I just got eyelash extensions for the very first time! Naturally, I have very long lashes and I love the dramatic look with my mascara. Lately I've been wanting to just have no make up on but I wanted my eyelashes to still be dramatic. I reached out to Mandi and asked her for her opinion. She was so great in explaining to me the process, how they work and how to care for them. After our conversation, I decided to come in and have Mandi put a full set of lashes on me. I am so happy with her work! I love the fact that I can get up in the morning and head to the gym and not have to worry about putting on any mascara or try to make my eyes look awake. I have a natural cat eye shape, but my eyelashes are so blonde you cannot see them. The style of lashes Mandi put on for me look exactly like my lashes with mascara on! Okay...so. This review will be all over the place I stopped at Mazama for coffee and saw the Blushing Belle Beauty Bar was having a sip and shop. I have been looking for some place to go for a haircut and thought I would check this place out. I made a hair appointment for 4:30. I work in Austin so I took off work at 3:15 to make sure I would get there in time. I receive a call saying the stylist is running behind so they ask if they can move my appointment to 5:00. This was okay because if you know Austin traffic, it is unpredictable. I get there at 4:40 so I am honestly relieved at that moment sincE I would have been late. The owner comes out to greet people that are new and gives a history of her business. Love to see how proud she is and how well they are doing. I wait. And wait. And wait. 5:15 and the stylist is still working on the client before me. (Side note - this is just a haircut and style. No color involved). She finishes and when I think she is going to come get me. No. Someone goes in and sits down and they are talking. The girl upfront can see I am frustrated so she goes in and politely mentions that I am waIting. The stylist gets me and it is now about 5:30. We go over how I want it cut and she starts with a shampoo. Fantastic scalp massage. We get to the chair and as far as I can tell, she did a great job cutting my hair. She blow dries my hair in little sections. By now it is 6:45 and she is just getting to flat ironing my hair. I tell her I have to leave. She apologizes. Will I go back? No. I don't like being kept waiting. I get that they were having a special that day. I can understand if it was because there a lot of clients. But I have never sat for more than an hour for a simple trim. I didn't even get to the point where she was able to finish straightening my hair to check the cut. If you have 2 hours to sit for a trim and style, then I would say give her a try. I am giving 3 stars because they had a drawing and I was one of the lucky winners that won a purse. I am grateful for that! read more

Love this cute little salon, I've had cut and color done by Sarah and a lash lift done by one of the other ladies, both turned out great! I've even taken my daughter here to get her hair trimmed. So far no complaints, I wish they had more availability for lash appointments but I know it because they are booked out due to their skill and popularity. I went to Madison at Blushing Belle 7 months ago in desperate need of a color correction after someone had completely destroyed my hair. I was honestly nervous to have anyone touch my hair again but it had to be done. I'm so grateful to have met Madison who took on my challenged hair (just look at that before photo) and was able to correct it in one session. Holy moly I paid more than I've ever paid, ever, for a partial highlight and cut. Over $350! I was in shock at the end of my appointment and went home in tears. Had I known it was going to be that expensive I definitely would have gone somewhere else or at least budgeted for that price. Honestly, my hair doesn't even look that different from when I went in. I also waited almost 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to even get taken back to the chair. No one even spoke to me about waiting or running behind. Mandi and Tessa took great care of my bridal party and me on my wedding day! I had an issue with who I had originally booked my hair and makeup with and thank goodness Blushing Belle was available six weeks before my wedding. Let me tell you about nerve wracking! My bridesmaid and I had such a great place to spend the morning getting ready and we were in great hands. Mandi even ended up driving my Mom back to the venue because we were running late and she decided to get her hair done last minute...now that's customer service! The lighting is great in the salon and it's decorated so cute. They had a play list going for us when we got there and made everything so simple for me...which when you're in your last weeks of planning simple is definitely what you need. I tried another studio prior to finding Blushing Belle and after having been at BB for almost two years now, I realize the knowledge of the staff is the best you'll find in the business.
