They are second-rate on channel lineup, second-rate on reliability, second-rate on system upgrades, and second-rate in tormenting its customers. Yet, they try harder to be the best: Can you guess on which of the above they are trying to improve on? Yes, Dear Reader, they are channeling all of their energies to improving its torment level. I live in a condo complex where we're surrounded by the dominant cable demon Comcast yet our burg is strictly the province of this (wait for it) second-rate demon. We received a note stating that they wanted to upgrade our system to that fly-by-night unproven digital cable technology rolled out circa 2003. Called them to set up a time and they preferred that we all get scheduled on the same day. Simultaneous efficient torment. Great. Hoping that I could buy less pain by agreeing, this was all set up weeks ago. Per their guidance, I also forwarded a permission-to-enter form to my HOA office so that they could let those minions, er, technicians, into my home to do their thrashing. Arrived home yesterday at 4 PM to find a pink hangtag stating: "We couldn't get into your home. Please call 713.A.HAS.SLE to reschedule your visit." A smiley face was hand-drawn next to the word "Thanks", too. Why do I doubt the sincerity of this apology? Called the hassle hotline and told them of how I have complied with their sacrificial wishes and to grant me my cable TV boon. They said that the crews were still on site and would be routed to visit me since I was home now. Hours pass. Called again at 7 PM to follow up. Relayed the story again and was told that the crews are still onsite but I'm on the list. More hours pass. At 945 PM, I called and relayed the story for the third time. This time, the representative tells me that dispatch closes at 5 PM and if the "flash" message goes out after that, the minion-cum-tech doesn't respond. So, my 7 PM call and subsequent sitting at home was a complete waste of time. She offered an apology and a chance to reschedule for Saturday since it was the first day available. Of course, the range is from 8 AM to 5 PM. And, they promise to call 30 minutes in advance of the visit. Should I hold my breath for that? Utter failure as a service provider. I tell you what ... if you want a reason to start drinking in the morning, get you some TVMax. My building in my otherwise awesome apartment complex (Chateaux Dijon) has some sort of long-term agreement with TVMax. You can satellite-dish to your heart's content, but if for whatever reason (in my case, huge trees blocking where the dish would have to go) you want a cable coming into your house, TVMax it is. The technology is, as prior reviews indicate, subpar. It reminds me of back in the day when I had Phonoscope and there were no bells and whistles possible ... in, like, 1996. There are no HD channels. The program guide ... oh, dear Lord, give me strength. Let's say you're with Comcast and you see that some channel is showing "Poltergeist." You think, "Hey, what's that?" and you hit the guide button. Comcast will say "Poltergeist (1982). Craig T. Nelson, Jobeth Williams. A family's home is haunted by a host of ghosts." TVMax's guide will say "Poltergeist. A movie about ghosts." And that's when the guide is working, which is only about 80% of the time. Of the other 20%, at least half of that time, the guide has info in it, but it's erroneous. I'm no pop-culture hound by any means, but I have found that even I can tell a difference between Mythbusters and Sabado Gigante. Biggest drag about it all? Boyfriend works for Comcast. We could have every stinkin' service they offer for free, except for the lock on my complex TVMax has. Bottom line: unless you have a compelling reason to live in a TVMax complex, either a) reconsider and find a different place or b) get you a dish. You should be able to give negative stars. The customer service, sure they work for them. They don't care - they're getting paid either way. Everyday my internet goes out at minimum - once. I'm playing over $100 a month for a service that works, eh, sometimes. Yet I have to pay them in full. My apartment complex makes me choose between this or dish. THIS IS THE WORST Internet ever. I thought dial up was bad, no, this is bad. My Internet worked for 3 hours today then and hour later it worked again & it hasn't called sense. They tell me to unplug it from the back, unscrew the modem and just wait then I have to plug it back in. No, make your equipment work all the time. This place should not be in business! The ONLY way this company can possibly be still in business is that they have contracts with Apartment complexes. If you are looking into a new apartment and Wavevision is the cable & internet provider, RUN AWAY. They were formerly TV Max. Google "TV Max" and read all the horror stories. I believe this is EXACTLY the same company, but with a name change only. I assume they changed the name to try and turn over a new leaf or start scamming afresh. The (TV Max) tech that set up the service was amazing! 5 plus stars for that guy. The quality of the signal also seems excellent and the wi-fi fast and never down. So what's my problem? THEY ARE CROOKS and if you don't like it, F.U. (tough luck). Your choice is to pay what they decide (which I PROMISE you is not the amount you agree to when you sign up for service) or go without cable altogether. U-Verse, Comcast etc. are frozen out as part of the arrangement with apartment management. You will also be stuck with Clear or 3G on your phone if you don't want to pay what they feel like charging for wi-fi. Their monopoly also extends to the internet. I have received no paper bill in MONTHS (I did NOT sign up for paperless billing) and the on-line billing is a joke. Good look trying to make sense of it. Of course if you fail to remember to check on-line in a timely manner you will be charged late fees. No bill generated but they can charge late fees! Again, if you don't like it F.U. (tough luck). Only a complete idiot would trust these ----bags with automated billing ha ha. I finally managed to get hold of customer abuser rep last April that promised me a locked in rate for 12 months. In August I noticed a $7 increase. I called to complain and was told they were being assessed a new fee and had to pass it along to customers! I am self employed, and when I quote someone a rate for a job, that's what they pay regardless of whether my cost of doing business increases. Maybe that's one of the reasons I get repeat business? Now I checked last my bill on-line and it has increased another $15!!! That is now $22 more than the "locked in" joke rate that Jamie quoted me on 4/18/11 at 3.55pm. I called to complain again, was on hold for 20 minutes THEN transferred to Voicemail, and then GET THIS!!! - the Voicemail was full and no longer accepting messages!!! Wow Wavevision. I know a lot of people complain that their service is crap but it just depends on the location. Where I am at it rocks, the 10 Mbps package nets me around 8, which is normal. But the tv line up is great, very clear picture and all digital which me and my tv love. I will say that I am upset that the techs don't work weekends. I would rather them not work Monday if they would work Saturday. They could even charge a premium day charge if they scheduled you an appointment on a Saturday. read more

TVMax has been renamed WaveVision So far, they are 'ok'.. I work for a company that sells one of their competitors so I get the luxury of speaking to customers who have MANY different companies. They are middle of the pack I have their 'gold' package which includes around 200 channels, dvr, hbo and 10mpbs high speed internet. My bill is around $110 w/ taxes. To give a comparison, Dish Network sells its America's Top 200 package for $45.00 ($65.00 year year) and it's 6.0 mbps DSL at $34.95 ($48 the second). So when you calculate that and add HBO, the pricing is about even. The customer service department seems decent. I haven't had to wait long to pay my bill. I had one problem in which they had to send a signal to my box, another where it was my fault lol. I went to the office once to get a DVR receiver from them. The lady at the front was friendly, funny and pleasant to deal with and look at lol (no disrespect). My problem with them has been the limitation of certain channel. While they have 95% of channels that most carriers have and even some channels that others don't have, the do not have Fox Sports SW and the NFL network. Also, their technicians do not work on weekends.. So if you potentially have a problem where you need someone to come to your home, you're SOL. read more

I agree with Edgar, these people will make you pull your hair out. If you like to listen to a voice recording and waste valuable time, then please call there customer service line. I have called this number at least three times and on average you will be listening to a voice recording with some lovely elevator music in the background for at least 10 minutes. Ubber annoying! But once you reach a customer service representative, they are quite pleasant to talk to and rather helpful. The cable guys that come out to service my apartment are rather nice and friendly as well. The prices here are pretty steep for what you get and if you have no choice but TV MAX you are S.O.L. I think this gives them a reason to add a few dollars to the bill. The reception itself is less than average, and them changing to the fancy high tech "digital" cable (hello that was so 5 years ago TV MAX) it got even worse. If it wasn't for my slight laziness and the fact that my lease ends in a couple months I would have definitely switched to AT&T U-verse. read more

OMG, why can't I give negative stars? (What would those be? Super novas? Black holes?) This is the single worst cable service in the entire history of EVER. Seriously, $70 per month for two cable boxes without a DVR, but with sketchy reception, fading sound, sound bleeding in from other channels, more channels in Spanish than English (which would be fine if they played soccer games but they don't.), and that constantly "update" their lineup--though I saw no difference. Suffice it to say that even though my BF and I love Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, G4, and basically cable as whole, we chose to go without any TV reception whatsoever instead of continuing with these... Wave is the worst Internet company. I am so sick of having to deal with there bs it's unreal. Where do I start. The Internet is unstable. Most of the time u get 11-18 mb a sec when you pay for 25. They only answer the phone Monday - Friday 9 or maybe 10 if they feel like it to around 5-6pm again whenever they feel like it. The Internet goes out every month. It's just pathetic. If I could change Internet company's I would but my apartments have a contract with this mud bug company. Skipped town after taking $99 from me. I live in Riverstone, in Westchase, 77042. Xfinity is still not an option yet, after 18 months. AT&T had horrible customer service, kept deleting my orders, which I later discovered was because they don't serve this complex. I gave up and called Capital Comm. They were friendly, but the net went out several times in 3 weeks, and they expected me to sit at home 9-5 Monday through Friday. I'm at work on the other side of town, I could not keep missing work for this! Update: they left town 3 weeks after I gave them $99 to hook me up. Since this is an apartment/condo complex, we are under a monopoly. 8 months later (April 2017), X-finity wired the exterior. December 2017, still saying they will not hook up individual apartments to the cable that is 12 feet from my cable outlet. So frustrating! read more

Wavevision is unbelievably awful. I've been forced to use them for two years because my complex is in a contract with them and it's been so bad that this year I actually considered moving just so I could switch ISPs because I'm self employed and it effects my business. The service goes much slower than what I pay for IF I actually get service at all. Currently we've been without service for about a week. To make matters worse they never answer the phone and their office is always closed. There is a handwritten sign in their window saying that service down because they are moving locations but this is a blatant lie because they put up the exact same sign EVERY TIME the service goes out. I'm not sure if they are going out of business or being bought out but their website has been down for the past 2-3 days. I really hope to God they go out of business because I don't want my apartment complex to foolishly continue to do business with such a terrible company. I know if I were them I wouldn't want to be associated with a company with such an awful reputation. Wow I dont even know where to start in telling you how HORRIBLE this cable company is. I could start with its remote functioning that was stolen from the first TV remote ever made. Or its guide that is never correct. Or it crappy list of like 30 HD channels. Or how its DVR works maybe half of the time. And how half the time it works the recordings have no audio or are cut off. Or how it just freezes and you have to reset it at least once a day. Or how the internet service goes out every 30 minutes. Or how incredibly expensive this crappy excuse for a company is. After being on auto-pay for some time, (3+ years), I recently discovered my bill had risen to $237 per month!!! I went to the office on Briarpark today to complain and ask for a reduction in the bill. Nada! Nothing! I was told this was the correct amount and there was no way to reduce my bill. I informed the sales person of ATT's Universe package of internet + TV (430+ channels, including ALL movie channels), for a mere $130.00. That's $1,200 dollars a year savings!!! Told them to cancel effective immediately. Signed up for ATT Uverse. It will be installed, FREE, on Thursday. Oh yea--PLUS a $100 gift card as a bonus. That makes it $1300 savings. -10/10 This company offers horrable service and pathetic customer care. Through my experiance they never once sent me a bill via mail box or email thus causing me to get cut off service frequently. Furthermore, customer care and maintenence are never there to help when service issues occure. They say their hours of operation is from 9am to 6pm (Monday-Saturday) but you cant even catch them on the phone. I've found myself going to their location just to get something done. They also dont mention that they charge you an extra $5 a month fir their cheap $10 cable modem. I'm frustrated with them and want to just shut the whole company down. Worst service ever!! I have lived in 8 different states in the US and have never had a worst cable company! I live in an apartment complex that has a contract for Wavevision within the rent. I could go to a satellite company, but still get charged $45 a month. I am suppose to get free HBO with that, but HBO hasn't worked for 6 out of the 10 months I've lived here, and now it is down again! Customer service is awful and doesn't give us any answers. Since it isn't a real contract, our prices go up with no notice too! AND, last month, they decided to change the bill date to the 1st of the month. I live in a condo with two unfortunate years left of a five year contract with Wavevision (aka TV Max). Had I realized how utterly horrid this cable company was, I would have ran screaming from this place. I love my apartment, but Wavevision is so terrible, I'm actually considering breaking my lease just to get away from them. We are forced to deal with shoddy customer service, fading signals, and the slow loss of channels. Yes. Channels are disappearing. I'm supposed to have their so-called Gold Package or whatever but it must be electroplated gold because there is nothing valuable about this package. I'm being subjected to channel loss due to the deteriorating relationship between TV Max and cable networks. All Lifetime Channels are gone. The WE Channel, Fuse, NatGeoWild and several more channels have severed ties with TV Max and those channels are completely off the air. Remember back in the game when television used to go off at midnight? Those colored bars would come across the screen until 6am? That's exactly what my husband and I are seeing when we turn to these channels! Let's see... I believe they are now up to 12 networks no longer associating with TV Max aka TV-Crap. Before you so-called Wavevision lovers start running your big ass mouth, you may want to go ahead and shut the "F" up because this information came directly from a Wavevision (TV Max) representative! Exactly!!! Go ahead and close your mouth. This company is a scam. forcing the hand of unsuspecting apartment complexes and tenants to endure some of the worst service I've seen in a very long time. This has to be illegal somehow. Has to be. My landlord has told me they despise this cable company and have been searching for ways to get out of the contract but to no avail. Together with the landlord's permission, we've decided to round up a petition and file a formal complaint against this company. No legitimate business should be running their company so ineptly. If there is some form of legal action that I can take against this company, I will indeed find and participate in it. This site should at least let you select NO stars if you don't have the option of negative ones. Believe me, if I wasn't more or less held hostage by this company, I would change my service in a heartbeat! I've been stuck with WaveVision (formerly TVMax) for almost 4 years and have never had the reception I should for the now $177 per month (it apparently just went up with no notice and almost $50 of that is fees and taxes). I am paying for the Gold package and supposed 20Mbps internet (I think I've managed 12 Mbps once...it's usually closer to 10). I've had to have them out here multiple times to attempt to fix a terrible pixellation and/or signal freezing or dropping problem and intermittent internet issues. Apparently their main equipment and cabling was installed sometime back in the late 70's or early 80's when this complex was built, and the best solution the tech could come up with was to run new wiring to my unit. But in order to do that, since the complex will not allow them to run cable along the outside of the building, they would need to run it underground and under a sidewalk to get it to my unit. Of course, they aren't about to try that because they are afraid of hitting other wires in doing so, so I basically have to "live" with crappy service while paying for premium. The actual people I have dealt with there have all been very pleasant, but their policy of "sometime between 9 and 5" is not only ridiculous, but on one service call I actually had them call me and tell me no one was home when they came and I would need to reschedule. I work from home, so I am home ALL day almost everyday, and was certainly here the day they supposedly came by. They also apparently have a policy against same-day response, even if you call first thing in the morning. Working from home, internet access is of the utmost importance, and waiting 24-48 hours or more to get service is incredibly disruptive. They should be able to adjust priorities for more urgent situations. The condo complex I live in has only Wavevision as the cable option...my only other options are Dish and DirecTV, but since my condo faces north and due to restrictions about not attaching anything physically to the building, the dish itself is supposed to be mounted on a 12-foot tripod that can "see" over the roof, which neither of them will do unless I pay full price for all the equipment up front...totaling roughly $700 for my unit with 3 TV's. So if you are in any situation where you have other viable options, RUN, don't walk or even consider this company. read more

Review is for internet only service... Pros: Cheap, No Contract, Speed as promised Cons: Frequent outages, High Latency Connection, Very Slow support. In Houston for only 3 months, non of the big providers would do month-to-month so Wavevision was the ONLY option (TimeWarner didn't service our address). Download speeds were fine right around 20mb/s, upload wasn't bad either 1.5mb/s. But the network itself was very unreliably, often couldn't connect half the sites I was trying to (but they'd work from my iphone) and streaming would constantly stall. Three times the internet went out completely for 1 day or longer. Calls to tech support are a waste of time if they even answer. Our connection went out yesterday (Tuesday) and the soonest they said they could fix it was Thursday, which is our disconnection date because we are moving. Also, their on-line payment system does not work. I called to ask when it would be available and the guys said "Uh, it's been a while" implying it's never worked and don't expect it to work ever. Sounds like a terribly mismanaged company struggling to survive. If you have access to another option that's only a few bucks more a month go for the better option. read more

Don't pick them just because they're the cheapest option; they are totally unreliable and provide truly horrendous customer service (if you can even call it that since more often than not you're sent to voicemail - that's right, voicemail). When you get someone, they do everything they can to blame your computer or other equipment. They also just decided to do maintenance on their equipment this month without alerting their customer, and the only thing they offer me after multiple days of being late to work and spending gas money I wouldn't have spent since I was supposed to work from home was a half a month's bill credit (this is after 5 days in one month). Wavevision always increases their rates for no apparent reason. Wavevision's Internet claims to be lightning fast, but it is slow and cuts out all the time. The channel lineups they offer are all terrible unless you pay over $200 a month. They offer DVR and HD at ridiculous high prices. Their sport channels don't even include NBAtv. The people that work in customer service have the intelligence of third graders. I am sadly in a building where they only offer this cable company. read more

This cable network provider sucks!!! They have been overcharging us, since we first moved in. We had semi-great channels last year around october, like showtime and HBO., because we thought we had the silver package 50 bucks a month, because they were charging us the silver package deal. But one day out of the blue they slowly started blocking channels, so we finally called, which we were hold for 20minutes before anyone would pick of the phone( mind you its 10am in the morning, but they still make you wait anything of the day, you cant call them after 4pm they close at that time). When we talk with a rep. she told us we never had the silver package, we had the bronze( which they had recently reconfigured without sending a letter or atleast a note on the billing statement, the bill always said silver when I was paying it) that they channel we were receiving were illegally getting due to fact someone spliced the cable so people in this complex could get more than what they were paying for(sounded like a inside job) and Wavevision were just now tackling the problem(2years of paying in full). So we stuck with the bronze package ( cause they told us they would sent us a list of channel in the mail for what channels we would recieve after the all the illegal dusty settle, we got the letter this past july) We only get two major cable channels, that BET and the Food network.... and thats it ...by the way august bill went up by 10bucks( just for fees I never even heard of). We kept it on until we could find out other alternatives our complex would let us have.(ATT, but they want you to bundle, cant afford or need all of that 125 plus a month after the 6months intro offer plus a 2year contract to boot). Then wavevision dropped another bomb on us( without a letter or notice on the actual bill) increased their prices by another 10 bucks, they wants us to start paying 70 bucks a month for 2 premium channel( BET n Food Network) and a boat load of weird local channels, and ABC family thats shows the same movies that been out over 20 years!!!!. When you call to ask to fix it they don't give you a time when the technician will be here; they just say between 9 and 7. I have endured TVMax because I had no choice. Due to local regulations, consumers have been robbed of local choices. No other company can service this area, which means that TVMax can provide me with poor service, and all I can do is either accept it, or give up on cable. A few minutes ago, I called them and canceled my service... effective IMMEDIATELY. The reaction that I received from the TVMax Customer Service Rep was another telltale sign of how bad things must be at that company. She was polite, but she did not try at all to change my mind or see if there was anything she could do to keep my business. I have had TVMax technicians out several times to fix the lost signal problems that I keep experiencing. They can never permanently solve the problem. The final straw for me happened yesterday, January 30th, 2011, when I missed large segments of the Pro Bowl due to the signal strength continuing to fade in and out. Now the signal is completely gone. I have already suffered the loss of several channels that should be part of my package, due to poor/no signal strength. But now I have lost Fox, and I can't watch the Super Bowl. To make matters worse, they tried to sneak in a rate increase without telling me. I discovered it when I logged into my on-line account. I tend to pay for several months at a time to avoid the hassle of bill-paying. Had I not gone on-line, I would never have known. TVMax is a fledgling operation. Its become evident that the only way they survive is by raising the rates on "those who stay," to make up for the revenue lost by the scores of people like me that are leaving. I am done with them. I am joining the on-line revolution, replacing TVMax with Hulu, Vudu, and Netflix. Hulu is free, Netflix is $7.99, and Vudu offers $2 movie rentals. Each streams directly to your TV or PC, and don't require HDTV's. Thanks to the Internet, we DO have a choice. Do yourself a favor, and RUN from TVMax. read more

This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The phones are not answered. After being on hold for fifteen minutes, I am transferred to a voice mail box that has a messsage stating it cannot accept messages. This has happened multiple times. Givent hat their online payment system has never worked, I have no choice but to call and pay my bill. Channels disappear, and my service is constantly changed to higher rates without my consent. Today I received a bill stating that this is my final month of service. What? I didn't cancel anything and neither did my apartment complex. The ONLY reason I deal with them is because basic cable (regular network channels) are provided for free and there are no other options permitted via a contract between Wavevision and my complex. Today is a good day. Today I finally get to cancel my Wave Vision service. But in true Wave Vision style, they're making this as difficult as possible. Even though their office is currently open, they have no one answering phones. Just an outgoing voice mail message. So I have to drive to their office. Bad product. No customer service at all. Worst ever in life. First they give me remote controls that are dirty...literally had dried food particles on them. That was my first introduction to this crappy company. The sound is awful. The picture goes off and on and freezes daily. You constantly have to reset it. You are constantly calling their technicians to fix it only to have them on speed dial to come out the next day. Their customer service sucks balls...they take away your channels without notifying you. They go up on their prices without notification. The info guide (not sure what it's called) is hardly working so you can't see the line up. When you call them they don't answer, you are led to an answering machine that is too full for you to leave anything on. If you are lucky and get someone on the line, they have no answers as to why they took your channels away or why did they raise your bill without letting you know, or what are these erroneous fees, etc. I have been without cable for 3 days and I can't get a hold of anyone. Ridiculous. Wave Vision is a SCAM, con artist of a company. I'm forced to give them at least 1 star otherwise I would give them the lowest rating possible...negative 1,0000 to the 10th power. The company has actually been great. After reading some of the previous reviews, I had reservations about signing up with them but I've only ever had one issue with them. The internet was out for some time so I called customer service many times but got no answer. I drove to their office with equipment in hand so I could cancel. It wasn't until l walked in there that I got to understand. The manager explained that the company had to move to a new office and (I'm guessing) they had to move equipment too. It's a very small company and even though it sucks that they're hard to reach on the phone, I can't really blame them for it. She assured me that there wouldn't be any more connection issues, and so far, she's kept her word. I'm not sure if she's new but I kinda got the sense that she's trying to turn things around. The rest of the staff has also been cool but in the end all I care about is that my internet is fast and affordable. read more

I'd give them a much lower score but there's nothing less than a star. Very poor customer service. My Internet went out at around 9 pm Thursday, but because they don't have after hours customer service line, I had to wait til 9 in the morning the next day, so all through the night I did not have service. So 9:00 AM came and I called. No one answers the call, waited and waited and could not get through...thank God another company will start their service here and I could not wait to move my services. I feel like I just found the digital version of group therapy. This happened yesterday: Out of the blue, I got a "No Access" error and my whole screen goes gray and blank. I quickly click through the channels, and it's the same on every screen. I called Wavevision for assistance. After 15 minutes on hold, a customer service agent informs me that I only subscribe to 200 of their offered 400 channels, and, starting today, if I scroll through the channels and land on one that I do not subscribe to it will knock out all of my channels again and can only be fixed if I completely remove and then re-insert my cable card. However! If I find this inconvenient he would be more than happy to upgrade me to have access to ALL channels, for a fee of course. Composing my second complaint to the Better Business Bureau now - how can this company still be in business?! read more

Funny how my broadband speed drops to a crawl in the evening and Wavevision says it's not a bandwidth issue on their end (while also telling me nothing is wrong with my system). This service sucks BIG TIME. To pay so much (well over $100.00) for Cable that works half the time. Fastest Internet in Houston....hahaha That was one of the reasons that I got NetFlix, boy I sure was fooled. I can't even get regular free channels with the line up that I pay for. no CNN, FOX, MSNBC, TWC, TBS the list goes on. You would think call customer service. That is a non existant service that they have. They say thay have spend millions no the cable lines and when you get your bill there are so manny misc charges and fees. Hell they charge us for providing bad service to us the customers. The new service where they can determine which household has cable and not paying for it needs to be changed. They need to be able to use that same service to determine who they are giving bad service to and who is paying for cable but not receiving all that they pay for. My internet charges have nearly doubled within a year - go figure. I started with $34 then $45 (within 3 months) and suddenly nearly $60. This is just for internet. I don't even want to talk about customer service. The voice recording says office is open until 7pm on Sundays. I call at 6:30pm and they are already closed! Everything about this company is deceptive. I decided not to go with their cable and went with Directv instead. Suffice to say I've had brilliant service from Directv so far. Wavevision has absolutely no reason existing as a company. They sign these heart wrenching contracts with equally unscrupulous apartment complexes and do nothing else but fleece you. Absolutely, positively, unequivocally, the most terrible customer service in the entire world. They are even worse most likely than Ted Bundy would be as a customer service rep. This last time I had to hook up their horrible internet service, because they have a little monopoly in our PRIVATELY owned condos. Well everything was hooked up precisely, and I've only been working with technology since half of my life ago, so i knew everything was hooked up correctly------1000% correct. It was on their end. So what does the completely rude, and dense idiot tell me the problem is? Internet Explorer!!! She told me I had to go to a friends house, and put MOZILLA ON A FREAKING FLASH DRIVE AND PUT IT IN MY USB PORT AND THAT WOULD FIX IT!!!! OMG IS IT 15 YEARS AGO?!?!?!?!? I was so mad I was laughing hysterically at this point, and to think all she had to do was just give me the number to the tech support line, to which she was obviously not tech support. I wonder if she even owns a computer of her own? Anyways when I finally got a hold of the actual tech support, and told the guy about what she told me, he laughed so hard he was sobbing lol.
