This is my second time going to see Lauren for upper lid eyeliner. The first time was about 4…read moreyears ago. 1st session went okay, just did a minor lash enhancement- no biggie, but it faded about a year after. Returned to her again 3 years later. I decided to go thicker this time. My next three sessions were more painful than expected and the healing was 10x worse than I remembered. The scabbing and inflammation lasted about 7 days. When talking to her about it, she didn't seem too concerned. I had the same reaction each session. I wasn't sure if I was having a reaction with the pigment or if her technique was way to harsh. She is very hot/cold. She seems to get very irritated easily and has an eerie energy about her. I would not recommend her for eyelids/eyeliner. She may have been doing permanent makeup for a long time but her technique was traumatizing and she is not very knowledgeable about medication. I am a Registered Nurse with ER/TELE/PACU and surgical post-op experience, therefore I have extensive knowledge on wound care. I'm also heavily tattooed and all my tattoos have healed well. This has been a learning experience for me. I highly recommend looking for photos of HEALED tattoos. Most of her portfolio contains fresh tattoos which look great. My eyeliner looked awesome when she was done but final results were terrible. If Yelp allows me to post photos later, I will try to update my results.

If you've ever considered having your eyebrows done don't hesitate seeing Marisol. ***********************Marisol has a beautiful, clean little shop where she does permanent makeup, eyes, brows and lips. She also does small tattoos. My experience with Marisol's expertise was a Brow-Lite procedure. I'm a senior, never had any tattoos, so this was a big deal for me. Marisol explained everything to me prior to the procedure and was very comforting with my concerns. I have eyebrows, but hair so fair they weren't visible. Wearing corrective lenses didn't help much with "drawing" them on my self and then always having the concern I'd rub them off. Well, no more! She did a great job and made me feel comfortable. Numbing the area with a topical Lidocaine cream made the process painless! Had a couple issues with dry patches where the ink didn't want to take, but she explained this to me and made suggestions to try to resolve these areas for the future. She provided detailed instructions for aftercare and welcomed all questions. She listened to my concerns regarding color and shape. Healing was exactly as she described and her color choice was spot on for my complexion. I will see her again and have already recommended her to a couple people. I highly recommend her! Support small business up here in the Canyon Lake area. She is no longer at the address posted on Yelp, but you can find her on other social media platforms. Even though it's next to a busy CBD store Marisol has her business set up so it was quiet in her studio. I went to this location for microblading and microshading. They look AMAZING now. Marisol is very knowledgeable and professional and meticulous. She explained every step to me and double checked her measurements before beginning the microblading process. Even though she put topical lidocaine on top of my eyebrows for 20 minutes, the procedure did hurt a little. It felt like someone plucking one of my long eyebrows so my eyes did water throughout. Marisol did her best to make me comfortable. Right before I left she gave me a little kit with cotton swabs, a cream to help my eyebrows heal, and a little pamphlet explaining what I could expect during the 4 week healing process. She charged a reasonable price for both the initial and follow up. In fact she was cheaper than what I was quoted by some of the other makeup artists in the New Braunfels area. I also liked her way online system for booking my appointments. Overall I feel so fortunate to have found this business on Yelp! Marisol made this a smooth and pleasant experience with amazing results.
