This is probably the only place where we can get a decent karaoke night that's close to me. The…read moreprices are not bad. The rooms are spacious, but the A/C can get really uncomfortabley cold. They use individual A/C units per room, but they don't leave the controllers for the customer to use. You'll have to ask the staff to come in and adjust it for you. It shouldn't be a big deal, but they don't get it to what you want. They'll either adjust it to be too cold or they shut it off, altogether. Could be a language barrier. It's BYOB and Food. We came prepared. The song selection is decent. They have a good mix of modern and old songs. Not enough Filipino music, though. The sound system is still good, but the controller to input the songs can be tricky. Also, some song listed in their booklets may no longer exist in the system. We've experienced it quite a number of times. We still enjoyed our time there. And we are most likely to return, especially since we don't know any other karaoke joints in my area.

It is located in the same plaza of the spa and the sign isn't lit up. We walked in and the man walked us to our room. We ordered the larger room thinking more people would show but it ended up being 8 of us. The man that worked there wanted to only give us an hour but one of the girls talked to him to extend it to 2. The room was so cold and we asked if they could turn on the heat and he said "no heat." So we had to freeze until we moved around a bit. The catalog was kind of small in their book but we were able to still make due with what they had. It was an ok time that I had.

But there are two different rooms. Try to get a seat in the other room. I tried the pina colada in a grapefruit head (I wanted to try it with the pineapple head) it was delicious. The kitchen isn't usually open early. But when it is they have a nice menu. The lamb skewer is good too. I making this a regular place to do work and study

Stained/ripped couches. Could use a redesign for lounge appeal. 2. Service is nice but extremely slow and inattentive. Last visit this month... had to wait 30 mins to get seated, took 30 mins to even get menus (another table called someone over to get us one), and once we ordered we did not receive our hookah for another 30 mins after me having to specifically ask a worker why it was taking so long. The place had cleared out by that point. 3. They used to play club music which gave it a fun nightlife vibe, but in recent times they play it extremely low where it is barely heard. Smoking hookah in silence pretty much. PRO: 4. The food. Menu I have to say is large, fairly priced, and the middle eastern cuisine is actually quite tasty/authentic -- i.e. falafel, lamb, hummus, etc. 5. Interesting variety of hookah. You could try this spot out; it's ok and gets the job done. However, I'm sure there are way cooler places to spend a night.

It offered a good selection of teas and nonalcoholic drinks. The service was great and the staff was wonderful. We were especially find of Kai and Michael. I recently tried the chef's 8-course tasting menu, and it was perfectly paced--the small plates are proportionately sized so you leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed. Every dish is a standout with deep, "stacked" flavors; even the ingredients I was skeptical about ended up being favorites. Nothing needed a drop of extra seasoning. The service sets a warm, welcoming tone from the start. We were offered Oshibori (Japanese warm towelettes) to refresh our hands, and getting a fresh set of utensils with every course was a high-end touch I really appreciated. Menu Highlights: Taro Fritter: A sweet-textured appetizer inspired by Chinese desserts, topped with caviar and soy-pickled beets. It was a beautiful way to awaken the palate. Mackerel Crudo: As someone who isn't usually a fan of raw dishes, I was surprised by how much I loved this. It's light, perfectly acidic, and balanced with plum, ponzu, and apple. Grilled Sunchoke: This was "rustic elegance" in a bowl. The smell alone is incredible, and the combination of ginger crab and shellfish butter is pure comfort. Smoked Duck: Topped with black winter truffle and caramelized onions in a gochujang sauce--absolutely excellent cook and presentation. Braised Beef Cheek: So tender you can skip the knife and just use your fork. Since I forgot to BYOB, I tried their house-made Luck & Love hibiscus drink. It's hands-down the best hibiscus tea I've ever had--I actually tried to buy one to-go, but they only make enough for dine-in guests! It's a fantastic spot to bring friends or loved ones, though I'd recommend arriving early. The parking lot is extremely tight, so you might need to look for space in the lot next door.
