He really listened to the type of haircut I was looking for. He analyzed photos of what I liked and didn't like about my previous haircuts. He thoroughly explained in detail, the way he was going to cut my hair and the result I could expect. While he was doing my hair, I recognized the cutting methods that my former stylist in New York City used, to achieve similar results. I appreciate that Ryan suggested giving me a moisturizing treatment (due to bleaching damage from the past), as well as recommending products to use on my hair at home, in order to regain my hair health. I had such a nice experience here. As someone who has always struggled with finding a stylist I left Theory so happy. Dawn took such great care of me and really listened to the feedback and styling I was looking for. I have always had really long and thick hair and she did a fantastic job with the things I wanted. My stylist was rushed and distracted in the middle of a process with another client. Everyone in here has an air of being better than everyone else. It's very uncomfortable & crowded. And they charge sooo much for these stuck up stylists. I was charged over $100 for trimming my ends and my bangs on dry hair. (No wash, or styling) I was really looking for a long term stylist/salon but this place felt pretentious & overpriced. And after reception kept changing my appointments i decided to never go back. What a mess.
