He truly cares about doing what is right and best for his customers and the environment. We had gotten several estimates from other companies, and the communication with those companies was severely lacking. Kevin's quote was less than half the price and his work also encompassed cleaning and clearing up significantly more area than what we were quoted from the others. While he was working, he stopped several times to confirm he cleared exactly what we had requested. Mercer to come in and clear the property line around the perimeter (staying on my property) which is within my legal rights AND THEY DID AWESOME! The fact that the clearing was done along a fence which was not damaged and there are animals inside the fence I can't help. It wasn't our intention to bother the animals and surely wasn't intended. Your property is surrounded by a higher fence and gate, we live in the country, we mind our own business and not going around and tell everyone our business the same as I don't expect anyone else to. What you do on your property is your business same as us. They were able to come out first thing the following morning to take a look at the situation, turned the water valves all the way on, and sent me a detailed quote while they were still there (unfortunately they initially sent it to a wrong number so someone has my personal data :/ ). Pricing was on the higher end of what I expected, and I was planning to get estimates from other companies that responded on Yelp to compare, so I let them know I would be in contact. Later that evening, I went back downstairs and noticed a leak coming from the main water valve, which was not leaking prior to the drain guys' visit. I immediately sent a message with a video via yelp, and the rep responded saying they would contact the plumber and get back to me. It's been almost 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back, which is interesting as they were so quick to respond when I was potentially giving them business, but ghosted me when I held them accountable for causing a leak. Thankfully, a plumber from another company that responded to my yelp project came by and was able to tighten the valve to stop the leaking. Turns out the drain guys plumber had loosened the entire pipe/valve when he turned the knob all the way on, so it was a simple fix but something that they should have looked out for in the moment. Had I waited for the drain guys to come back my basement would have been flooded. I'm utterly disappointed in their lack of accountability and communication, and have no trust in their services if they were able to let me down on such a small matter.

They were friendly, professional, and attentive to detail. The work took several hours longer than expected because of the rocky soil and the depth of the gas line, but they finished the installation in one day (returning briefly the next morning to replace the concrete in the garage where the new pipe entered the house). In addition, their bid was significantly lower than the bids from two other contractors. We recommend this company for doing fine work at a reasonable cost.

I called ClearPath at 10pm with a snow/ice/snowcrete emergency (my car got stuck when someone tried driving it out of the snowcrete without first clearing a path), hoping to maybe be squeezed into their schedule in the morning. Gernain warmly reassured me he would get me out real quick, quoted less than we'd have paid for a tow (which would have still left us without a parking spot and taken several hours), and showed up within half an hour! He worked with remarkable speed and care, not dinging the car. Realizing he had deserved more, I called him the next day to come back with his team to clear the three (!) crosswalk curb cuts around our property, since my son had managed to shovel the walk before the ice but couldn't handle the post-plow icebergs. He gave me a reasonable expectation of when he'd show up, and reassured me we'd agree on a price before starting the work. After assessing the situation on location, he asked me to name my price so he wouldn't overcharge me. I knew that since he had already driven out to me, I could risk accidentally lowballing him and he'd just reveal his price, but my point in having called him was the opposite. He then didn't accept my overly high offer and knocked it down a bit, ostensibly because he had just done work for us the night before. (I wouldn't expect anyone to then knock it all the way down to their actual price!) Then, upon request, Gernain salted the crosswalks he had dug out, and was prepared to remove the trash (the empty container). I'm pleased with all our interactions and look forward to working together again.
