I had no idea we had a Capital One Cafe in MOA until I walked past this recently! I had to stop in and see what it was like. I've been into one other Capital One Cafe before, so I knew that as a cardholder, I got 50% off any drinks. Not a bad deal, especially if you're looking for a bev or somewhere to hang for a bit in MOA. SERVICE The staff at the front are very cheery and welcoming and immediately begin asking if you've been before, if you have a card, etc. They directed me to the counter to order. During my visit, the staff member at the counter was quite the opposite of energy from the front staff. They were quite backed up with a few other people's orders in front of me, and it took ~10 minutes for me to get my drink. COST I was surprised that my small matcha with oat milk and a half pump of sweetener came up to $10, so I ended up still spending $5. DRINKS They have some nice drink options, but unfortunately were out of a few of their seasonal menu items, so I opted for a matcha latte. Note that they do not sweeten their matcha so you'll need to add a pump of sweetener if you prefer that. SPACE [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is the big win here! Lots of tables, and even a few nooks that can be booked by cardholders. It was very clean and comfortable, well designed, and a great place to work for a bit or hang out. Not too loud, and plenty of seating available on a Friday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is a good option to get a reduced-cost drink if you're a cardholder while you're MOA shopping!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute space![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I was on business staying at a hotel near here, this would be great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can reserve a private workspace for some uninterrupted quiet time or meeting time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are 4 rooms in total so look online ahead if you are hoping to get one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At the center of the space is a Cafe, with a variety of drinks and food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Looks like their drinks are very creative, yet simple. I had a turmeric ginger latte that was pretty tasty!! My kids had hot apples cider and cocoa which were also great! This isn't just a Cafe, its also a bank. Grab cash a the ATM, apply or upgrade your card, and more. So, if you're a Capitol One card holder you'll get extra discounts and perks here as well! Give this place a try!

Iced pumpkin latte and hot pumpkin lattes (seasonal)

I don't have a Capitol One card but I love stopping by this coffee shop whenever I'm at the mall because the coffee is so delicious! I've tried their seasonal pumpkin latte as well as their signature honey lavender latte - both iced, both so tasty! They are just the right amount of sweetness and I love the coffee beans used from Verve Coffee Roasters. The nice thing is that if you are a Capitol One or Discover card holder, you get a discount on their drinks. I'm sure it would be a huge perk if you had one because the prices are already pretty decent for coffee without the card. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is clean and modern looking throughout the whole cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wasn't pressured to get a card or anything like that and I'm always greeted warmly when I enter the store. Sometimes during the weekday, the service is slightly slower but it's not too bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are rooms that are available if you want to study or have a meeting or something. I'm not sure if they have to be booked in advance or are first come, first served. But I'm sure it would come in handy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Amazing drinks! I'm astonished that a credit card company offers such great beverages. I've grabbed a free drink with a friend, and came back the next time and paid for one. There's often freebies and fun promos to get a Capitol one card (they haven't worn me down yet). [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great pick me up in the mall, and excellent place to get work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great chill spot after a long day at the mall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've really come to appreciate this spot-it's a gem within the mall![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Travel aura signage

I normally don't do banks but they had an event to check my travel aura and get a passport cover with my initials so I couldn't pass it up. I stopped by, found out I'm violent so I'm off to Chile . Ty was very polite, not pushy and informative. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is open to everyone. They have tables, quiet spaces and a place to by a drink or a small bite to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I might just go back to banks.

Stopped here for coffee at MOA! It's an interesting concept and as a capital one card holder you get 50% off so a great deal! I was honestly astonished by the quality of coffee here, I got just a simple latte with oat milk and it was really good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cool space too with rooms you can rent and tons of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was great and the ordering process was smooth, quick and easy!

This is hot chocolate, it was fine

It's a cafe at the Mall of America, plus also there are people who want you to ask them about banking services. I just got a Capital One credit card and thought I would pop in to see if there were special privileges. Anyone can come in here; it's not like an airport lounge, but if you are a cardholder (Capital One or Discover), you get 50% off the cafe drinks. They have some options! I just got hot chocolate but they have some different spins on coffee and chai. There are also some savory solids on offer; no discount for cardholders. Friendly baristas of the sort you tend to expect at a cafe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's clean and spacious and quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's clear that there are people on staff that are there for banking services. No one hassled me or anything, but I think if I wanted to know about those kinds of offerings I would have been warmly invited into that side of their business.

Located at MoA, this Capital One Cafe is open to the public, and you don't need to be a Capital One card holder in order to have access. The menu provides craft coffee (Verve Coffee Roasters), breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and a space to get work done with their free wi-fi and receive banking services. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe itself is bright and clean, and the service was friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice spot to grab a drink and/or some snacks while you're shopping.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] +open to the public [[HIGHLIGHT]]+clean space[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] +friendly service

Strawberry cold foam matcha
Mia M.

Is this a safe space to say that the Capital One Café is one of my favorite coffee shops? All banking aside, the drinks are delish--genuinely one of my favorite matcha lattes I've ever had (and they even currently have a seasonal version with strawberry cold foam!), and the coffee/espresso is great too. There are plenty of great deals available, for both Capital One customers and not--their MLB Mondays promo offers a free drink on Mondays to all, and they also have a $3.60 drink deal on Fridays for Capital One customers! And, you can always get half off your drink when paying with a Capital One card, which rocks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Another cool customer perk is the nooks--I had no idea about this until I came in the other day and one of the Ambassadors told me about it and showed me how to reserve one--customers are able to book time in 30, 60, 90, or 120 minute increments through the Capital One app, so this is one of the best coffee spots in town if you want to get out of the house to work but still need a semi-private space to take a meeting, which is something I'm always looking for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You're also allowed to bring in outside food if you want something beyond their cafe food offerings, which rocks since the MOA has so many good food options! The staff here are all great, too--the Verve baristas make a mean drink, and the Capital One Ambassadors are SO helpful if you have any questions related to your account or need to do some actual banking. Every time I'm here, I'm always looking for Owen in particular, who is the absolute greatest and taught me more about the perks I get as a Capital One customer than I learned in the entire first year I've had my card.

Gingerbread latte
Amy W.

I visited the Capital One café to redeem a free drink coupon and was pleasantly surprised. The barista was friendly and gave me recommendations for a seasonal drink. I tried the gingerbread latte, which I enjoyed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself was comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Giving three stars instead of four because, personally, having to go in the Mall of America to get to the cafe is a drawback, but that's just me.

One of the Best Banking Experiences Ever! I had an amazing experience with Emo at the Capital One Café. Honestly, one of the best interactions I've ever had at a financial institution. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain so much about financial planning and credit management in a way that actually made sense. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people and enjoys what he does. We need more people like Emo in banking 10/10 experience

Gabriel S.

Super nice staff and very good coffee I had a macchiato with a little bit of honey and extra shot of espresso and it was amazing. Had a nice conversation with the lady that made my coffee and we talked about our favorite coffee drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of places to sit down and relax and also do some work if you want and you're in the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you have their credit card the coffee drinks are half price.

Aubrie H.

We always see commercials for this so we had to stop in. They person working the front helped us get the MLB code for a free drink on Mondays. We tried a tea and a chai, both were delicious and refreshing.

I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.

There is some street parking as well as some paid ramps. I came in on a Saturday morning around 10AM. By then, it was busy, but I was able to still find a seat. The staff were kind and I think as pleased with the number of drink options as well as pastries - gluten free, too! I enjoyed a seasonal lemon bar latte (yum!) and a gluten free banana chocolate chip muffin. I will likely be back. The coffee is great, the parking situation is just a bit weird.

First things first--the vibe is chef's kiss if you're into cozy, low-key, intentional spaces. It's quaint without trying too hard, and it doesn't have that loud, chaotic coffee shop energy. I was actually able to focus, which says a lot. Now what really sets this place apart? It's tucked inside Zawadi Center, and that matters. This isn't just a grab-your-drink-and-go type of café. You're surrounded by culture, community, and a space that feels like it means something. Between the event space, the restaurant, and the overall energy, it feels layered... like you accidentally found a hidden gem that locals want to keep to themselves. The refresher? Solid. Did what it needed to do. No complaints there. If I had to give a little Yelp Elite honesty: seating can be a bit limited depending on timing, and if you're someone who needs complete silence, this might not be your spot when it gets busier. It's more "focused but alive" than "library quiet." Overall, this is the kind of place you come to reset, get a little inspired, and maybe romanticize your life for a couple hours. Will I be back? Absolutely.

Being at Mall of America, you are never terribly far from a Caribou Coffee. There are six of them. The problem? Trying to figure out which one to check in to on the Yelp app is super confusing. My second check-in attempt was correct. Yay! This cafe is steps away from Radisson Blu Hotel, which is connected to the mall. I would find it both cool and deadly to roll out of bed in the morning and head over to this Caribou Coffee. It's also next to J. Jill, by Nickelodeon Universe. If you spot any one of these three places, you're near this cafe. The downside of this cafe is that it closes at 3 pm on weekdays and 4 pm on weekends. Considering that the stores at this mall tend to stay open between 7 and 9 pm, cutting it short so early is a concern. There was a lineup when I got to this cafe. I stood in line. It did move relatively quickly. I got a friendly woman at the counter. She took down my phone number associated with my perks points. I then ordered a large sparkling peach black tea. I paid with a credit card. I also tipped. Done! As I waited for my drink, I browsed around. I liked the drinkware and mugs at this store. There were plenty of snacks that looked yummy and intriguing. My drink didn't take long to be prepared. I thanked the woman when I got my drink in a Christmas-themed cup and looked for a place to sit. I oddly didn't feel cozy sitting on padded stools without any back support. Instead, there were comfy couch chairs in front of this store, so I sat there and enjoyed my drink. I loved my drink. It was perfect and fizzy. I actually sat in this cozy chair for an hour, casually sipping on my drink and figuring out which stores to shop at next. My experience was positive at this cafe. I'd return whenever I'm on the second floor and in this part of the mall. (469)
