Went to Bashas to buy limes and that section was empty (which happens way too often at Bashas). So, 5 minutes later I'm at Frys on the Trail and they had tons of limes and they were on sale. Plus there were definitely staff personnel everywhere. I had to ask one on them where to find more Frys shopper ID. BOOM! NO MO Bashas from now on.

Every other store including Walmart, there is at least 1 machine that takes cash. This is extremely inconvenient for some of us. There is also always an issue with the Bashas' shopper account. Back when you first got a Bashas' account and card, there was no app. Now that there's digital coupons like every other store, you have to use the app, which somehow created a second account when you downloaded the app. So now upon entering your phone number, you have to have an employee select the correct account on the screen. I've heard employees of this store complain and make jokes about California, but this store is turning into the neighboring state they love to hate. Service is getting poor, self checkouts are card only, and problems with the customer account......all you need now is no bags and you're there......trust me, a California resident.

You put a quarter in to unlock the cart, use it for your shopping, & when finished, you put your cart back, lock it, & you get your quarter back. Keeps the number of stolen carts down. Also, you bag your own groceries. That helps keep the costs down as well. I bought 3 reusable Aldi bags for future trips. I was impressed with the store itself. Nice wide aisles to go through while shopping. Cashier service is awesome and the cashiers are very helpful and friendly. The ambiance is busy yet quiet. Perfect when you don't want craziness while shopping I saved close to $50 on my groceries! What I bought today was $88 and would have cost me close to $130 at Walmart, where I usually shop! Aldi will be my go to from here on out except for certain items I can only get at Walmart.

Winco sells it 16 ounces for $3.50 on average because the weight differs. Everything I purchased like a mayonnaise that's actually made with eggs and has no natural flavors no chemicals and no palm oil. At Walmart, you cannot find a healthy product. Everything I purchased was a dollar or more or less than Walmart in this case Walmart's blue cheese was four times higher for a measly 4 ounces . I will be shopping at Winco from now on.

When I was searching for onion, the end cap with onion had rotten produce... I now have a new smell to remember when I watch hoarders tv show. The store was unsafe with boxes everywhere. I get the shelves have to be stocked, but the current operation is unsafe. I reached out to Winco and was given a cold shoulder. They demanded I bring all of the food back for a credit at the manager's discretion... WTF. Nah, I'm done. The prices aren't bargains anymore. Quality is down... go somewhere else.
