So getting the "bad" out of the way first. 1) If you buy multiple cannoli flavors it's difficult to figure out which is which. 2) Their cannoli cream texture is a little off. 3) Some flavors are a little blander than others. Now the good. 1) The people are nice. 2) The cannolis are colorful and fun. 3) They offer a bunch of flavors. 4) They offer 2 different sizes. 5) Their cannoli shells are awesome. Other reviewers mentioned the long lines and wait but keep in mind this is a food truck. They have very limited space to work and high demand can seriously deplete popular flavors. Cape Cod Cannolis is a cute concept and definitly a winner in New England. The truck is in different locations all around the area so call first or visit their website to find out where they will be located. I found the staff to be very helpful despite the long lines. The menu was filled with so many choices which made it difficult to decide. In the end I went with traditional cannoli. It was good, but the texture could have been creamier and less grittiness. I like that there is something for everyone. My niece liked the salted caramel one the best. I hope that they tune up this truck and make their product even better by the next time I am in town! read more

I went to the Cannoli Festival in Leominster, MA and this is the worse cannoli I had in my life! The texture of the cream reminded me of Play Doh and it tasted like it, too! I swear, I could mold figurines with the cream. The flavors were tasteless and flat. I love cannolis, and this is my favorite dessert. Imagine the let down when you stand in line in the hot sun and pay an exuberant amount of money for the worst cannoli in your entire life. RACISM Alert! I'm going to explain this as calmly as I'm able because I'm one of those people who was taught to respect everyone especially our elders. So I'm standing in a line to buy cannolis from cape cod Canolis truck in Leominster, MA cannoli festival. The line is incredibly long and we wait patiently (with 4 kids, youngest being 21 months) for (I kid you not) 2 hours. Finally, and the kids being over joyed, our turn comes. The white Woman and daughter in front of us get their order taken and when I move up in line (I'm visibly a Muslim woman in headscarf, brown skin color, as proud American as one can be), and start to place my order but the grandma who is taking my order focuses on preparing the order for the woman who is waiting (all well and good in the name of customer service). Next thing I know, she is secretly whispering (hand cuffed over mouth) to the lady ahead of me "did they cut the line". Waits for the lady to reply in the negative and proceed to make a bleh face while taking my order. Imagine your little ones (7 and 9) jumping with joy that they're about to get their Oreo cannoli and imagine a sour faced grandma looking at them. Anyhow, even ignoring that, remember how she waited to take our order and completed the other ladies order prior to us, well, she proceeded to take the next person in lines order while we waited. Handed over the boxes of Canolis (we had 6), no smile, nothing. My husband likes to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, saying that "it's been a long day for them too" we move on. However, when we open the box, our order is messed up and we can't even tell the flavors apart. My husband and friend go back to ask her about a cannoli we are missing (they gave us the wrong flavor) and she was down right irritated with them. She did give us the Oreo cannoli but when we asked her to help us tell them apart she stated "I can't tell"...mmmm, you guys make these..... Anyhow, I will count this as my first encounter of racism. Just sad that my kids had to witness this, my kids who are also raised to be respectful of all and specially our elders. What a disappointment. read more

In the beginning, the woman who runs it had her own bakery, Cakes By Lil. She sold custom-made cakes along with her cannolis. The rent got to be too much, so she bought a truck, fixed it up, and Cape Cod Cannolis was born! They have everything from plain, chocolate, and vanilla, to fruit flavors like apple, raspberry, key lime, strawberry, blueberry, and pineapple. Snickerdoodle, Hazelnut, M&M, multiple cheesecake flavors, and even puppy cannolis for dogs! With so much to pick from, there's a taste everyone will enjoy. Small cannolis are $3 each, and large are $5. You can buy your own cannoli making kit of single flavor bags and cannoli shells if you're having a big crowd, or ask about renting her service for your gathering. It can be tough to pin down exactly where she is to be found sometimes, but visit her website at www.capecodcannolis.com for locations, and her contact info. She does various festivals and special town events, so ask to be added to the email list. My personal favorites are apple, strawberry cheesecake, and cappucino. Shells are always crisp when first purchased, but they get soggy over time, so for best results, eat ASAP. I don't think the cannolis are that great. Texture is kind of strange as stated in a previous review. On top of that, the woman who took my order was very rude and curt...seemed annoyed with any questions. You can only order packs of cannolis (if you want more than one) which is annoying as well. So I order 6 and walk away. As I'm waiting, the person behind me orders and the woman puts her bare hands on the cannolis in a napkin. The woman ordering shudders and makes a comment about the no glove thing (and rightfully so). The woman taking the order responds rudely that the man in the back has gloves on...doesn't seem to realize that she herself doesn't so the patron declines the cannoli and leaves. Cape Cod Cannolis is not to miss. My mother is quite picky when it comes to her Italian desserts. I've brought home other cannolis, only to have her scoff at them. Christmas 2013, I brought home these cannolis. Finally! Mom was pleased. I bought twelve shells and Lilly put the filling in a bag for me. I was traveling to Connecticut and didn't want them to get soggy overnight. The next night, Christmas dinner's dessert featured Lilly's cannolis. I've often seen this food truck at PVD food truck Friday's. Compared to all the other trucks that frequent the event the older woman that works at the window of this truck is always very rude and seems irritated that she has to deal with customers. The cannolis themselves are pretty good, there are many flavors to choose from but the filling texture is a little bit off putting. Two star rating isn't for the cannolis, it's for the miserable woman behind the window! She rudely asked if me and my friends wanted any napkins and when my friend asked if she could repeat herself (because there was music playing and lots of commotion around) she rudely replied in a very sarcastic tone. And proceeded to drop out cannolis onto the ledge in front of the window. The cannolis were decent but the service has been terrible the 3 times I've gone!!! Had eyed this truck at Mashpee Commons this summer. But didn't get the opportunity to visit. Was glad to see it at the Food Truck Festival in Quincy yesterday. Such a nice pair run this truck. They clearly love what they do. Offered us delicious samples of their flavors before we purchased. Walked away with a half a dozen multi flavored cannolis for the family members that missed out on the festival. They'll be back in Mashpee next weekend for Oktoberfest. Well worth a visit! FYI. Great party concept....they also offer bags of unfilled cannolis along with bags of your favorite flavors. Guests would get a kick out of making their own. read more
