I got my first spray tan with Meg here and it was great. The team at Capital Cryo is professional and I felt completely comfortable being sprayed down by the team. I spent this summer traveling, the UAE, Florida, Western Caribbean and I got an AMAZING tan, but what wasn't amazing was my tan lines. My tan wasn't even, depending on what was covered, determined what wasn't tanned. So getting a spray tan was key, while the spray tan wasn't able to perfect my tan, it did even it out to a degree, and the shade they chose for me looked so good. The tan got on my workout clothes a little, I do not recommend wearing skin tight clothes after getting a spray tan but it washes out immediately! read more

Very friendly staff...facility is a little wonky and you have walk out of the changing room barefoot out the common foot traffic area and then into your unit covered by a curtain that does quite offer privacy. The real reason I'm writing this post, and I DONT EVEN YELP, is the condition of the unit. I frequent one of the locations closer to my house A LOT, which is much friendlier to use...and cleaner. My unit's door didn't fully close so it didn't quite as hot as I like to sauna, there was salt build up on the salt panels , dust bunny's in crevasses, and the floor was dirty. Usually I'd just say something directly and not write a review, but SOMEONE looked inside this sauna and said good enough for a paying customer. Well dear someone, it's not. My boyfriend and I tried cryotherapy today and we both loved it! We both stand on our feet a lot and suffer from back pain too as well, as soon as we were done with the session, we felt the differences immediately. My muscles feel less tight and a general sense of relaxation kicks in! We will definitely come back! The service is excellent! Highly recommend. read more

I tried cryo on the recommendation of one of my trainers at my gym. I was greeted by Liz, a bubbly and wonderful manager of the Bethesda location. She was friendly and personable, and took the time to honestly and completely explain cryo and answer my questions. She was very open and flexible if I couldn't make it through the first session's total three minutes (I could, no biggie, but I appreciated not being pressured to). I think it's always a little nerve-wracking to try something new, especially when it involves your naked body in frigid temps, but the facial and full cryo session I had, plus Liz's positive impact on my experience, has me coming back for more! read more

The services that we have received here have been excellent. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. They contact us in order to try to schedule an appointment which is very convenient because we are last-minute people. Liz was who I entrusted to spray tan me, my mom, and my sister for my wedding day and all of our pre-wedding festivities (my Mom had never gotten one before!) and then I promptly took my best friend to her a year later for her wedding day glow after our stellar experiences. She's always so welcoming and friendly, but also keeps it professional so you feel especially comfortable. I've done both cryotherapy and the cryo facial with Liz as well. Cryotherapy was something I always wanted to try but was a little apprehensive. So while visiting my sister we decided to try it together. I'm so glad we did! Upon walking in we met the owners who couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. It was SO invigorating! 3 minutes in the tank goes fast. The owner talks you through it and keeps your mind off the cold. Feels like pins and needles mainly on your legs. My arthritic knees felt great and my muscles felt great. We went back the next day! The second session was easier because we knew what to expect. I plan on doing it every time I visit and will look into finding a place this good back at home. If you want to do something good for your body you need to try it. All the research says it's really good for all of our aches, pains, injuries..even helps us sleep a little better.
