First off, they required me to pay **50% upfront** before doing any work, insisting on payment through **Cash App** or **Venmo**--which should have been a huge red flag. I trusted them and made the payment, but after that... **radio silence**. I didn't hear from them for a full **three weeks** after handing over the deposit. When I called to check on the status of the job, they didn't even know I had paid the deposit. Daniel had previously told me that they could get the job done within a couple of weeks, but now, **three weeks** had passed with no progress. Finally, after calling again, I was told the earliest they could do the job was almost **five weeks out**--and they already had my deposit. The owner, **Daniel**, came out to give the estimate and made all sorts of promises about how great the job would be. He even assured me he could **hide our electrical wiring**, which **never happened**. Before sending the deposit, I spoke to **Julie** at the office and emailed her a picture of what I wanted done. She confirmed it would be no problem and assured me she'd send the details over to Daniel. Everything seemed set, so I sent the **$2,500 deposit** via **Cash App**--huge mistake. When the crew finally showed up to do the work, **nobody knew anything about the design** I requested. I was told they could do it, but it would cost an **extra $700** because they needed to drive **10 miles** back to their shop to get a different stamp. A **10-mile trip** that would have taken **maybe 30 minutes** round-trip. They refused to work with us or compromise at all, making it clear that if I wanted the job done, I'd have to pay more. There was also NO consideration for the 60 square feet less that was not done. The patio was quoted at 15x16 and what was done was 15x12. The staff and owner was unwilling to do anything to help resolve the issue. As a homeowner, you're left feeling completely **screwed**. They had already taken my **$2,500** through Cash App, and I knew I wasn't getting it back. It's impossible to dispute or get a refund once money is sent that way, and they know it. The install crew finished the work in day, clean up crew came out a day later, and finishing crew a couple days after that to put sealant on.

To date, they have not followed up with the promised visit and have ceased all communication with me. Terrible customer service - all I want at this point is someone to come out and take a look and explain to me why my new front walk looks they way it does.

He took over an hour to measure everything and sent me the lumber quote he received so that I was fully informed, then we talked labor. He would point out problematic areas (like rotting framing) and would ask me if I wanted to have it replaced rather than just covering it up with the new surface. He did an amazing job that had my mom's tenants and the neighbors complementing the work and I felt the price was very reasonable. Based on that job, I brought him out to take a look at my townhouse to possibly replace the siding and he suggested sanding, priming and painting instead due to the price of replacement. They sanded almost every square inch of it, primed it (in some areas twice) with a peeling paint primer that is like glue to fill in gaps and keep the rest of the old paint from peeling, and then put a double coat over everything. When they finished, I was surprised to find that they had power washed our patio, porch, and front half-height fence and even painted the fence though we never talked about doing any of that work.
