First, the selection here is huge, we all had a very hard time deciding if we were doing ice cream, baklava, Dubai specialities, etc. Customer service was top notch. My single scoop of Key Lime had a ton of cake chunks, and the Reesie's sundae was loaded with chocolate cake. It was delicious--but definitely more of a treat-yourself moment than a regular stop for me. The vibe inside is super fun and colorful--tons of eye candy (literally and decor-wise). The male at the window taking orders was rather rude and condescending when asking about ice cream flavors and customer favorites. This place is always IMPOSSIBLE to get help from. My first review was as a direct customer who placed a to go order online, I still had to wait in line behind tons of people and eventually just left and took the hit ($ wise). This time as a gig worker picking up someone's order (for a single banana split) they refuse to help to go orders/grubhub/doordashers etc without making you wait in a gigantic line. It's disheartening because as gig workers we are pushed heavily on our time.. if it's not doable I feel like ice screamin shouldn't offer pickup. Two times I went to get a vanilla blossom and was told they were out of vanilla ice cream. What who runs out of vanilla ice cream? I've been trying to order the baklava when it was in season and was told they were out of pistachio. Both times I got my money back and left Last night I went and wow I can get a vanilla blossom. The problem is that I paid $17 and didn't get what I ordered. I got one scoop of vanilla ice cream with whip cream and sprinkles and a small piece of cake with whip cream and sprinkles. Way overpriced and absolute 1-star product. Nothing much else I can say but it was a massive disappointment in quality.

So a few friends and I went there around 9:30pm we ordered pistachio ice cream one scoop which was fine (the only thing) a Cotten candy milk shake, and a strawberry cheesecake malt. So the Cotten candy milk shake only tasted like milk which wasn't that big of a deal, so we just delt with it but $7.99 for milk slushy we'll pass on that. But then we get to the real problem, the strawberry cheesecake malt. I brought it over to our table sat down and immediately my friend noticed a long black hair in the malt. Which it happens understandably, granted hairnets would help solve that problem but nobody was wearing one out of the 3 staff that were there. So I took it back up to the counter immediately and the young girl asked what was wrong I said there was a hair in the drink she took it to one of the other girls in the back (didn't say anything to me) and talked over for a minute or two. She came back to me and I asked if we could just have another one she said they were out of that conveniently, and if they were still should have offered us something more but they didn't not even a apology or a sorry at least, so my friend just wanted a refund! Which is understandable her drink was $9 and some change after standing there for about ten minutes they were at the computer trying to figure out how to issue a refund to the point they had to call someone (good to know management isn't there to handle things past a certain time) and if one of them was a manager.... Then that speaks volumes on they're quality of service! So they finally offered cash and gave us $10.63 back which isn't even the right change back, so we got money back which yeah sure that's nice but simple math is difficult?!? It's very very simple comp any item that was of equal value would have been the right thing to do and APOLOGIZE not just ignore it like it didn't happen. I have been coming to Ice Screamin I believe since the beginning part of 2018. I started to come with my mom and friend regular because we fell in love with their homemade ice cream. The flavors there are delicious and perfectly balanced. Now I just want to state, I have had bad employees from time to time when I order, who do not communicate well. This has made me sometimes rethink coming back but more times then not I am greeted by friendly happy employees or even sometimes the owner of the business when ordering. I am not going to lie either and say that you always get quick service. (When visiting definitely prepared to sometimes wait awhile due to a ice cream machines being down or a large amount of orders at once.) But please don't let those rare occasions of slow service and periodic rude employees (that I rarely see again) let you be turned off from trying this place. My personal favorite is toasted coconut, I later tried the Superman flavor. To be honest I was a little bit scared to try some thing outside of my usual and was a bit skeptical. But it is amazing, it was not at all what I imagined it would taste like, it is a little bit fruity like I thought it would, but it is not too fruity but is on the sweet side, it is beautifully balanced though. My mom's favorite flavor is the toasted coconut. My friend's favorite is the cookies n' cream. I personally recommend trying any of their fine flavors because they are delicious. Each time try something new there, I fall in love with it. I highly recommend visiting this place and getting their ice cream. I would hate to see them go like other smaller businesses around them are because of COVID-19. They have so many flavors, toppings, and cones to offer, as well as really fun and creative specialty ice cream desserts. In summary, whether your headed to or back from a trip to the beach on a hot summer day, or your like me who thinks that it is never to cold outside for ice cream.
