The silver metallic paint on my 2016 Mustang is not easily matched. They did a superb job painting all panels (both fenders,new bumper and hood) The shine and sheen are correct. 2. The wheel was refreshed by a guy they had come in, and he got it wrong both times. Johnathan was so good in getting a brand new wheel quickly. 3. I was dealing with a third part who was paying out of pocket to repair my car and the Valet team did an amazing job on dealing with the paperwork! 4. They did a super job detailing the vehicle before I got it back. The not so good. 1.The headlights were both replaced and they failed to adjust them. When I drove home they were pointing in completely different directions and not even close to correctly. 2. The bumper assembly was replaced and they didn't detail before painting. There are literally tabs and rough mold markings on the ends that should have been ground before painting. Small detail to some people but noticed by me. 3. Overspray on the windshield and gasket...should have been caught while detailing Overall as I said a 4.5. If heaven forbid I ever need another body shop, Valet will be my choice!

Our car was badly damaged in a recent hail storm in August. There were over 100 hail dents on it…read moreand some of them fairly deep, as we were driving it to get home and in the garage during the storm. Our insurance company (Farmers Insurance) worked directly with Carstar, which made the whole interaction very easy. They fixed every dent with Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) and did such a terrific job that it is impossible to tell that there was any damage on the car, or that any liners or panels were removed in the process. Not only was the repair job exceptional, but they washed the exterior and apparently detailed the interior during the service! Our car is the cleanest that it has been since we bought it new. The total repair (and detail) was complete in 3 business days. They started Monday morning and I got a call first thing Thursday morning that it was done... which was much faster than I had expected. J.K. dealt with us, and he was professional, straight shooting and a delight to do business with. I'm a perfectionist and hardly take my vehicles anywhere to have work on them other than tires.. but this repair was way out of my wheelhouse. I scrutinized the work done and was thrilled. It is very difficult to meet my perfectionist expectations. Carstar not only met them, but exceeded them! I would not hesitate to take my car back to them for any type of body work. While I was there, there was a car in their back lot that caught my attention... I asked J.K. if I could take a closer look. The car itself was nothing too special, but what I thought was a paint job was exceptional. J.K. quickly explained that it wasn't a paint job, but a wrap! I couldn't believe it! Even close up and touching it, I couldn't tell it was a wrap! It wasn't until J.K. opened a door to show where the wrap ended that it was evident that it was a wrap. I was astonished! We stopped in last week to get an estimate for repairing our vehicle after we rear-ended another…read morecar, causing a few thousand dollars damage to the other car and resulting in bumper scratches and apparent asymmetry around the headlight on ours. Manager Danny evaluated our car and noted the scratches were minor, but would be expensive to repair and, just using his fist on the plastic part of the bumper, completely fixed the asymmetry around the headlight - after that, even a with a close look at the front end, the damage was virtually invisible. He also carefully inspected under the hood and front end with a flashlight and said he could not see any evidence of structural damage - bottom line: due to the damage to the other car, we were expecting and ready for a big bill to fix ours - Danny not only fixed the most visible result of the accident for no charge, he talked us out of doing more repairs and saved us a bundle. That is integrity! If we ever have another need (hopefully not), this will be our "go to" shop and we'll ask for Danny!
