I explained that the cheesecake had a date of 8/11-8/15 written on the label and that I had just purchased it on August 19. I was told that the numbers written on the cheesecake were not an expiration date, but numbers used by the business. I'm sorry, but 8/11-8/15 sure looks like a date to me, especially when the cheesecake was sold to me on August 19. If that date has another meaning, I would have appreciated an explanation or some type of documentation showing what it represents. What really disappointed me was the customer service. There was no apology, no offer to replace the cheesecake, and no refund. I simply felt like my concern was dismissed. Mistakes can happen, but how you handle a customer's concern matters.
