I recently had a consultation at Cape & Islands Plastic Surgery with Dr. Loffredo, and while I was initially enthusiastic about the appointment, my experience was deeply disappointing. The administrative staff were warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, which made for a pleasant initial interaction. Unfortunately, my consultation with Dr. Loffredo did not meet professional expectations. During our brief interaction, approximately 10 minutes, he was dismissive and spoke over me throughout the conversation. Despite asking questions, he repeatedly interrupted my responses, which made it difficult to feel heard or respected as a patient. Additionally, the nurse present in the room demonstrated a similar lack of professionalism. As a nurse myself, I hold fellow healthcare professionals to a high standard, and I found the behavior of both Dr. Loffredo and his nurse to be discourteous and unprofessional. Following the appointment, Dr. Loffredo contacted me by phone and spoke in a manner I found abrupt and inappropriate. Given the nature of this experience, I would not return to this practice, regardless of cost. While I had heard positive things about Cape & Islands Plastic Surgery, I can only assume those reviews pertain to other providers within the practice! read more

Went to the office in Plymouth for initial consultation for Breast Reduction. My current insurance was MassHealth, which did not seem to be an issue at the time. I was asked to loose some weight prior to the surgery, which I did, and than contacted the office for a follow up visit in order to have the procedure scheduled. Upon the next phone call, I was informed that MASSHEALTH DOES NOT COVER breast reduction surgery, something you would think would be mentioned prior to any visits. I asked for the name and number of the employee who handles billing. I left messages regarding this issue, in order to see what might be able to be done for this procedure to take place. The billing department NEVER returned any of my calls. Extremely unprofessional, as well as the office staff that seemed very annoyed with my calls. Skip forward, went to another practice. Customer Service was Night and Day, and low and behold my procedure was covered by MASSHEALTH. If the office chooses not not accept this insurance, I would've not had an issue, just have the courtesy of telling me, instead of wasting my time. MASSHEALTH does cover this procedure and if anyone is looking for an amazing center... Longwood Plastic Surgery will gladly accept you, and the staff is beyond kind. Dr. Seth Jones is one of the gentlest & kindest doctors that I have been to on Cape Cod. My first encounter with this great doctor was in the capacity of him being a dermatologist. I had a mole in particular that I was worried could be cancerous. He knew right away that it was not, and he told me that. But since I was concerned about it he said that he would follow up on it in a few months if I wanted to. In my opinion most doctors would've just pooh-poohed the whole thing. But Dr. Jones respected what I had to say and truly listened to me. He cared about the fact that I was worried about this mole. Just over a week ago I had another scheduled appointment with him regarding the same mole. At that time he told me again he really didn't think that it was anything for me to worry about but he biopsied it at my sincere request. Not many doctors would've taken me so seriously I'm sure. While I was at his office his entire staff gave me a genuine welcoming feeling and I felt like I was valued by everybody there. And also while I was in his office I noticed a brochure about a procedure which is called cool body sculpting. Especially as I have gained some weight over the last year or two, I decided to give that a try. I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about doing such a thing to go to Dr. Jones's office! Once again I felt like I was treated like royalty. This procedure was explained to me completely and I had no surprises. It's only been a week out from that procedure but I feel like it is working much better than I ever dreamed it would. Highly recommend! read more
