Located in a strip mall, this location has plenty of parking available. Service is friendly and drinks come out pretty quickly. The inside is super cute and has seating available in a narrow hallway leading to the restrooms, and a separate room with comfortable seating in between the ordering counter and Burgers and Bottles. There's a small bar connected to the ordering counter, and they serve cocktails and food as well. The Hatter Brained latte was SO good and not too sweet. The Absolutely Alice is very sweet. They use beans from Edina Coffee Roasters and the espresso is absolutely delicious.

What better place to go on a dreary day than to a coffee shop inspired by Alice in Wonderland! This is located in a strip mall, so lots of parking and easy to find! You will enter in through the business next door "Burgers and Bottles" (If you get a chance this business has the BEST cheese curds! There are plenty of signs directing you! You will walk through a seating area towards the back and order. Staff here were friendly and there are dairy free options (yay!!) I got the "Absolutely Alice" and "Hatter Brained" Both were iced. The Absolutely Alice was bitter to me and had no butterscotch flavor... didn't end up finishing it. It was also grainy in texture. The Hatter Brained was DELICIOUS!! The perfect amount of sweetness and tasted great! I would be back for that one! The ambiance is great! Lots of plants, dark vibes and feels like you've been transported somewhere else! There is a fair amount of seating and you can certainly bring your laptop to study or work! They do also serve some food items and alcoholic beverages! I would recommend this place and will hopefully be back soon!!

We were here on a Sunday morning during peak brunch hours and this was a popular place, for good reason! The coffee selection was very wide, with the standard coffee, latte, espresso as well as their own custom menu. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito which was HUGE and enough for me to take home half and eat for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed a table cleaned off for us. This was exactly the laid-back and unique coffee shop atmosphere we were lookin for. This is a great spot south of the cities, we will be back!

Great spot off the highway just south of the cities. They have a alcohol and coffee bar along with several plates. Prices felt high for the location being outside the city yet the taste was so fulfilling, I didn't care. Will be back!

Curioser Coffee has a fun concept and a very distinct vibe. This Eagan location is one of two (the other is in Apple Valley) and is much smaller, tucked into a strip mall. That said, the Alice in Wonderland theme is playful and well done, with lots of plants, fun chairs, and a creative atmosphere that makes it a nice place to sit and relax for a bit. Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. It was extremely slow and not very warm or welcoming. It felt very basic and transactional, which didn't quite match the whimsical vibe of the space. The drinks and food were good but nothing standout, and they felt expensive for what you get. Many of the syrups were very sweet, and a lot of the drinks leaned heavily toward sugary rather than balanced. Overall, the vibe is the highlight here and makes it a decent place to hang out, but between the slow service and the pricing, it's not somewhere I'd likely go out of my way to return to.

Nice spot for a caffeinated pick-me-up when you need one! The entire space is filled with beautiful, lush greenery and lavish decor that instantly lifted my mood. My butterscotch espresso drink was WAY too sweet (even for me!), but it was comforting and helped me in my moment of need. I would order something else next time. I'll definitely be back next time I need another mood boost.

Met up some friends here before heading to Volstead for dinner. It had gotten quite the hype, so we were excites to give it a try. Unfortunately, they were out of a couple of items to make the drinks we wanted, but ended up with the sangria and old fashioned, which were good. The sangria was strong! We also couldn't say no to the cacio e pepe fries, which were excellent. Want to come back at breakfast and give the coffee a try.

Breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, specialty lattes

The decor and ambiance of the space is worth the visit alone. Aside from that, there are a few things that hopefully will be improved on the longer this location is open. Stopped in for coffee and breakfast on a Saturday around 11a and my husband and I both ordered signature lattes and a breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. My latte came out very lukewarm so I had to ask the to reheat it - if it wasn't $8+ I would've dealt with it. Not that is a huge deal but there was no presentation of the signature latte, which I have seen at their other location. They then brought out the wrong breakfast sandwich and it took quite some time to get the correct order. That being said the food was very good! The breakfast burrito is unique and one of the best in the area! Seating on the coffee shop side is a little clunky and crammed, so if it's busy it's not ideal. Hopefully as time goes kinks will be worked out and this will be a great, fun little spot for locals in the area!

Curiouser appears to be one of the latest spots for the team behind Bottles and brews and Volstead. Though a different vibe than those two, it is definitely worth a stop on its own, but even more fun to combine with a visit to one of the other two adjacent spots. When you walk in, it feels positively enchanting. Alice in Wonderland is the decor theme and it is carried out well. There are gorgeous plants on the wall, decor that has you looking more closely, and a very interesting selection of coffee and cocktails. Because we were there in the evening, we decided to order the cocktails. I ordered the terra, not quite sure what to expect because it included Mezcaland a series of vegetables. The best way to describe it is an earthy take on a Mezcal margarita. It was so very, very good. Based on other recommendations, we started with the cacia de Pepa (slaughtering the spelling here) fries. I thought the fries themselves were excellent, I really think it needed more pepper though. Or at least they should've brought pepper on the side to add. Other than that, I thought it was excellent. My companion ordered a burger and she thought it was tasty although she thought it was a bit pricey. I don't eat meat, so I have nothing to compare with. I did order the sourdough bread with smoked salmon. That was ginormous, and I could only eat half. THe bread was just well made and toasted to the right amount, but I could've used a little less of the cream cheese. I brought the other half home and ate it for breakfast the next day- the bread held up well but I scraped more than half the cheese off.. The staff was friendly and helpful. Service was super quick. I do wish they had more chairs with back on the backside (the long corridor away from the other businesses) They have a very cool room that opens up to the next-door restaurant, but we didn't want to sit there because there was a loudly shrieking child in the burger joint. Families have a right to bring their kids to burger joints but we also did not want to listen to that throughout our meal. So I ended up sitting on a rotating stool on the far side of the restaurant so that my friend could sit in the long banquet seating. I think they need a few chairs with backs along their backside for people who want to dine with friends, but avoid the noise from next door. Overall, it is a delightful experience and made me willing to venture outside to the suburbs again.

Went in the afternoon to work remotely and try the coffee. The place is beautifully decorated and feels like being transported into an Edgar Allen Poe scene. I love the plants and the juxtaposition of the dark paint and sunlight beaming thru the window during the day. It's a comfortable place to work. I prefer the adjacent room with more table space and lighting. If you don't care too much about coffee, you'll enjoy this spot. Wouldn't recommend if you're a serious coffee lover. I tried the Sage Advice. Went back to try cocktails. It was very quiet on a Saturday evening 2 hours before closing. Very intimate. There was one other group at a table who left before us. A couple on a date straggled in as my friend and I headed out. The drink presentation was lovely as is the decor. The drink itself, Fee Verte, was good but didn't quite make me feel I needed to try another. My friend enjoyed her chicken sandwich and it did look good. Prices are reasonable. This spot is lacking the element of fun and a welcoming vibe despite the well done design and aesthetic. Hopefully there's time to improve with some good music and a few table games or tarot cards, books of poetry, a juke box, trivia, open mic night, or something to set it apart and lively up the vibe!

My party had high hopes for this place and unfortunately were let down. + The ambiance and decor of this place is outstanding! The owner definitely had a vision and NAILED it. - The service was slow and we stood by the register for 10 minutes before being greeted - we actually felt invisible. - The matcha and "Hatter Brained" were not all that tasty. The espresso was bitter and the almond milk lukewarm by the time my beverage was topped off with froth * shopping mall parking lot * crowded seating on the bar side of the cafè

The long fall seasonal drink iced

Visited 10/18/25. First off, this place is adorable. Decor is perfection and I actually like the layout better than the apple valley food hall location. Definitely gives more coffee shop vibes. Fun and whimsical decor is everywhere and the staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. Appreciated all of their patience and willingness to explain things. Definitely prepare for a steeper price tag in general with the different signature drinks. They were beautiful in general but a bit on the sweeter side and I like my drinks a bit stronger so I would probably get a straight up cold brew in the future if they have it. The main food that spoke to me was the breakfast burrito option but price felt a bit steep at $14 (plus the $8 drink), so I ate beforehand at home. Overall, would be a really fun place to catch up with a friend over cute seasonal drinks. I used it to do some remote work and it was definitely doable for this too, but the general vibe was more people meeting up. Would be really interested in trying out the cocktail side of things in the future.

Charming coffee shop by day and cocktail bar by night, Curiouser's charming ambience is only matched by its excellent coffee and drinks. Not a lot of seating, so it's a bit cramped but it only adds to the cozy vibe.

Enter through the Burger spot and look for the Coca Cola machine! Once you enter Volstead House, you can't help but be transported into what feels like a Spirit Library. Perfect for a date night, friend catch-up, or solo Whiskey adventure, Volstead House is a vibe! Pair the atmosphere with top notch, educated bartenders and mixologists...you know you'll be taken care of! We started with the A La Louisiane, a spirit-forward, whiskey cocktail with some funk from Peychauds and Absinthe. It was delicious and well balanced. We also shared the Glazed Carrots and the Parm Fries. The carrots didn't hit for me, as the glaze and sauce lacked a punch of flavor but the fries were crispy and delicious. If you have a spirit enthusiast or someone that likes to explore the world of cocktails, I think this is the perfect vibe!

First off, going through the hidden Coke machine entrance is actually really fun and makes the whole place feel like a little adventure. The decor and speakeasy atmosphere are definitely the standout. Very cool space. VERY loud though. Like "lean across the table and say WHAT?" loud at times. The waitress was super nice and recommended a mocktail for me that called Ass in the Sand. It ended up being really good. It tasted like an elevated lemonade and was probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. Started with the rolls and whipped honey butter which were delicious. Very soft, warm, and honestly dangerous because I could've just kept eating bread all night. For the main meal, I did the Wagyu Burger with Parmesan fries. The burger itself was okay but surprisingly didn't have a ton of flavor outside of the grilled/charred taste. The Parmesan fries were actually the standout for me -- hand cut fries and parmesan fries are just hard to mess up. My partner tried the Mushroom Soup en Croute and wasn't a fan because the mushrooms were blended and he said it lacked flavor. He also had a Steak Taco special using their medallion steak and said even with lime it still needed more flavor. Finished with Crème Brûlée which is always a classic favorite for me and this one was good. Overall: fun experience, cool hidden entrance, great decor, good mocktail and bread, but the actual food menu is pretty limited and the flavors didn't totally wow me for the price. Glad I went and finally crossed it off my list, but probably a one-and-done visit for me.

The interior is modern and inviting, with some fun wallpaper making a statement. We cozied up to the bar during this visit. I will say that bar was a bit sloppy during our visit...bartenders' water bottles cluttering the visible space, bartenders spilling our drinks a bit during delivery, and weird transitions of staff that were a bit distracting. The Espresso Martini was the best item I ordered! Well balanced and the addition of the cold foam really made for an enjoyable sip. Would absolutely return for that one! The bites we ordered had great flavor, but some fell a bit flat when trying to live up to their creative ideas. The Fried Pickles were the best food item: perfectly crispy medallions with two delicious dipping sauces. The "burnt ends" cauliflower are really just roasted cauliflower with BBQ sauce on top, missing out on the umami juiciness of their namesake. The Chips that came with the Dip were just ruffled potato chips, not housemade or interesting. Solid spot for happy hour if you're looking in the area!

Very reasonable for the quality and vibe. We ordered the cauliflower burnt ends, fried pickles, and chips & dip. Everything came out flavorful and fresh. The atmosphere gives after-work energy -- a place where you can unwind with coworkers or commune with family and friends. And the background tunes were on point. Named for the state's status as the 32nd to join the Union, the establishment is built around a "Beer Wall"--a self-pour monument to local brewing that promises the drinker ultimate autonomy. It is a large, inviting space, designed for the expansive social ritual of a modern taproom.  The culinary offerings here are a pleasant surprise, rising significantly above the standard "hole-in-the-wall" bar fare. The menu feels intentional rather than an afterthought, providing a solid foundation for the liquid education happening at the taps. One cannot fault the quality of the sustenance or the hospitality of the staff, who remain remarkably friendly despite a recurring operational shadow: the house always seems to be exactly one person short. Each shift carries the palpable energy of a team perpetually running a man down, a testament to their grit but a strain on the overall rhythm of the room. However, the centerpiece of the experience--the self-serve technology--is where the friction lies. While the concept of filling one's own glass is liberating, the digital interface lacks a certain clairvoyance. There is nothing quite so deflating as committing to a pour only to have the keg go "bust" mid-stream, or finding that the tap you've selected is already dry. The system requires a more robust marriage of software and cellar management; the guest should not have to be the one to discover a vacancy in the line. "A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure." -- Czech Proverb Union 32 is a noble experiment in craft beer culture, providing a vast playground for the adventurous palate. But until the technology catches up with the inventory, and the roster is filled by that one missing player, it remains a work in progress--even if the beer itself is already a finished masterpiece.
