These pies are outstanding. We ordered the apple pie and the pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. We were able to place the order up in advance. The staff was friendly, fun and answered all my questions . We picked up the pies at the appointed time and had them for Thanksgiving. They were absolutely DELICIOUS. In fact the pumpkin pie may have been one of the best pies I've ever tasted. Silky, smooth and spiced just right . I have tried their other pies before, chocolate pie, chicken pot pie and their quiche. Pies range in price from $12-32; an affordable dinner (or dessert) Pies a la Mode is housed in an unimpressive strip mall, near a gas station, a dry cleaner, and a yoga studio. It was a takeout-only spot long before COVID. Since it's Cape Cod, they offer lobster pie and lobster pasties. Their apple and peach pies are luscious and sweet. Their shepherd's pie is filling and hearty. The mashed potato topping is so flavorful it can stand on its own. The unexpected delight is the BBQ pulled pork pie. New England is not known for BBQ, and this is some of the spiciest, most delicious BBQ I've had. Pies a la Mode shows it's a piece of cake! read more

First off, I want to say that I've heard alot of good things about Pies a La Mode. I've always wanted to try one. Today, I was driving by and decided to stop in. The girl behind the counter was very nice. I chose a French Meat Pie, and I was looking forward to it for dinner, as was my wife and family. I cooked it at 350 for 1hr 10 mins. The crust was golden brown and it looked beautiful. The inside of the pie was stuffed with meat and potatoes. The problem was it was dry. Very very dry. It was so dry, it was inedible. There was no moisture in it at all. We threw 3/4 of it away and had to get dinner at McDonald's. I am very dissatisfied with the product. I'm not one to write Yelp reviews, but the pie was so bad, it ruined our night. I apologize for my tone, but it's just disappointing. read more

I stopped by to check out the pies. The employees were very friendly but, I was disappointed in the pie I bought. It was the Chocolate Cream. The crust was undercooked and tough with the chocolate cream bland and rather gummy. Not much chocolate flavor. The redeeming touch was the fresh whipped cream. Other offerings looked good but I found the prices a bit high. $12 for a small pie where I can get a large pie for that anywhere else. Sorry but not worth it. read more

A great local business. Yesterday was a tough day for them but as always they provide great food and a great customer experience.

The owner Jean was very sweet and showed passion for her products, selling homemade items to the public. We bought BBQ Pork pie, Gobbler, Strawberry and Peach pie, chicken pie, and Veggie Chilli and 2 pasties to go! We have eaten BBQ pork pie, the Gobbler and Strawberry and Peach pies. The pasties were being eaten as we left the store! The Food is so delicious, I will be shopping there more often, I live in Plymouth and its worth the ride for sure. This week I bought a Chicken Pot Pie as I have quite often in the past. The price had recently gone up to $24 but I can live with that. But the quality of the pie was no where as good as in the past. The crust was fine but the center of the pie was bland and had much less chicken and vegetables than I have received in the past. Not sure if there is a new cook or owner but the pie I received was disappointing and was not in keeping with the previous reputation of this shop. Sorry to say but true !! read more
