You'll never be bored! The restaurant has complimentary popcorn, so that's awesome! They have a nice sized menu with options for a variety of dietary needs, and complimentary popcorn. Service can at times be a little on the slower side, but there are many activities and complimentary popcorn to keep you occupied while you wait! If you stop for a meal in the summer, bring your doggo to their dog friendly patio! Our pup loves Rollhouse, and always gets a few treats and lots of scritches while she's there. I never leave negative reviews, but our experience at RollHouse was incredibly disappointing, especially considering this was supposed to be a special day for my little brother's 7th birthday. We booked a party for him, invited all of his friends and their parents, and expected a fun, organized experience. Unfortunately, the service was practically nonexistent. In fact, I can't even say the service was terrible because there really wasn't any service to speak of. We spent most of the time trying to figure things out ourselves and struggled to get assistance whenever we needed it. What made the situation even more frustrating was discovering that we were automatically charged a 20% service fee. For what, exactly? A service charge is supposed to reflect actual service provided, but we received little to none. Charging customers an automatic gratuity while failing to provide the level of service it implies is incredibly disappointing. When we brought our concerns to the manager, Maria, instead of taking responsibility or trying to make things right, she explained that one of her employees had called off. While I understand that staffing issues happen, that's an internal management problem--not the customer's responsibility. We still paid the full price for the party, including the mandatory 20% service charge. If customers are expected to pay full price regardless of staffing shortages, then the business should still be expected to provide the level of service those charges are meant to cover. Birthdays are important, especially for young kids. Families spend a lot of money to create lasting memories, and unfortunately, this experience left us feeling frustrated rather than celebrated. I hope RollHouse takes customer concerns more seriously in the future, reevaluates its automatic service fee policy, and ensures managers take accountability instead of offering excuses. Based on this experience, I can't recommend booking a birthday party here. read more

I would have given the bar food zero if this was the first time grabbing food from the bar. I used to pizza from this place on the way home. The pizza WAS really good a few years ago. Today, my entire order was burnt. Blackened enough that the cook should've known to tell me, "It will be a little longer" so that they can remake the food. I won the monster jackpot on a game in the arcade for over 6500 TICKETS which is a lot of tickets and it didn't register. so since no one was working in the game room I asked someone at the front desk and they asked a manager and after 30 dang minutes the manager said their is nothing we can do but I can give you your credits back I'm like I don't want my credits when it's 6500 tickets. The service there is always slow that's why I got to Roseland now. The prices are way cheaper there and there is actually staff there. I take my nephew to Rollhouse and his friend about once or twice a month and we never go bowling because the prices are not affordable and their is always never anyone in the game room that's working there. read more

Service was terrible. We ate dinner here and had a great experience, a few mess ups but overall they did a great job. We had rented a bowing lane from 7:30-9:30, and told the lane would have service. There was a young Brunette that appeared to be a server but didn't service anyone besides talking with friends and some manager named Cullen. After over an hour we made our way to the bar, lost out on ample time waiting for drinks. I wouldn't recommend this place. we made mention to cullen, who told the server. at that point we got stares and eye rolls, and for a full 2 hours. No service. Old fashioned: It is supposed to be bourbon, a dash of bitters, muddled orange and cherry (according to their menu). What I received is a watered down glass of something vaguely alcoholic with an old orange garnish on the side. Complete let down. Stick to cans and bottles here. Service - arrived in a group of 4 people. It is seat yourself. So we sat at a table closest to the bar. It took out server 15 minutes to greet us and say she would be right back (we did not have a menu yet). It took her another 15 minutes to actually take our orders and another 30 minutes to get the food. The sad thing is it wasn't our server's fault, I could tell she was hustling and trying to get to all of her tables in a timely fashion. Turns out she was the only server assigned to the entire dining room. There were 3 parties of 10+. And at least 7 other tables already seated when we got there. So she was great. Management should have had someone else on the floor or reduced the size of the dining room. Ambiance - Busy. To be expected on a Saturday evening. Not recommended, food is trash, our lane malfunctioned twice. Once when our balls didn't come back and the second time when the lane just stopped working. Probably lost 20 minutes between both and when we asked for time back they add 5 minutes maximum for both times. The burger patty was half the size of the buns, not kidding. The alcoholic drinks are seriously watered down besides the beer. Once the game ended we were ushered out by hovering workers that didn't wait a moment. Glad we have something like this right in Solon. It has bowling, bar area, an arcade, karaoke (???) and seating area for food. The bar area is super loud and service is insanely slow. The tables are quite sticky and never quite clean...I did enjoy playing darts this one time we didn't want to bowl. Food is normal bar/pub food and on the drier side. This was the worst bowling area I ever went to in my life. I came here after burying my brother on my birthday to have a little fun just to be racially. Profiled looked at and talk to you like I was dumb paid for two bowlong lanes, but only got one because it was " a weekend ", but I paid a weekend advance. Called the police on me after I pay the money for the $21 bill. I pay them their money so I had no clue why they were still calling the police on me and my family. Then I had the audacity to text me multiple times harassing me telling me to come back up to the bowling rink so they can call the police trying to beat me in so that I can get a fine or arrested and trust and believe I have every single screenshot of the text messages they sent the manager Glenn lied and said I called his phone and called him racist and was loud and belligerent in the place and I was not. This place was great before for a nice bar scene and a bowling alley. Now it is the poshest bowling alley with full arcade and an actual chef like menus. Completely affordable and will keep kids and adults entertained for hours. Laser tag, bowling, games, and a new escape room. They have really invested in the interior design and craftsmanship. No muss, no fuss, and no piles of wasted paper. In addition, we snacked at the restaurant within this great place, and the food was really great. Salads, sandwiches and all sorts of treats. They have a VERY full bar, along with drinks and snacks for the younger folks, and the bill was very reasonable. The laser tag area? HUGE. She was really willing to help and adjust the quotes to our needs and timeframe. We reserved the patio, to enjoy the last of summer and welcome up to 30 people outside. The location was really enjoyable, we had our own server for the time of the event, taking both orders of food and drinks. We never wait really an any of the orders. GREAT place for group activities, especially when the weather in NE Ohio is crappy (so, all of February). There's a TON of bowling lanes, there's a game area for the littles and not-so-littles, and there are rooms you could reserve for your group as well as a section of the bowling alley way in the back that can be reserved for private parties (I forgot to ask if a down-payment or any fees were required). There's a FULLY stocked bar if you're leaving the littles at home and a menu involving BBQ. Will absolutely go back AND I strongly recommend this for a Yelp event (especially in February). read more

While I am completely understanding that the state (as a whole) is back open, places like this must still be careful. We originally came on a Saturday, and it was packed! I guess cosmic bowling will go on! There was however "a brief waiting period" which happened to be 3 hours! Not brief at all, at least in my mind! Thing is we got there around 6:30, which we thought was early enough to beat a potential crowd. Upon attending again on a Sunday, it was still crowded. While I was very impressed and grateful with the number of hand sanitizer bottles I saw there were still a few things that were semi-annoying... we wanted to order food and o had to go to the bar area to get a menu, one was. New brought to us. Once we had the menu, it took another 20 minutes for someone to come. And while our waitress was decent, and thanked up for being patient I have to wonder what they would have done if every lane, versus ever other, were open. With 2 entrees and 2 appetizers, one that came with fries I would have loved to know in advance that we would have 3 orders of fries.. I wouldn't have placed a separate order for fries. Instead of even trying to swap it out, the waitress just said she was unable to do it since the meal was already brought out. All in all we had a good time, which is what we went for. Freeway lanes is spacious, clean, and on non-cosmic nights: well-lit. Staff are friendly and useful. There is something for everyone, and I mean non-bowling activities like: the arcade section, billiards, bar area, pizza, wings and a laser-maze. They have a very family-oriented crowd and following. My family and I visited today and had one of the worst experiences out of the few times we've been there. Starting with one of the young women at the front counter having an attitude when my party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children) including myself were trying to reserve two lanes for an hour. We get to the lane and try to order our food before starting our game not knowing the game is on an automatic timer, okay no harm, no foul. That was on us. Then we began to bowl, midway through the game the game malfunctions and sets us back for about 5-7 minutes before we were able to continue playing. After advising them of the mishap, we were told that nothing could be done about it. Next, upon finishing up our first game our food finally arrived. Cold fries, one person from my party didn't even get her drink. Around 8 minutes after our food arrived, one of the associates came to our table asking that we "relocate because the lanes are on a waiting list", which I understand, however after explaining that we had just received our food, she disregarded what was said to her and once again asked us to "relocate". Mind you we haven't seen our waitress since she had taken our orders - she didn't even give us her name! So when we advised her that we need our check she kept asking who our server was, which was a mystery because she never told us. She wanted me to describe her but the way she asked made me uncomfortable because we had already been having a bad experience and she didn't even show any form of compassion. If this is the kind of business that is being run then I won't recommend anyone spend a dime or drop of their time there. I've had better customer service in a school cafeteria than here. Understanding lack of staff is a thing these days, you won't hit every point, but you can't provide mediocre service for ridiculous prices and talk to people with an attitude and expect them not to be upset.
