Ordered jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantain as pick-me-up during Coronavirus crisis. Awesome. Did the trick!

Located in byward market, the cafe itself isn't too large but enough seating available. Inside,…read moreit's nice, there is a small shop on one side featuring pieces from local vendors. There is a paid charging station inside as well. In terms of drinks, they have many flavours for you to choose from. Mango matcha is still my go to, however banana bread wasn't too bad either. The blue coconut was a little sweet but the flavour of coconut was very prominent. The price for medium matcha is roughly around $8-9.

After stopping to stare at it for a minute, I looked in and noticed a new coffee shop. I decided I'd head in on my way back. After my appointment, I dropped in to grab a coffee to go...but it wasn't just a counter serving coffee. They had a pretty nice space with a bunch of food options with a little shop. I walked up, placed an order for a coffee and a samosa. I went to check out the little things they had setup for sale and the barista mentioned that it was a market that was filled with local vendors and makers. There were a lot of very nice pieces. I took some snaps and sent it off to some friends. I went to the other side of the room that had some nice seating. A couple of minutes later my order arrived. I took a sip of my flat white and I really enjoyed that first sip. I'm unsure if it was because it was cold out and I got something warm in me or not but it definitely hit the spot. The samosa looked awesome. I took a bite out of the samosa and I really enjoyed the filling. I wish the skin was crispy vs a little soggy. I'm unsure if it was microwaved to be reheated or not but it'd go from OK to really good if it crispy. The space is really nice and relaxing. There wasn't a lot of people in here but I hope it builds a solid clientele as the staff are really friendly. I like the market with local makers. Food and drinks were nice. If you go, can you confirm if that door is a washroom or not? If not, then that's the only real downside of the cafe. Come swing by and support this spot! Oh, also I'm unsure if it's just The Hub, The Hub Market Cafe or The Hub Cafe
