There's a lot of interesting and good information, and I liked the people. But.... The first half of the tour is in an old mini bus. The bus has tiny windows, like 4" square, and no air circulation. No fans. No air conditioning. Today was nearly 90 out by 10 am, when our tour started, and temperatures inside the bus got so hot that stepping out felt cool! You don't travel far, and then they stop for 10 minutes to talk about what's out the window. It's brutal. Ironically, the travel distances are so slim most people could walk it. But, just sitting on the bus in the heat? Yuck. The second half is in an old shed where you learn about harvesting. Again, it could be interesting, but it's a good 10° hotter, even with the fans going, and it makes it hard to focus. Or even listen. Better weather would have helped. But, we had an old lady in our tour group nearly pass out, and the guide indicated that that was not uncommon. Heck, complimentary water would be nice. Waters are a dollar. The tour is fifteen. It's all cash only.

We saw lots of whales and they swam right next to the boat. The crew was very friendly and were able to point them out by name. Mr. Pete was super friendly and worth chatting with! We went on a rainy day to see some whales. What was interesting is that the whales tend to be in…read moreone spot, so all of the ships were circling around an area just past the tip of Ptown. The ride out was fine and I took some ginger pills beforehand. I stayed on the outer deck, but it was COLD! Definitely worth wearing extra layers and maybe even a winter jacket when venturing out, even in dead of summer. The ride back, I had to choose between cold and nausea, and I chose to sit in the enclosed area in the middle which made me feel so sick but being cold again for the hour or so ride home was not my cup of tea. The in-between: We saw so many whale families. Many of them breached. A few were saying "hi" smacking the water with their fins. Another totally jumped and spun in the air before crashing back into the water with a huge wave. On the way back to port we found one feeding using the bubbles method! I was in the middle area and too sick to get up but I saw someone recording the whole thing and got to see it from their phone! Overall it was awesome. The one thing that's a little bit disappointing is that they tend to go out twice a day. I learned later that that's because they're on a strict schedule with regards to high and low tides at their docking stations. We lingered out a little bit extra for that final breached whale, and rushed back to port to avoid getting stuck at sea. The price is a little steep but it covers the cost of staff, fuel, and other boat needed things. At the end of the tour the guide (describes what you're going to see and what's going on around the vessel in the water) asks for tips and you can drop a few bucks into a bucket as you disembark the ship. Happy whale watching!

Everyone got escorted to their cars and showed their designated seats. Staff was so pleasant and super polite. We got a refreshing appetizers with 2 glasses of wine, creamy clam chowder, as a main course we got oven scallops casserole that were absolutely amazing and Au Poivre Sliced Beef Tenderloin with a sauce similar to chimichurri accompanied with mashed red potatoes and veggies, super tender. The dessert was not so appealing, chocolate mousse with crushed pecans, coconut and a macaroon on top and of course coffee. We got to see a lot of what Cape Cod has to offer and the sun set by the canal. In my personal opinion the view could be better during the fall for the color changes. But overall it was a very good choice and we enjoyed it very much.

Lame. We'd seen Duck…read moretours going around Boston and always wanted to try them. So, when we saw them while walking around Hyannis we figured we'd give it a shot. I suspect they do their job fairs outside the old age home and the High School drama club meetings. The entire time we were on the tour all we kept hearing about is how the tour "could be better but they weren't allowed to travel there" and they were giving plugs to restaurants on the route. There was minimal historical significance when en route and being subjected to the constant snarky remarks and self deprecation which is demonstrated by the tour guides was obnoxious. The only redeeming quality to the tour is when the vehicle goes into the water for the short 10-15 minute ride. If only the guides would be quiet long enough for people to enjoy it... UGH. Luckily the tour was relatively inexpensive. Though the guides continue to remind you throughout the trip that they accept tips. I neglected to leave anything and high tailed it out of there. Stay away!

He regaled us with 38 years of experiences as we made our way to and from the cliffs of Aquinnah (Go. It's beautiful and reminds us of the majesty of nature.) We asked all our questions, got every question answered and laughed and sang with Craig on the way back. The last time I was here, I did the African American history group tour, and it was pretty good. This tour was better because it was a private tour. I would recommend Craig's private tour for anyone.

So if you're not in good shape, maybe the low tide tour would be better. But once we got going (about 1/2 way through) we were in the vicinity of hundreds of seals. Overall a great experience.

It was one of the highlights of our week on the Cape…read more Paddling through the marshes was so beautiful and peaceful; we loved seeing the oyster farms, getting up close to seals, and stopping at Coast Guard Beach. Our guide Jeff was friendly, low key, and knowledgeable. The only downside to the experience was that a family rudely showed up late and the other parties lost tour time waiting for them.
