Nice boba shop located inside Mall of America that I randomly saw when walking by. I love that you can order on their tablets so that you can view the menu and customize your drink however you'd like. For me I usually go with a milk tea with boba, 0% sweetness, and less ice. The boba here was surprisingly good. It was nice and chewy and tasted fresh, unlike a lot of tea shops nowadays. I felt like the drinks were a little pricey at nearly $8 for a large, however, it's located inside a mall so that's probably why. Overall I enjoyed my drink and would recommend!

Tiger Latte with brown sugar boba

I have had Niko Niko pretty regularly and I always get the Tiger Latte, which is just milk with brown sugar syrup. I really wish there was an option for brown sugar milk tea as you can't add the syrup to the regular milk tea or add tea to the Tiger Latte. This makes the price pretty steep for the Tiger Latte at $5.75 for a regular with just the milk and syrup, if you add boba its an extra $0.85 ($6.60) Most of the time I get a good ratio of syrup to milk, but there has been a time or two where my drink ended up tasting like slightly sweet milk due to there being too little of the brown sugar syrup. I do appreciate the kiosk system which makes it very easy to place your order. Overall, despite these small grievances it can be pretty good!

Taro milk tea with coconut jelly

Walking around the mall and wanted a boba fix. Niko Niko is always a good standby. Got a taro tea with coconut jelly. Yummy as always. Only thing I think could help here is putting a name with the order. Mine got put out and a kid took it thinking it was his, until the worker had to say it was mine.

    Strawberry Milk Tea, Medium

I tried boba one time over 10 years ago and was never into it, but Niko Niko CHANGED ME. My fiancé and I ordered the strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping add-ins the last time we were at the mall on a whim and I have been dreaming of it ever since. There are plenty of tea shops near me but this menu is the best. There are three locations in the mall, but I went to the location on the third floor on the south side. This spot isn't a sit down place, but a counter to pick up your drink and get your steps in throughout the mall. The staff was friendly and quick. I will for SURE be back, I can't resist another Strawberry Milk Tea!!

A local bubble tea shop that used to be owned by a national corporation, but decided to strike out on their own and rename themselves Niko Niko!

Vietnamese Coffee with Creme Brûlée topping (yummy)

The Vietnamese Coffee w Creme Brûlée topping plus boba was delicious! It's pretty sweet, so I'd probably get it a little less sweet next time. But everything tasted great. I wish I ordered a large. The boba texture was nice and chewy. Their straws are cute too. Love the light pink. Service - our drinks came out quick.

Don't forget to ask for boba if you want it! I made that mistake but the staff was nice enough to add it in and charge the boba separately. Got the Tiger something or other with boba - very delicious! Cute little tables and seated area.

Yes! Delicious Vietnamese Coffee drink and Thai Tea with boba! Customer service was kind and helpful. Adds to the overall vibe of the food hall!! Definitely recommend.

A few locations scattered around MOA I enjoyed my boba drink the mango dream sweet cream Maybe a little too sweet and pricey for the size though The store in L3 MOA has a small counter that you order from, but fast and efficient service

The location in Mall of America is very small. Mostly just the ordering counter with a small standing table along the wall if you want to stand and chat. But they right off the food court so there is plenty of seating just outside. Tons of flavor and customization options for you Boba allow you to create your perfect drink.

Oolong MT, 50% sweet, brown sugar boba
    Paul B.

Level 1 of MoA. I ordered Oolong MT w/brown sugar boba, 50% sweet. I did not see an option for less ice. The drink and boba were good, but I could not taste the tea. The non-dairy creamer taste was too strong.

Niko Niko has 3 locations in the Mall of America. This review is for the one located on the first floor. I feel like during prime times they are all equally busy (weekends). They have kiosks you can use to order as well as one cashier. The drinks come out pretty fast. I only wish they would speak a bit louder when calling out names to avoid people walking us touching all over the cups to see the names. I like the Tiger Sugar Creme Brulee specialty drink here. I like that the drinks are overly sweet (although for many drinks you can adjust the sweetness/sugar levels). The prices are very fair for the quality and amount of drink you get. Love that the drinks aren't over filled with ice. This is for sure my go to boba place whenever I'm at MOA.

Niko Niko? More like nono nono. Walking the Mall of America is a daunting and thirsty task. After a certain point, I wasn't hungry but definitely needed something to drink and I really wanted boba at some point on my vacation. We kept passing Niko Niko and I figured if there was ever a sign, this is it. I believe we stopped at the one on the second floor by the food courts. It was fairly busy so Tim and I got in line to order on a self-help kiosk. Matt wasn't wanting boba so he patiently stood by while we ordered. I don't remember what Tim got but it came in a very sturdy plastic cup that he plans to keep and use at home. I discussed with Tim about their options since he's a lot more familiar with these kinds of menu and he said the Tiger Latte is always a solid choice. That's what I got and despite how busy it was, the workers were quick on getting the boba out. We took our drinks and headed out since the place didn't seem like it was going to stop being busy. My first few sips were all the brown sugar drizzle at first and wasn't all that good by itself. I tried using the straw to stir and mix it up but it didn't do all too well. That's when I noticed it didn't have any boba balls in it. Those are half the reason I get boba. They are fun to eat. As I kept trying to mix my drink to something halfway decent, I just ended up resigning to the fact that my drink wasn't anything I cared for at all. I did swap the milk out for oakmilk so maybe that had something to do with it... but being lactose intolerant, I didn't feel like dealing with a stomachache for the rest of the day. Having looked over the menu at a leisurely pace, I do see a few different things that I wouldn't mind trying if I get to go back some day. They have a few locations in Minnesota and Colorado and with how much I've been traveling, I am sure to encounter another one before too long. With that said, I am not assigning a rating to this place until I can try them again and get something that is more in-tune with what I like.

We got the 6 for $18 variety box: fruity pebbles, churro, taro, circus cookie, strawberry, matcha. My favorite was the fruity pebbles and matcha. Fruity pebble had the perfect light crunch as a topping and the vanilla glaze wasn't overly sweet. With the matcha it wasn't too strong of a flavor which I like and prefer. It had the right amount of matcha flavor. Taro was good but the flavor was quite mild. Wish it was more taro forward. You can never go wrong with churro flavor as it's just sugar and cinnamon. It is a safe pick. Circus cookie did not remind me of the glazed circus cookies at all. Not bad and not overly sweet but definitely not reminiscent of glazed circus cookies. The strawberry was something. There is this top layer of strawberry dust which was overly sweet but it did taste like strawberry. If you're looking for something sweet and tart then this is for you. As for the texture, I love that the mochi donut was very light, airy but still had that chewy mochi texture you're looking for, but not overly chewy. I also love how they're ball shaped donuts so it's very easy to share and try all of them without having to take bites from it. You do have to order from the kiosk so it may take a minute to order especially on a busy day. Though when I went it was quite busy, the workers did a great job getting the drinks and orders out in a timely manner.

My partner and friend and I were insane enough to head to the mall the Saturday before Christmas for some Pokemon Go. They chose a bench not far from this Macy's to rest and I wandered away to find the Macy's restroom and was happy to realize Tii Cup was in this location. The line was longish and inconvenient because it impeded some entry into Macy's itself but they were staffed up and the wait wasn't long. The lady taking my order was very kind and patient while I figured out what was dairy free and what I wanted to try. Since the icii flavor of honeydew was made with milk I went for the matcha instead with tapioca pearls. My drink was great but not my favorite as last time, I'll stick with the regular milk tea and not their blends next time due to their lack of flavor options for me. Thank you Tii Cup!

It ended up tasting extremely bitter--more like strong black tea than anything strawberry. Paying $7 for a drink my kids wouldn't even touch felt like a waste. They added sweetener but it still tasted very bitter and said their policy doesn't allow to change drinks.
