I'm only writing this now as I'm going to other doctors to have revision surgery and finally have the courage to do so. I went in with wanting lipo under my chin to define my jawline, instead he was extremely aggressive and said I should have a chin implant and buccal fat removal. He assured me the recovery time would be minimal but it took weeks to recover. The worst is the chin implant-which I never wanted- has caused permanent nerve damage in my chin. I can't feel the right side of my chin and lip area 5 years later. I expressed concern after my surgery which he dismissed and said it's normal. Definitely not normal as I can't feel my chin and my smile which I loved before has been permanently altered. I would never recommend Dr. Schoenfeld to anyone.

I received quite a few compliments that I look great! What's really great is there is no downtime. I didn't even need Tylenol. The next day back to work. I've been reading that Hollywood actors have this done before the Oscars or other occasions. I was diagnosed with rosacea and treated with doxycycline, Plexion, and later metronidazole. Despite telling her that my forehead continued to worsen and that the sulfur products caused significant burning and irritation, my treatment continued along the same path. After seeking a second opinion from another dermatologist, I was diagnosed with acne instead. My treatment was changed and over the following months, my forehead improved dramatically. It is now virtually clear with no active spots. I understand that dermatologic diagnoses can sometimes change, but I was disappointed that my worsening condition did not lead to a reassessment of the diagnosis sooner. Those months were extremely stressful and had a significant impact on my quality of life. I am biracial Black and just wanted to fix a nose that was broken twice and never repaired in the United States Air Force. The original request was to stabilize and refine the tip of my nose. Unfortunately I ended up with a poor result with permanent rhinitis and headaches, uneven nostrils and a pug nose that requires over $20k to revise.
