply finishing our meal before leaving. On top of that, I ordered the Bucatini, and it was severely overcooked. My mom ordered another pasta that also wasn't good. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience with poor service and subpar food.

If this is upscale dining by Darden, they've gone downhill and are very, very far from what Capital Grille offers. To make this review short and sweet my wife, brother-in-law and daughter came in around 8:00 p.m. for a couple drinks and a snack. After finally realizing something is terribly wrong here, I spoke to the GM, Chris, and told him what was going on. We hadn't received water an hour into our experience, we were never even offered any bread. I'm sitting here a steak and butter knife drinking a glass of Caymus and feeling like I am being ignored in the ghetto. The runner, Jessica, as pleasant as she was, was forced to drop our food on an extremely cluttered and disorganized table with empty glasses from the first round. There was zero attentiveness on the part of anyone for our entire experience. After speaking to Chris, we were finally brought some glasses of water and what I remember to be possibly pita bread or flatbread with rock hard butter. Towards the conclusion they offered us some tiny desserts on the house, which we politely declined. Nothing was discounted, there were no apologies. Such a beautiful place with a welcoming atmosphere to be thrown to the wolves like this. After working for Darden in the Chrysler building, I know this does not uphold their standards or what the managing partner would expect out of their staff.
