THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Not only did they bring my…read morepool back to life but he explained the do's and don'ts. Signing up for regular maintenance was super easy and within my budget.

The Good: The…read moreservicers/pool technicians are thoughtful, thorough, and helpful and do a good job maintaining the pool. I was on a weekly service plan, and the service was smooth other than the summer's heat. Note: In the summer heat or if you have lots of use during the summer, you will need to shock or add chemicals yourself. They don't make return visits in between jobs. The Bad: Service is inconsistent. 1.) Setup on a Tuesday, all good until the techs don't show up, and then you'll have to ask what happened, and you'll be on a new schedule. My schedule changed more than four times in 6 months. 2.) When it rained, and I called to be rescheduled, the GPS Onwer said there are five weeks in a month, and they only do four services. He was short on the phone and said they would take care of it next week. I ended up servicing the pool myself Communication is inconsistent. This is not a proactive service. The customer must probe on what is happening around service or questions. Be careful what is said; the owner is sensitive and short in temper and may not know what the tech is doing. No Ownership / Accountability for Issues. If you have an issue, you will not get a resolution. 1.) I gave a technician a Psyclone Filter Cleaner; he said the owner would give me a discount/credit on my bill; when I asked about it, the owner did not know and said that he fired a technician; it must have been him. I lost a filter cleaner ($300), and the Owner did nothing. 2.) I was on holiday for 3 weeks, and I returned to the house and found the pool pump running with no water circulation. The pump plumbing was so hot I estimate the pump had been running 8 hours a day for at least a week. If you look at the pics below, you can see the technician crushed the white internal filter tube when re-installing the filter cartridge. I took pictures, fixed the issue, and emailed the owner what had happened and that I would hold his company accountable for any damage. The GPS Pool Cleaner Owner showed up at the house, and I showed the owner what happened to the white tube and that the heat of the pool pump without water damaged o-rings in a cross pipe that is now leaking. He stated that I threatened him because I asked him to be accountable for the services that I pay him to provide. The Owner of GPS Pool then used unprofessional language telling me how old the equipment was, I had terrible pools, that they have problems, and that any problem was not his responsibility. He fired me as a customer and refused to hear any further explanation. Oh yes, he did try to blame everything on a technician he fired. I asked when he was fired with no response. I have video footage from May 11th - May 14 that shows the GPS pool technician servicing on May 11th, and on May 12th, you can see the pump slowly losing power and eventually not producing any filtering by the end of the 12th. By May 13, the pool was no longer filtering. How can he say it's not his fault when the evidence is overwhelming, and his tech was the last to service the equipment? I will be posting to YouTube soon. In short, don't expect any resolution; pool owners, beware.

We had Stacation install a pool hoping for it to be ready by Spring Break for the grandkids to…read moreenjoy. They did it and the pool/spa is great. According to the app used to control the pump speed, it is much more efficient than I expected. I have never had a pool before, so learning how to correct the pool chemicals has been a learning experience, especiallybwith our private well water, but was able to it to get all tests to pass. Staycation resolved every question or concern. Responses were very fast since they use an app where everyone on the project gets copied.

My experience with this company was extremely frustrating and disappointing due to consistent…read morecommunication failures, poor workmanship, and a lack of accountability throughout the project. First, there was confusion regarding the spa system. The contract explicitly specified a blower, yet I was repeatedly told it was a venturi system. I had to repeatedly defend and re-explain my own contract until they finally confirmed what was already documented. HOA submission guidance was also contradictory. I was initially told to reject incorrect materials, but later informed that "generic" selections would be used to gain approval. This raises serious concerns about their process, and I believe HOAs in the San Antonio area would be interested to know this approach may be used. Second, project coordination was inadequate. I had to repeatedly remind staff about irrigation sleeves under the patio, which would have been missed without my involvement. The concrete subcontractor was unaware. While I was told it was "documented," it clearly was not communicated to the field. Anything beyond a basic scope required constant oversight from me. Third, design changes were poorly handled. Adding steps was discussed early but deferred. When included via change order, the drawings were incorrect, resulting in an unsafe step height. Even when sub-contractor flagged it before the pour, no action was taken. When I raised concerns that evening, responses were delayed and dismissive, including unprofessional communication. Fourth, the spa masonry work is unacceptable. While the stone was fine, the top caps and waterfall tile were inconsistently installed, leaving large gaps and visible caulking. When I asked if the caulk line could be reduced, the mason began to agree but was interrupted by the owner, who insisted it was "standard." Corrections were later acknowledged, but the proposed fix exposed further errors. I agreed to a quoted change order, but the final price was increased. There was no accountability or effort to honor the original price. Fifth, site management and closeout were poor. Multiple requests were required to remove debris, leaving my yard in unacceptable condition, resembling a gravel pit. The pool was also turned over dirty despite repeated requests to clean it before pool school. Finally, I was concerned by the company's conduct outside the project. After anonymously seeking advice online, the owner inserted himself into the discussion and attempted to control the narrative despite not being identified. Overall, this project showed a pattern of deflection, poor communication, substandard work, and lack of ownership. I strongly recommend others proceed with caution. Update to Staycation Response: Kelley argued rather than reading the contract-poorly handled. The HOA concern is not misleading, and I did not request anything on a rushed timeline. You deceive HOAs to get approval. Claims that I requested extra work "during" construction are false; I discussed a Phase 2 patio/sidewalk after completion, and with you as well. I never berated anyone over $100, and all change orders were paid in full as shown. I have documented evidence (I'll post), including time-stamped photos (today), supporting all my statements and showing final conditions. I never threatened with a 1-star review for no-cost. Documented evidence shows how you handled this gave you a 5 to 1. You fabricate, lie and misrepresent to discredit me. Conduct outside the project refers to the public Facebook response, which speaks for itself.
