I visit this sprouts quite often, typically the deli section. All I can say is all the ladies behind the counter very nice and very helpful. I usually get a sandwich made and it's always very good. We were there on May 30. The apricots were flavorless. Three days later some were moldy & tossed in the trash before I could get a picture of them. The tomatoes are starting to wrinkle. No organic eggplants. I have never seen such poor quality at a Sprouts. The staff I interacted with were helpful and friendly and Kayla at checkout was fast. The store was organized and clean. DO NOT BUY PREMADE MEALS FROM SPROUTS! I bought the Chicken and Mushroom "you cook" meal for $12 and it was so nasty! When I put it into the frying pan to cook, it was clear to me we wouldn't be eating dinner. The chicken came out 50% fat, 25% mystery meat and 25% not any part of a chicken I've ever seen! I had to take photos just because it had some weird black vein running all through it which I've never seen in a chicken. There was so much fat, and the parts I did try to cut up for my children were full of sinew!! Hey Sprouts, you're charging premium prices for completely inedible products. Do better! read more

I bought the Air Chilled Chicken once and it started getting slimy with still 3 days left until expiration. It turned yellow in certain areas as well. So... I always give things a second chance, and I bought the same Air Chilled Chicken again. Same thing, it turned before the expiration date. Yellow and slimy. Grossly overpriced, horrible bakery - a lot has changed in the past year, all for the negative. Thought this might be a viable option, but not again. Sad to say (even the instacart drivers are offensive, in the parking lot). I've been frequenting this location since it opened as I have some health struggles and food allergies. Sprouts has been amazing when needing to follow a low FODMAP diet to slowly try to introduce more foods into my diet. Though they can be priced a little higher than a typical grocery store, there produce quality and selection in general makes it worth it! Plus, I like the smaller store size so I'm not bombarded with choices and can strike up conversations with staff as it's more of a small town grocery store. One word? Pricey. I shopped here since it was near the hotel. I was coming in from out of town and didn't want to drive too far to get my groceries. Sheesh, I wished I would have expanded my map view a bit more to see that Walmart was on the other side of the highway. I only purchased about 2 bags of groceries and it came out to way over $150! If you're looking for organic items then this is the place for you; however, don't expect to find paper towels/toilet paper. Would I shop here again? Probably not. I do purchase a lot of fruits and vegetables, but unless these ones are coated in gold, I'd rather just shop at a regular grocery store. read more

Organic What? I make a trip to Sprouts every Sunday before lunch. My daughter (4yo) loves the turkey sandwich and my son (7yo) gets sushi. I'm not a big fan of premade grocery store sushi but it's not terrible and he is only 7! I get tons of my groceries at sprouts. I make hummus every week. I make my own tahini and use the Sprouts organic garbanzo beans. My wife loves my beet hummus and I get the beets and pistachios from sprouts. My favorite Keto dessert is the Organic Thai coconut cream with pecans and blackberries. I get the ground Angus beef (grass feed) and I like the heavy cream in the glass bottle ($3 deposit) it's crazy good. Enjoy Sprouts, I do every week! read more

Smelled like sewer when we walked in. Most employees are unfriendly and not helpful. There are certain products that I get here because it's the closest place to get them but overall I'm not really a fan, I find a lot of things overpriced just because they're being sold at Sprouts (looking at you Vitamin Water) and they're banking on you not wanting to go anywhere else, I find it pointless as they charge plenty for everything else in the store. read more

Well, I've always love sprouts love shopping there Their veggies and stuff are always great deals, today when I was checking out I was told I need to pay $.10 for a bag. If I did not bring my own, OK I'm shopping at your store spending my money at your store and then you want me to pay you $.10 for a bag it's not gonna happen. I will take my business elsewhere. (Do not become California sprouts). You have customers that are faithful that come in there and now you wanna charge them $.10 for a bag it's a bunch of BS especially with the prices of things nowadays and thank God there's other places to do shopping if this is what you're going to do to your customers. I love Sprouts. I used to frequent the Recker location but started coming to the Signal Butte location as the store seemed more roomy and is close to my husband and I's soon-to-be new home, so we figured we'd get familiar with the store. We love their paleo/gluten-free friendly options and how they have more of a "clean" "wholesome" approach compared to most chain grocery stores. The bummer part about Sprouts is that their carts are not very large. This is not a surprise, and is something I have been aware of for some time. So, if you are in need of several groceries, do not count on just one cart holding what you need. My husband and I have to use 2 carts usually because we are not only shopping for ourselves, but we will pick up groceries for my parents too. This is where we start to run into some issues. Using 2 grocery carts is definitely not convenient for me, and I wish I could just use one, but when you're shopping for multiple people, you gotta do what you gotta do. This didn't seem to be a problem for awhile, but just recently within the last couple of months, on separate occasions I've gotten attitude from the cashiers about it and now I must take a break from Sprouts. The last visit really did it for me when I was trying to pay for the groceries and my husband was still unloading the first cart, and a woman who came over to help bag very rudely stated to me that the cashier had many bags ready and her space was getting full. I acknowledged this and told her "okay" as I was paying and my husband was still unloading the cart, but she continued to state this to me TWO more times!! I heard you! That was the last time I will do my full grocery haul at Sprouts. I have now unfortunately started shopping at the local Fry's as they have bigger carts and better prices. Yes, you pay for the quality of your food at Sprouts, and that I definitely miss, however I will not be paying prices like that and get attitude from staff for my large (in comparison to the norm at this store) shopping trips! Employees should be happy to ring up so many groceries that are contributing to their jobs! It's a grocery store! Please be kind. You don't know what some people need to do to help out their family. This store is great for picking up a few items here and there maybe using one of their hand baskets to keep the cashiers happy, but if you are coming through with a full cart (or two) beware! read more

One of the most well kept grocery stores in AZ. I don't know why anyone would shop anywhere else. The service is worth the small price difference. Literally everything is more fresh and better quality. The meats, the produce, the grains. Everything is a small step up from your frys or bashas and big step up from a winco or Walmart. We had shopped regularly at Sprouts on Signal Butte Rd in Mesa AZ since they opened about two years ago and always had friendly service until now. We bought, among other things, 6 bottles of wine which should have qualified for a 10% discount per their instore display label, which stated "10% off wine when you buy four or more". The cashier maintained that it only applied to each set of four bottles and as I had six the discount would not apply to the other 2. I pointed out that I had seen a label which offered the discount on 4 or more but was told if I bought another two I could have the discount on all bottles. I reminded her that the offer should apply to 4 or more but said ok charge me for another 2 and I will get them. I ran back to the wine shelves but initially did not see another 2 of what I had bought but knelt down on the floor and on an empty looking bottom shelf there were just 2 at the very back which I retrieved and returned to the check out where my wife was in process of paying. I showed the cashier the label but she would not even look at it. The customer behind me accused me of jumping the line and I told him I was there before him and there was a problem with the transaction. He started arguing and was very abrasive so I told him to just shut up and mind his own business. In my opinion, the store was 100% at fault for refusing to honor their advertised offer or for that matter even to investigate and discuss it. The cashier should have sent someone to the wine dept to retrieve another two bottles anyway. Cashier was very rude and assistant was just plain unhelpful. Had a disappointing visit to Sprouts Farmers Market (1240 S. Signal Butte) today, August 19th, 2021, from approximately 11:45am to 11:58am (MST) . 1st, I stood at the meat/fish counter (which is next to the sushi and deli counter) for almost five (5) minutes without anyone offering assistance. There were 4+ people working who all chose to ignore me (please check security cameras for verification). I had to raise my voice and ask for assistance. Pretty embarrassing. 2nd, on my way out of the store, the inner sliding doors (north side) closed on me, slamming into my right shoulder and forearm. Again, please check security cameras for verification. Pain is still felt and will engage with Sprouts management if still there tomorrow. read more

Sprouts tend to be on the smaller side of grocery stores, more along the lines of a neighborhood Walmart. This location is no exception to the size rule. It is a brand new location having opened in the past couple months so everything is super clean, very new and still beautiful. This location has an outside enclosed seating area as part of its little cafe eat in area. The store is laid out pretty nicely in regard to shopping. At the front you have thd bread section, then the deli area, the fresh meat area, then produce, then freezer area on the outside perimeter. In the center area you have bulk goods, additional produce. In a corner on the opposite side of the front of the store you have the section for cleaning, beauty, etc. Next to the freezer area is the section for dry goods. The store was very clean, everyone seemed to be doing their assigned responsibilities, and everyone appeared happy. I needed assistance finding some things and the employees were cheerfully helpful. I found the prices to be on the higher side for many of the exact same product at other stores. I really dislike when stores do this. Overall everything was very fresh. I still needed to go to another store to finish shopping for additional items I needed or that that just didn't carry due to their smaller store footprint. read more

As of this writing, this store has been open about a year now. When I first found it, I was so impressed I wrote a glowing Yelp review and shopped there 2 - 3 times a week. But around Thanksgiving, their dark colors began to show through their facade of wholesomeness. Two days before a major holiday, their already excessive meat/seafood prices double. Worse, they repackage smaller portions into larger ones, forcing their gullible customers to buy way more than they need. Ask for a smaller portion, and you're in for a big argument. In addition I've caught them performing a grocery merchant's magic trick I'd never seen before. Meat that isn't so fresh any more is recycled with a cheaper grade, then put "on sale" for only slightly less than their original higher price when it was pure and fresh. I've fallen for these scams first at Thanksgiving, then Christmas and again at New Year's. Their meat counter staff is too often impatient and rude. If you want a special cut or an odd amount, they argue like crazy, trying desperately to sell you more than you need. They act annoyed, roll their eyes to the heavens and huff and sigh, until you give up. Their deli counter isn't much better. They have too many pricey items on display that look fresh, but when you get them home, they're stale and dried out, indicating they've probably been sitting there all week. Their avocados are usually great, but I've brought some rotten ones home that had to go back or be tossed. I have stopped buying many of their bulk gourmet candies because they're usually old and stale. And expensive. Another clever trick they employ is price gouging. Once I bought a bottle of drink mix that wasn't terribly popular, but I loved it. After my third consecutive purchase, they figured they had me hooked and jacked up the price. Another fraud I detected is with their sushi. The portions are decent, but the actual sushi is 100% fake. Buy a $15 package of Sprout's so-called sushi, and all you're getting for your money is rice, sliced vegetables and a micro-smattering of some silly sauce made of sugar and vinegar. Worse, there's an attractive young Asian couple standing by the small sushi stand. They cannot speak conversational English, except to insist there is fish in the sushi. In reality, they are just window dressing to promote the concept these folks just made everything fresh. However, nothing could be further from the truth: the package label indicates it's imported from Charlotte, North Carolina. The salad bar is only affordable to folks who can afford a second mortgage on their home. While it's great during the day, avoid it after 4 or 5 pm. By then it's been picked over, splattered around, the better ingredients pilfered, leaving only the dead weight, lettuce greens, cucumbers and other ballast. Try to find someone to replenish it, and they've all gone home. I stopped complaining because all I get is a flat-out denial or a promise to fix something that never happens. read more

Walked in, browsed around the produce section, and found strawberries! Everything seemed well stocked. The cashier was friendly and there were no lines. Always the kindest employees! I wish I could remember the name of the cashier who checked out my items today. She was so so kind and gave impeccable service! She had a very cheery and welcoming attitude, she walked around the table to put my bag in my cart for me, and (even though this is a really small thing) she handed me my receipt with two hands. In my culture when handing someone something you use two hands to show respect. Whoever the was working the cash register around 7-7:30, keep it up you're amazing!!! And to her boss: treat her well!! I've been shopping at sprouts for about 5 years and this store about a year or so. I've been going in the store since last March without a mask and not one word from anyone.
