He was able to connect with the kids, the skateboard lovers and anybody that's willing to have an open mind to hear the knowledges that he spits. I'm a quad roller skate gal.. And my son loves skateboard. So shops like these, catches our attention. But It seem as tho no one in Charlotte NC can get him to look forward to come back to the shop like this dude.. He showed us all the new gears. What's good for skaters. What's works, the don't and what he prefer to wear or buy.. Then he introduced us to the sale items.. I left my son to shop as he pleases within a budget. It's nice to come to a shop that have staffs who is knowledgeable, in tune with the products they offers and provide great customer service.

went in with my daughter 3 nights ago and immediately out the gate the "big boss man" or so he…read moreseems is screaming at a female employee over tshirts!!! i chose to ignore it thinking maybe i walked into something at the wrong time and didn't hear the full thing then at checkout a young worker helped my daughter out with her toy and then threw away the trash for us because she wanted it right then and there which i thought was so amazing and we all (me my husband and daughter) was just so appreciative of well the little girl checking out behind of us wanted the same thing so the parents paid for the toy and the worker helped open it i hear the manager RUNNING and SCREAMING at this employee in front of God and everyone in this whole store i was absolutely sick i was about to buy more things i just put them back and left. i wasn't gonna write a review because im not a local i'm all the way from west virginia and ive never seen anyone treat their employees like this.. again i was gonna let it go but today's the last day of my vacation and i needed a boogie board for my daughter and i seen the manager in there and it made me mad all over again. i hope the manager doesn't see this and take it out on the employees but i wish i would've gotten to see the boy again that helped my daughter open her squishy so i could tell him thank you and i appreciate what he done for us that night, this is an amazing little town i hope him and the gorgeous little colored girl go somewhere else to work where they're appreciated and i hope im not stepping on anyone's toes writing this

Ok so Tsunami is a good shop for name brands like Reef, Hurley, Volcom, Sanuk, Oakley, Billabong, etc. They have toys and beach gear for little ones. Boogie boards, SUPs, skateboards, and even Elvis towels! Did you hear me, Elvis people!! Also they have the hokey glass dolphin trinkets that seem to still be stocked on shelves even though its not 1976 anymore... Yeah... Epic

Staff were incredibly helpful, to the point of pulling all the small sized flannels, hoodies, and jackets and giving them to my son to try on. Great selection of clothing that is easy to find based on brand, men's, women's, kids, etc. While my son was trying on I checked out the new and used boards and found a few that I'd love to add to my quiver. The used boards were in very good shape and were market prices. Love that they also support local non-profits via the Mustache for Kids charity foundation.

Beware of their return policy! Worst experience Ive had in years of shopping daily online. I bought…read morea set of tensor trucks and tried them inside on a rug for less than a minute and knew I didnt like them becasue they were to turny so I packed them up nicely to return them. Then realized I had to pay $10 for the return but no big deal I should have known that. When they receive the trucks they wont accept them becasue they have been mounted and there are small marks at the mount points and if I want them back I have to pay for shipping again. I complain and we go back and forth a bit but I lose and pay another $10 for shipping to get them back where they just sit in a pile. Ive spent 1000s since then but always make sure to avoid this place and stick to SkateWarehouse where they always have 60 days free returns or Tactics, CCS, TGM, NHS or anywhere else. If I were them I would have kept the trucks with the mark and sold them at a small discount and keep me as a customer. They would have made much more money.
