Gorgeous views of Spa Creek & very nice staff! We really enjoyed the sit on top kayaks for a laid-back 2 hour paddle around some swanky Annapolis homes & boats, plus seeing ducks, herons, etc. in a more quiet area (on a weekday) than I expected. Check-in was a breeze & we were able to switch from SUPs to kayaks at the last minute without any issues. I did my first training session with Kevin on Sunday and had the best work out. I'm currently training to compete in paddle board racing and I'll be there in no time with his help. The workout entailed high interval training - exercise strategies alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods - cardio, and weight lifting. Despite the windy day, it was a very enjoyable two hours on the water. We arrived a little late, but the people at C-SUP were very laid back and accommodating. Check-in was easy, they have cubbies in which to leave shoes, keys, extra clothing. I would advise paddling upstream at the beginning so that you can let the current do most of the work on the way back and simply relax and enjoy nature. It's also less busy further upstream. My only "complaint" would be that they provide a more thorough tutorial before sending you out on the water - tips on how to turn, best paddling technique, how to handle the choppy water on windy days. I've been to the Ladies Night Paddle twice and both times have been wonderful. Check in was a breeze, the staff was nice and answered any questions we had. The boards and paddles were in great condition, and the scenic views of Annapolis and its surrounding areas are not ones you can get from land. Love that you can book and sign the waiver online. It's set back a bit and in a residential neighborhood so if you're looking for it go slow and look for a white building with yacht sales written in it - Capital SUP is behind that. I went paddle boarding for the first time today at Capital SUP. Kevin took my friends and I out and was a great instructor. He was very thorough in his instruction and demonstrations, and the info about Annapolis was a nice bonus. I learned the skills I needed to be able to maneuver and feel safe, as well as have fun. After we all got the hang of it, Kevin had music to enhance our on the water experience and even took pics of us. I will definitely return to Capital SUP! read more

I went online looking to rent a kayak for the first time, put in for 2 at Capital SUP and when we arrived I told them I would have tried the SUP today but was nervous about doing either for the first time and thought the kayak would be easier to start. This place is awesome and I have recommended them to pretty much everyone! Making your reservation online is so easy, which is helpful when trying to plan stuff, especially with a group. I love their variety of activities, from beginner to advanced. Their staff is so knowledgable and passionate about what they do, which makes for the whole experience to be more interactive and fun. I went on their night LED tour and had a BLAST! Definitely worth the cost. It's so different from anything else, even from their regular daytime rentals. The instructor from the course helped our whole group, asked questions to get to know us, answered any questions we had, and made sure we had an awesome time the duration of the tour. I used this as a creative date night idea and it went over so well! I love that it's different from anything else you can do in the area, plus it's a workout (you can make it as easy or as challenging as you want, really). Can't wait to go back!! read more

Love this place!!! I have an amazing time every visit. Wasn't crazy about the idea of paddling around for an hour the first time I went out, but the second time I took a FLOYO class and was immediately hooked! The balance required takes work outs to a whole new level and I can't get enough now. The instructors are all super helpful too and my paddling technique has seen some major improvements since I first started last year! They have me as a customer for life! read more
