The layout is split between a young children splash pad area and a full size pool that is split into multiple sections. I was incredibly impressed by everything they have to offer. The splash section has a slide and plenty of shade for the kids. The big pool has a walk in section that gradually gets deeper as you get in. To top it off, the have the diving boards to get out all your high flying energy. We will definitely be back all summer long.

They have a lot of picnic tables and chairs to lay your stuff at while you swim. They have a small kids play water park with slides and a bucket that dumps water. They have a little kiddie pool which my toddler was stoked about. It was down right filthy!!! I mean it was soooo dirty. There was bugs galore, leaves, bird feathers and all kinds of stuff floating in it!! It was nasssssssty!! But despite that heres the real kicker. After about 30 min or so they switched life guards. The one up there that was leaving was doing her job and she did it well. Now this new one omg was the worst. The entire time she was up there she was just jibber jabbering with a guest the entire time. Not ONCE did she pay attention to anyone in the pool. Not once did she look or even gaze at any of the children or people in the pool. She didnt even turn her head. A woman in the lane next to me noticed the same thing I did and said something to me about it. She then told me i should say something. So I did. When I approached the young girl working the front she seemed not surprised nor shocked that I said something but yet preceded to tell me " i think i saw her turn her head a couple times"! Are u kidding me right now? I asked for a supervisor number and she gave it to me. Not once did she apologize or say anything. This place is a filthy dangerous joke. The larger one has swimming lanes, 2 low dives, 1 high dive, water-basketball, wade out area, etc. The smaller one is PERFECT for kids. It's probably no more than 1.5-2 feet deep, but has sprayers/fountains everywhere, a jungle gym in the middle of the pool with a slide, whale statues to sit on, etc. I saw kids from 2-12 in there having a blast! Not a swimmer? Not a problem! There are shaded areas to sit at if you just want to watch the others swim. I saw plenty of people sitting back with a book or laying out to get a tan. The prices are only $3 for youth (under 18) and $5 for adults. You can bring your own food and bev and spend the day in the sun, but cooling off! My husband and I just moved into a house in the Anderson Mill Mud district and out of our awesome apartment. Living in a house is awesome, but man.... how I missed the pools at the apartment complex, especially with well over a month of 3-digit tempteratures. But with this pool and it's appeal for all ages, I'm not missing that apartment complex anymore! I will definitely become a regular!

Huge water slide for bigger kids/adults and a smaller one for smaller kids. Outside volleyball, soccer, bmx trail, 2 separated playgrounds (one for bigger kids and one for smaller). They also used to have a rock climbing wall (unsure if it's still there). This makes for one of the best parks in Austin in my opinion.

My kids stayed for almost 2 hours and the only reason we left then is because they were starting to turn red from their sunscreen wearing off. The lifeguards were also great. We have gotten so used to overbearing lifeguards this summer who blow their whistles and yell nonstop and this was a nice change of pace. They were very patient with everyone, using normal speaking voices and only using whistles if someone was doing something dangerous. It made for a very relaxing and fun experience. The entry for kids is about standard ($3 each) and a bit higher than usual for adults ($6 each) but one of the benefits of this is that the place wasn't very crowded so we were able to have a good time without feeling cramped. Before we received the final contract, Nate spent months with us on the design, going back and forth on every detail and with extreme patience. He was able to provide accurate pricing on all the additions and changes. When we would ask for something he would explain WHY it can or cannot be done. Every step of the process was handled with professionalism and care, and it is clear he takes immense pride in his work. What stood out the most, though, was his character. He's honest, dependable, and truly cares about doing things the right way. Nate has a degree in civil engineering from A&M and is able to explain the physics of why we might not want to do something we think we want to do.
