There's also a pretty cool slide and one of those "walk on floats across the water" things. My kids stayed for almost 2 hours and the only reason we left then is because they were starting to turn red from their sunscreen wearing off. The lifeguards were also great. We have gotten so used to overbearing lifeguards this summer who blow their whistles and yell nonstop and this was a nice change of pace. They were very patient with everyone, using normal speaking voices and only using whistles if someone was doing something dangerous. It made for a very relaxing and fun experience. The entry for kids is about standard ($3 each) and a bit higher than usual for adults ($6 each) but one of the benefits of this is that the place wasn't very crowded so we were able to have a good time without feeling cramped. We'll definitely be coming back again, kids and adults had a great time.

Within the park you will find sports activities - volleyball, paddle tennis, swimming, etc. Many park dwellers were fully engaged in sports activities. In addition, there is a children's playground for the littles in your life. There are also a covered areas for gatherings and social interaction. One area for improvement would be the maintenance of the park. Many grassy areas appeared to be overgrown and not cut for some time. With that said, it did not appear to hinder activities as the park was fully packed.

The amenities are decent and they have a nice range of machines and weights, but there are no saunas or steam rooms to enjoy and decompress. Rumors say they might convert an area to have such services. The second floor is pretty dedicated to their studios and cardio as the main floor has machines, weights, and dumbbells. You can bring your work bag here and do some work before or after a session knowing they have a full cafe available with coffee and cold brew! I'm enjoying my time at this location since they have a four lane outdoor lap pool, but if you don't mind a drive check out the other location a bit more up 183 and see which location is best for you.

They also do NOT respond to their emails (I emailed on 8/4 - still haven't heard back). Being honest - you would be better off joining these places: Crunch - has sauna, brand new, $10/mo, 6 mins away YMCA - has pool/sauna/hottub/full gym/child care options, $75/mo, 10 mins away OR just a different location. The pool isn't too cold on a hot day, so if you're expecting Barton Springs cold you're not gonna get it. But given the pricing and the location (especially if you're in/close to Pflugerville), it's a nice place to visit. A nice plus is that there are tables and chairs that are for the most part in the shade (perfect for the summer). I do want to point out that the building with restrooms/changing room/showers is no longer in use, so you'll have to use the bathrooms "in front" (never used them, so don't know if they're referring to the ones in the park or not). In any case, the bathroom situation probably isn't the greatest, so if you're in a situation where you need nicer facilities, you might want to think twice before coming. That being said, if you're looking for a solid place to swim for a few hours (even 1 or 2), I think this place beats out the other pools around town.

Both parks act as traffic roundabouts in their respective neighborhoods and are separated by Weiland elementary school. The reason this park is nicer than its nearby neighbor is because it features a swimming pool. There is a larger playscape located here as opposed to the other park. This is roughly a 1 acre patch of land that is well utilized with paved walkways, benches, pool, and covered play scape with swings. There is also a nice short gravel pathway with benches and the entire property is ringed with a 4 foot perimeter fence. There are bathrooms located within the pool area along with plenty of seating and there's even a book depository box next to the playscape, but no grills. Just one block south of this park you'll run into Stoney Creek park and it's paved trails (Battenburg Trail) that run along a creek. This is definitely a very nice HOA park for the local residents, not the general public.

Cat Hollow Pool is like the San Antonio Spurs of neighborhood pools. It's not the newest or the flashiest pool. It's just a damn good pool. Cat Hollow Pool has clean cool water. It's not dirty or over-chemed. It is seldom over-crowded. The grounds are well-maintained. Open hours are very generous (open until 9 pm almost every night), and the pool is well-staffed with a crew of lifeguards. My toddler enjoys the shaded kiddie area, and my little guys enjoy the deeper sections and small water slides. The annual pass for a family is a bargain, Perhaps it would be nice if Cat Hollow had a bigger, windier water slide or a zero-entry pool for the kids. Maybe a few more splash pad features or a reliable snack and drink machine would be cool. That said, as far as water-filled holes in the ground go, this one is pretty darn good.

But be warned there are many kids...as it sits ON the school grounds!! The parking chaotic because its the school, but the pool itself is super nice. It got a little packed there for a while, no doubt. But the they offer floatation devices such as kick boards and noodles etc. There is one lap lane, I believe. The pool is from 4ft to 12'10" I think is what it said. There is a diving board as well, which is really nice. Fairly large pool, nice area. All concrete walk to and from. I liked it a lot. My kids and hubs did as well.
