I don't write a lot of reviews but this one is worth writing incase anyone out there is looking for pool service that they can trust. I am so thankful I bumped into Ray when we were getting our pool serviced when purchasing our home. All I'm gonna say is he is so reliable and honest and takes his time to explain any questions you may have. He works hard and respects your time. If he can't make it a certain day he will notify you and he also works late just to make sure you don't miss any week of cleaning. I'm beyond grateful. Capri is amazing! I called Capri for them to come look at my green, cloudy pool that my pool man swore was clean. Steve came over immediately took one look at my pool, and in less than 5 minutes was able to tell me what the problem was. It appears that my old pool man did not put in enough tablets for my pool, and failed to mention that a couple of grids were out of order. Steve was awesome! He took care of the problem immediately and within days my pool is crystal clean and clear! I didn't know my pool could ever be this clear! His prices are reasonable, and does not try to up sell you items or services you do not need. He is honest, friendly, and knows what he's doing! Called Capri to have them fix my Hayward pump as I knew the Bearings were out because of the loud noise my pump started making. I had called serveral places and many would say how they hate Hayward, its no good, might as well replace the whole pump etc.. without offering to help me fix the problem. I didnt want to replace it! I just wanted to fix the bearings. They didnt offer to look into it either. Capri was different. They didnt complain about the brand, they wanted to help me. Ther personon the phone was very very informative. Advised me how to keep my pump clean, what should and shouldn't be around it. Lots of good advise and recommendations. The price was very reasonable as well (compared to others). Raymond "Ray" was the person that came to remove the pump. it was ready within days. Even though Ray could not make it to my place at the same time I would be there, he came back another day to explain how it was removed and how everything worked. I called Capri to ask them to blow my pipes because my pump wasn't functioning properly. I talked to Lyle and he patiently listened to the problems I was having. He told me my pipes are okay but I have an air bubble in my pipes. I would have gladly had him come over and fix it for me but he said I could do it myself. I have a love/hate relationship with my pool. I love jumping in it on a hot summer day but the hassle of keeping the chemicals balanced has given me more than a few gray hairs. I've always taken a lot of pride in maintaining the pool myself but recently the salt cell was acting up and I was at a loss how to make things right. I reached out to Capri and Lyle threw me a lifeline of knowledge and encouragement. The man is a walking history of pool care. Lyle was very generous with his time explaining chemical interactions, the history of conditioner and chlorine all the way down to issues with the water system in West Covina. Lyle is also very entertaining. He has a way of mixing stories and humor together that make pool care engaging and amusing. If he wanted to take a break from pools I could see him going on the comedy circuit as "Lyle the Pool Guy." Kind of like "Larry the Cable Guy" but funnier. I have had 4 different pool service companies look at my pool. I had a tinge of green color to my water and could not get it under control. I was told to try Phosfree, try clarifier, drain the pool, do a 1/3 drain or slam it with chemicals but probably will not fix the problem. I thought ok I'm draining the pool but getting just one more opinion. So now I'm about $170.00 into this with still no fix. So I called Capri pool service. Rick was in the area and offered to come by and look at it. After testing he said I think I can fix this with about $20.00 in chemical. He was upfront and honest about what he thought he could do to fix it up and offered other alternatives if this did not work. Took the time to explain exactly the operation of the system and why certain problems arise. So he treated the pool and had me run the pump for 12 hours. The next morning to my great pleasure I have a sparkly blue clear pool. If you want answers and not just someone who will sugar coat and try to sell up on you Rick is the guy.
